The Industry Exposed

I've watched the first nine of these things and I'm already fed up with those idiots.

What a mountain of delusional clap-trap!

These "artists" and their controllers can have all the secret handshakes, code-words, "spooky" symbols, and ritual concert parties they want, but it all boils down to one thing: delusional, childish clap-trap.

Yes, I can see how if the music industry really believes this nonsense about being gods, about aligning themselves with the brotherhood and it's secret-society managerial staff in order to obtain power in the here and now, that the product they generate and broadcast will have the effect of stupifying and ponerizing the populace. I get that. A whole planet filled with people resonating on the wavelength of "stupid" is a commodity for those who want to feast upon it. It's the flock dreaming that they are lions, eagles, sheep and magicians.

But for goodness sake, can it seem any dumber? It's such a mound of ugly, ridiculous hooey!

It's good to have that exposed, though. These videos are certainly valuable from that perspective, but oh my god, I just can't take people who worship triangles seriously. Can't they just offer a plain old salute to the plutocrats and be done with it? All this gothic, morbid, symbolic B.S. is just embarrassing to be sharing a planet with.

And that's probably the point.

I agree, It's not necessary to watch the 69 parts to understand that the music industry is making you loose time and energy is useless and pathological activities. And I THINK (I may be wrong) that the maker of this series are God Like Productions.

really? from the 'production value' i would say it's one single person with limited video editing skills.

that said, i like the videos - esp. one of the recent ones about the manson murders.

I don't know too much about symbolism or the power of symbols...all I know is the typos in these videos caused me to not take the majority of the content seriously. Actually, the content itself caused me to not take any of it seriously. It seemed to me that the maker of the videos wanted to show the artists as sinister, when all they are (IMO), is narcissistic self-centered attention junkies. If any of those dances or symbols mean anything to anyone, it's probably not the artist themselves. This is not a recommended substitute for Dave McGowan's Laural Canyon series by any stretch of the imagination (not that I think Dave's totally right either; I just enjoyed his writing way more than the 3 or 4 vids of "the Industry" that I saw).

I used to be an avid watcher of the pop industry, mainly the Asian one, through my Oriental cultures studies. I even spent a short time researching some of the music videos by famous South-Korean and Japanese 'idols', because the symbolism in them is even more obviously presented than what I've seen in Western videos. To me that music now sounds like noise, probably designed to do quite the damage to one's mental health, so I refrain from listening to any of it voluntarily.

However, it is remarkable how symbolism has developed over the years; where there used to be only a couple references per video, in the latter days of my research there seemed to be no Asian artist in the charts that didn't have a video completely 'soaked' in symbols, from checkered floors, glass cages and pyramids to all-seeing-eyes - there
were even some songs that kept on repeating the words 'Lucifer' and 'Venus', along with flashy handsigns and repetative drumbeats. Needless to say, everyone was 'hooked' and the internet auditions to 'become an idol' only increased more.

The Asian music industry (and this probably goes for any music industry) is run by several big 'record' companies that all have a big amount of stocks and when something needs to be promoted, even the government makes clever use of idols to call upon the attention of their loyal fans. They become ambassadors, are used in advertisments, entertainment shows and magazine photoshoots - proper 'puppets', if you ask me.

When I quit researching there were some interesting lawsuits running of idols suing their industries for poor treatment and dishonest contracts. The amount of celebrity suicides had also increased desperately that year and all in all it just seemed that everyone was unhappy - completely the opposite of what they try to promote, of course. Even the fans were becoming more and more agressive towards one another because of all the gossip and bad news... very encouraging to never set foot in that world again.
