The European Union: Glorious New 'Holy Roman Empire', Anglo-American Trojan Horse, or Left-Liberal Globalist Nightmare?

There you go - von der Leyen is the new Glorious Leader of the EU... against the normal parliamentary procedures BTW. In other words, the tiny bit of democracy existing in the EU just go further reduced.

Here's a pre-election overview of her positions from mainstream news. Get ready for "unity against Climate Change", Gender Parity in the Commission (= worst kind of Equality of Outcome), building a European army and other lovely things...

The EU is really a sinking ship... There is no other way to put it. And all the circus in the last couple of days in the EU-Parliament about the undemocratic way Von der Leyen was put into place was likely just that: a circus to show the EU-Citizen that "they care about democracy". Yeah right... And by the way, Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer (or short; AKK) has now replaced Ursula Von der Leyen here in germany as the new Minister of Defence. Yes you heard right, the same Person that was at Bilderberg together with Ursula recently and who has been hyped for years as the next chancellor after Merkel here in germany.

You can hardly get more democratic than that.

MOSCOW, July 19, 2019 - Moscow suggests that Russia and the European Union start talking instead of making threats, but it is impossible to talk about partner relations until European politicians cease advancing aggressive policies against Russia, Chairman of the Russian Federation Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee, Senator Konstantin Kosachev said on Friday.

"We equally cannot hold dialogue in the same way with those who advance aggressive economic, information and other policies against our country, issue ultimatums, use incorrect terms, carry out large-scale disinformation and fact-meddling campaigns, boost military presence near our borders and brazenly interfere in our domestic affairs," Kosachev wrote on his official Facebook page.

"Until it all stops, we cannot talk about partner relations. We are not asking the EU, we are proposing moving from threats to dialogue. However, judging by the first speeches of the European Commission president, flexibility and diplomacy are not the strengths of the new leaders," the senator added.

His comments were made after former German Defense Minister Ursula von der Leyen, appointed President of the European Commission, delivered speeches, saying that the EU and NATO should continue dialogue with Russia from the position of strength.

"I believe that Ursula von der Leyen got off on the wrong foot. She urged to do everything possible so that the EU and the United States join their efforts to collectively oppose Russia and not counter it separately, continue abiding by the sanctions against Russia from the position of strength, because the Kremlin allegedly is merciless in the face of weaknesses," Kosachev pointed out.

Bad Advisors
According to the senator, the European Commission head’s advisors are bad if they are convincing her that talking to a partner with respect is a weakness. The senator is certain that "von der Leyen’s statements on successes in exposing Russian disinformation and fake [news] spreading campaigns (in other words, everything that does not fit the solely true Western point of view) reflect the continuation of the policy of autosuggestions and denial of the very possibility of alternatives to complicated situations."

At the same time, the head of the Federation Council Committee believes that "mundane reassurances of the European Commission president that [the EU] is ready for dialogue with Russia do not seem convincing." "Just like her predecessors, Ursula von der Leyen does not seem to realize that it is not Russia longing for dialogue at any cost and under any conditions. It is equally needed by both sides and our nations. There will be no dialogue from the position of strength," Kosachev underscored.

On July 16, Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) approved the nomination of Ursula von der Leyen as president of the European Commission. She will assume office on November 1, when the term of current president Jean-Claude Juncker expires.

France has squeaked past Italy to become the country with the biggest debt load in the euro area in absolute terms, according to quarterly data from Eurostat. Its debt-to-GDP ratio is still just below 100%, compared with Italy’s 134%, and the nation’s borrowing costs are far, far lower, but the dubious honor may undermine its moral high ground when it comes to lecturing Italy’s government about its controversial budget plans.

This is not about the negative aspects of the EU, proving that it is a sinking ship. But what the EU has difficulty realizing, as long distance public trains in several places of the EU are giving way for more busses and planes, are fast speed train network like in China:

BRUSSELS August 17, 2019 - The outgoing head of the European Union’s executive, Jean-Claude Juncker of the European Commission, has cut short a holiday to undergo urgent surgery, his press team said in a statement on Saturday.

“Jean-Claude Juncker had to shorten his holiday in Austria for medical reasons. He was taken back to Luxembourg where he will undergo an urgent cholecystectomy (surgical removal of the gallbladder)," the team said of what is normally a routine medical procedure.

Juncker, a former Luxembourg premier whose health has been the subject of rife speculation among EU politicians, analysts and media for years, is due to step down on Oct. 31 as head of the Commission.

He will be replaced by German conservative Ursula von der Leyen, the first woman to lead the institution that proposes EU laws, polices the economies of all members of the bloc and negotiates trade deals around the world.

She said Juncker would discuss G7 matters before the Saturday-Monday summit in Biarritz with the host, French President Emmanuel Macron, and European Council President Donald Tusk.

🇪🇺 The EU - A Sinking Ship

While they are celebrating on the captain's bridge the immovable vessel is holed below the waterline, but it seems that the r*ts are not abandoning ship, yet (due to first-class accommodation).

We are on a sinking ship
We are on a sinking ship

You say we are one
You say we are having fun

You say we are all in the same boat
You say that this thing will float

You say you had your doubts
Sometimes you wanted to get out

Instead you said give this a little more time
And everything is gonna be fine

And if your people are the best
Tell me why are you wearing a vest
This investigation into disinformation
keeps putting everyone to the test

And as an outlook for 2020... 🌊
So now we are getting drunk
What was sinking now is sunk
And everything we were just trying to save is now vanishing under the wave

As expected, Ursula pushes full steam ahead, destroying Europe on the way. Didn't take long for her to spring into action. I'm afraid though, that this is just the beginning of the crazy deeds that can be expected from this woman at the highest position in Europe. She isn't even shying away to compare her plan to the moon landing.

Press conference after the adoption of her plan:

Ursula thinking moon landing is an appropriate comparison:

It is for the people! Sure...

I think you are right. The choice of the the word moon landing is fraught with undertones, like technological advance, discovery, risk, cooperation, sacrifice, expensive, loss of life and not going back for a long time. While the original moon landing was based on science much of the ideology surrounding this push for "Green" is mistaken which gives one more meaning - lunacy or should we say political lunacy, the effects of which can be understood from the work by Dr. Andrzej M. Łobaczewski on Political Ponerology. If the Green ideology policies began in earnest some ten years ago, then we can probably expect much more of this in the coming years - until something else intervenes.

Thirty years ago, on December 18, 1989, Brussels hosted the signing of the Agreement on Trade and Commercial and Economic Cooperation between the USSR and the European communities. This date became the point of departure for official relations between Russia as the successor state of the USSR and the European Union.

Pushed to the extreme Europe could become the biggest UNESCO protected heritage+natural reservation dedicated to the select annual Davos meetings. I propose the next Davos meetings to take place on the Moon. As a plan B how about moving it to Siberia?
