I'm at a 21 here. I took the test on the idea of how I wished the world was however, and not how Mr. Joe Mainstream from Conservative Ave. feels.

I got a 51. I was thinking along the lines that Adaryn was thinking. I tried to reason that some of those "rotten apples" were psychos.

And what are traditional values? Traditional as in 10,000 years ago before agriculture?

You know it's funny that when the test mentions the "rotten apples" most of us will think of the psychopats in charge, while the average guy the test was written for would probabbly think of, well... us!

Mine would have been at least ten points lower if I didn't know what I know about the world, so I wasn't surprised at how low it was, fwiw.

I scored 42. But like taking any test, I forced myself to do it. I strongly dislike any type of tests, unless the person who created the test is there to answer my questions regarding their questions. I agree with Adaryn that there so many ways to interpret what he is asking.

Take number 14 for example:

What our country really needs is a strong determined leader who will crash evil and take us back to our true path.

Well, every country needs a strong determined leader. That's +4. But then there's no mention of empathy or conscience and Hitler was strong and determined too. That's -4. But then it says that he/she will crash evil. That's good thing, there's evil everywhere. So there might be some goodness in this leader if he is to crash evil. That's +4. Wait a minute. It says "crash", that's forceful, it's not like saying "battle" or "fight". And what is the interpretation of evil here? And he/she will take us back to our true path. How far back? To the golden age? That 'd be nice. Or is it talking about the "traditional back" where only white privileged males have any rights at all? And wherever it is this leader will take us, will he ask us beforehand if we want to go there? Because it is an authoritarian test, I took the whole statement to be about a forceful strong determined leader who will take us back to white male traditional values and answered accordingly.

i scored 60. i did notice that i would have scored higher if i had have answered neutral on everything, which seems to imply that an apathetic response would have been better than the one i gave. so the moral of this story is: dont give a......

I had the same reflexion. If you think "Hitler", it's - 4, but it you think "JFK" - or a committee composed of the most knowledgeable, wise and "moral"/empathic people of the country (think logocracy mentioned by Lobacweski), then it's +4

I got 20. I was reading from a conventional perspective of how it seems to me that things should be and without reading any more into the questions than my initial impression, I think. I also observed a passing weak feeling in my stomach as I was reading and answering.

I took the test and scored a 74. I marked down quite a few zeroes when I felt the question was misleading or unanswerable.

I got a 60, but I agree with the others in that how one interprets the questions can skew the results. I was kind of surprised, though, at my high score, because I tended to think of the "authorities" as the psychopathic PTB.

Then again, for questions like #10:

I also interpreted "perversions" as psychopathic behavior.

I guess I should take the results with a grain of salt, perhaps.
