The Dot Connector Magazine Joins Forces With SOTT.net!

Received mine in the mail the other day! Absolutely amazing layout! I love the advertisement for EE on the back of the front page cover and can't wait to read the articles and try out those recipes.

Thank you very much!

I would like to print out the flyers and get them out to people at our gigs starting tomorrow night , but im on mac and it does not open .rar files. Any way of making them mac friendly?

I use The Unarchiver - http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/22774/the-unarchiver - works with OSX 10.3.9 or later.

BINGO!
Cheers Heimdallr
Will get some of these flyers out next time we play.

There are many currency converters out there on the internet. You could put the amount in and send it to Boulder. If it's not enough, I'm sure you'll be notified. Here's one I just found, among many.

This is the magazine's flyer and order form (double sided), with different color versions. You can download the PDFs here, ready to be printed.

What size has everyone been printing these? I had originally in mind the size of an insert for ordering new issues that they stick in magazines. This is about the size of a post card.

I looked at the price for making post card sizes and it's quite reasonable. A standard post card is about 1/4th a sheet of paper, but I did a test print and the text is quite small. A larger 8x5 postcard, about half a sheet of paper, kind of stretches the image wider. Perhaps not a big deal though, but the standard postcard seems less bulky.

We subscribed also, and I just want to add praise for the high quality of the magazine, superb article writing, truly high end presentation, 'glossy-mag' with style

Apologies if this has already been asked, but would it be possible to pay for a PDF version without PayPal? I don't have a credit card, and ordering the DCM directly to my house would likely be a huge break in Strategic Enclosure. Could I possibly send a letter to Boulder with a $10 bill (cheaper than a money order), and request that a link to the PDF be sent to my email when they receive the money?

Also, I may have missed the memo on this, but didn't QFG lose a lot of money by introducing PDF versions of their books? How are you all dealing with piracy?

Thank you very much. :)

Got my #11 issue of DCM!  :headbanger:

I didn't think it could get any better, but you all have outdone yourselves, or so I think. What a beautiful magazine. I can't wait to get started reading it. :)

I am amazed at the excellent content when you add into the fact of all of the other things you all have going at the same time.

Thank you!

Many thanks to DCM #11 for Joe Quinn's article The British Empire: A Lesson in State Terrorism.

A must read for everyone, it's an intelligent and uncomplicated read for a complex topic: the truth about the victimization of the Irish people to reveal the tactics of State Terrorism.

Hope to see it on Sott so it can have facebook distribution.

The subscription card in issue #11 has $US amounts as well.

The easiest way I've found to do currency conversions is to go to Google and just type:

39.95 euros in dollars

It's pretty accurate!

You can use Google this way for other conversions, like:

232.37 cubic feet in cubic meters

Kinda handy. :D

Hi zlyja,

Just an FYI. Cash sent by mail often disappears due to mail theft. If you have ever received mail where the corner of the flap is slightly torn, that's usually because someone at the post office was looking for cash or anything else of value.

They tear a small opening, usually in a way that could be blamed on the envelope getting stuck in their machinery. They then insert a pencil with double-sided tape and attach to whatever they can.

Then they spin the pencil so the paper wraps around it and is easily removed through the opening.
I'm sure someone will chime in with other payment options. Perhaps a cheque?

Gonzo
