Actually, she doesn't say that they are friendly, but that the sounds are coming from the sky and try to frighten us.
And then the mother asks the kid what is it, and the kid answers that they either drip or dig up in the sky (depends if the kid made the accent right) and that they are far away. And that they are scary. Then she says that she wants to see them using microscope. And the mother replies that she can't see sounds through microscope. The kid then asks if maybe there are microbes. :)
