Incidentally, because I could not change the address, the magazine came to my home instead of to my workplace and so my (non-colinear) wife saw it. She opened it and she said that she read it for a couple of hours, before I got home, since she was home when the mail came.

I did not get into trouble, (=did not get attacked in an emotional outburst) and perhaps it gave her some food for thought for later.

Interesting....its starting to make me think that having something in a magazine format actually bypasses peoples filters for "things you've read on the internet/in a book".....a lot of people seem to be reading this without dismissing it before they do. osit

However, as I posted in another thread:

.... she said the style and language of the articles seemed "unscientific" to her and more like a religion that particularly bashes Christianity (she is a conservative Christian) and seems more about intellectuals wanting to just turn everything upside down.

I was somewhat amused when she noted that no wonder this group is appealing to me: they seem to focus on rationality, health, and try to find answers in a difficult and dangerous time in the ever darkening and evil world. [I paraphrased her, this was not her exact words]

Well fwiw she at least read it! That's probably the most important thing....simply because it may well leave a few seeds that (hopefully) one day will see the light and start to grow.

I've seen these seeds starting to sprout in others recently in a few cases....really interesting to watch.

Yes, Redfox, I agree with you on this point.

She may observe something in the news or in her environment in the future and she has a chance now to see it a little differently due to some seeds of ideas planted by just that couple of hours perusing the magazine.

In a way I found it encouraging that someone who has a ready bias and contempt still did read something from the magazine. I also think it was significant in this particular case that she was able to keep from letting the emotions run free, even if she needed to express criticism of the group.

When people who have strong biases and resist alternative views pick up a publication like this, perhaps some messages are nevertheless received by the brain unconsciously: "hey, these people are serious about what they are doing: multiple people are taking their time to write, and publish, in a magazine that they took the trouble to make look attractive. They are not JUST using the internet. Maybe I should also check out their message?"

I started to think right away about the possibility of ordering extra copies of a particular magazine. But too bad it seems we don't have an option to send it to another address other than what paypal has - so it seems? That would be handy to send one to friend in another country for example.

You can always purchase as many copies as you want, and then send us an e-mail with the delivery addresses of your choice. :)

But Mr. Scott will probably be able to give you a more accurate answer.

I just left my copy at the tobacco and magazine shop, the owner will read it first and then place it on display to get some feed back from is customer. He will also show it to is agent from whom he purchase European magazine. Anyway, what is important is that it is displayed and that may convince him to order some either from red pill or if it possible from or trough is distributor. Who know, if the feed back is good, he may convince the distributor to approach red pill. It will be next to Nexus's so let see what come of it.

Finger cross indeed. The magazine may open the door for other red pill publication. I will go back on Monday to get some feed back, if they are positive I will present the magazine to other retailer in the region.

Mine was waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home yesterday. When I took it in the house and put on the table without saying a word, my wife picked it up, sat down and read for half an hour. She'd never read anything in English for that long before. This morning she took it to her English class for discussion. That really speaks for the quality and attractiveness of the magazine

This is wonderful news, Bobo08!! :D Thanks for sharing it. It is good to know that people are more receptive to the Magazine.

I had a similar experience while talking to Pilule Rouge (RPP) customers recently. The three I told about the magazine were very happy about it and have decided to purchase an issue. They all told me that they were certain they could share it with others now that reality is explained in simpler terms, in a pretty magazine, etc. So let's hope that it continues this way. And we really need ALL of you to help us with this, by talking to people, sharing the magazine around, etc. Let's remember that, like with EE, absolutely everyone can benefit from it, and that it may help humanity in ways we cannot even imagine. Well, at least we can do our best!!

For anyone who didn't know and for anyone who are debating about ordering the magazine:

Both issue number 1 and 2 are free in pdf files on the website. All you have to do is order to magazine for 0.00 which amounts to becoming a member and filling in contact information. Then, the pdf file will be linked to an email which is sent to you.

So if anyone is on the fence, this would be a great way to explore the magazine before making a purchase!

It is worth it to note though, that because the dot connector magazine became a collaboration project and the official magazine of sott.net, the future issues will probably be a bit different and possibly "better".

The magazine gives a nice impression. Tells is like it is but is full of hope. Like time is on the side of those who are awake. It's the bad guys that are running out of time.

I will get a estimate in a print shop on Monday, I rather have them print on cardboard before distributing them around.
