Subtitles for SOTT.net and Cassiopaea.org videos

Hi Cassandra. I was not familiar with this thread until I posted. I recently asked if I could help with something and was asked to transcribe this video. It is a waste of time to be repeating transcription work, although I did enjoy it. I would still like to volunteer my time in a more fruitful way in future, so if there are other videos waiting, I'll be happy to assist.
Maybe significant people's names could also be added to the documentaries. For example, John DeCamp, Paul Rodriguez, Gary Caradori, and Karen Ormiston from the Conspiracy of Silence part of MIVILUDES; also Brian Gerrish of the Holly Greig case, Douglas De Connick and Rudy Hoskens from The Dutroux scandal, etc.

I think permission would be needed first, however.
Just one example, I've been watching a few talks given by Brian Gerrish, which I plan to share. He seems a smart, down-to-earth, very educated, and grounded man of the people, not a nutty conspiracy-theorist. I think he's done a great job spreading the word on institutionalised paedophilial; the whys and wherefores, plus many other topics.
He also talks about neuro-linguistic programming in a very comprehensible manner. Very interesting.
I don't think it was a wasted excercise. I learned a lot and I'm sure you did too.

It seems that for now, there are no more transcripts pending (unless someone thinks of something). But if there is anything else, I'll let you all know. Since you want to give something to the network, maybe you can brainstorm here as to what you'd like to do. There are plenty of projects, from proofreading articles, to working as a SOTT editor.

Just a note, though. If you can, try to make each subtitle line not longer than 45 characters (depending on the screens, and on youtube, that seems to be the best lenght. But as you can see on the Barcelona conference subtitles, you can split up yours subtitles into 2 lines if you want. The idea (as much as possible) is to make each subtitle have sense, and try not to cut sentences too much.) As for the timing, it doesn't have to be perfect. If you are too OCD about it, you can spend a lot of time on each little segment (I know from experience :P). You can also simplify sentences a bit, removing the extra "you know"s, and such.

Ok, I have completed the .srt for the Camelot interview and attached. It is in .txt format because I can't attach a .srt file. Just open the file with Notepad, then use "Save As", then "Save as type:" All Files and add .srt to the file name.
I exceeded your 45 character limit but tested with the free VLC player and up to three lines was easily readable and allowed for plenty of time to read the text without too much flashing of text. I hope it works out ok for you. If you need the text broken down smaller, just let me know and I will be happy to do that. :)
Thanks Nicholas! I've never worked with subtitles that long, but I'll try to view it on different players and go though the text quickly one more time, and if everything is alright, I'll upload it. Having had a quick look at it so far, I see no problems at all.
