The Politics of Climate Change: Green New Deal And Other Madness

thank you, nienna. so, it remains ambiguous.
i will use "like" in every case to express my appreciation to the purveyor of the post, which however will not imply my endorsement of the content of the post.
a not ambiguous solution would be to be able to concatenate two answers, eg: a like for having posted plus a qualifier for my opinion on the content of the post...
i am sure that ai would help us to find the ultimate solution...

As everyone else which follow and create the climate policies...
New York Becomes 1st State to Ban Gas Stoves (in new buildings so far)

Since they saw that there were not many complaints, they continue to move forward.
Biden Regime Set to Ban OVER HALF of all Gas Furnaces and Change How Millions Heat Their Homes

Now the Biden regime is willing to let you freeze to death to continue their radical “climate change” agenda.

The Regime will soon finalize new regulations severely restricting what furnaces you can buy for your home in the future and make new purchases more expensive. The rules were originally proposed back in June 2022 by the Department of Energy (DOE).

Here are the full details of the regulations courtesy of Fox News, which first broke the story. The rules could finalized at any point over the next several weeks.
Under the proposed regulations, DOE would require furnaces to achieve an annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) of 95% by 2029, meaning manufacturers would only be allowed to sell furnaces that convert at least 95% of fuel into heat within six years. The current market standard AFUE for a residential furnace is 80%.
The network explains this would take non-condensing gas furnaces off the market due to AFUE requirements. Consumers who replace their non-condensing furnaces with a condensing one would face potentially cost-prohibitive installation costs.

Richard Meyer, the vice president of energy markets, analysis and standards at the American Gas Association (AGA), called the rule “concerning.”
There are some really technical reasons why this is such a concerning rule. It has to do with the ability for consumers to be in compliance with this new efficiency standard.

They’re going to have to, in many cases, install new equipment to exhaust gas out of their home. These higher efficiency units, or so-called condensing units — a lot of consumers have them in their home, but a lot of consumers don’t. So, this rule would require additional retrofits for a lot of consumers. And those retrofits can be extremely cost prohibitive.
Fox News says that up to 60% of all current residential furnaces on the market would banned under the new proposals.

Because millions of Americans will not be able to afford the new equipment along with the new furnace, some will end up freezing to death.
This is the latest step in the Regime’s efforts to completely alter our way of life. Recall that in February, The Gateway Pundit’s Cristina Laila reported the Feds were considering a complete ban on gas stoves in America.

Biden officials later tried obfuscate to tamp down on the national uproar before partially admitting the truth in March saying the want to ban “some” gas stoves. New York in late April followed the Regime’s signals and became the first state to ban gas stoves.

The Biden regime in May then released devastating rules to dramatically slash water and energy use limits for Americans’ dishwashers below current levels.

While ordinary Americans will suffer and die thanks to this despicable new rule, wealthy elitists will escape unscathed. Rules are for only little people

“Stockholm sucks

This is the current ad campaign’s title by Stockholm’s Exergy - which citizens can enjoy while rushing to work, or coming from work. Other titles you find are “Stockholm sucks. Very much”.

Stockholm city will be one of the first cities in the world who will “suck out” CO2 from the atmosphere. With modern technology against climate change :umm: Wohooo.

I said it several times; Little Sweden is “best in test” with self created woke gold medals and all, in the stiff competition of absolute craziness

So, apparently it is about to extract and separate CO2 from the products they burn etc and then concentrate it into liquid and later pump it under the mountain ground under the sea, where it crystalizes into carbonate. I heard the other day that Iceland offers other countries to send their liquified CO2 for storage deep into the ground of Iceland.

Supposedly this technology is deliberately forbidden / not spoken about by the current Government. Let that melt like a caramel in the mouth for a moment.

For several years, there has been a test facility in existence in Germany, which removes all CO2 from Coal - and under current skyhigh electricity prices plus the addition of heavy EU CO2 taxes on top (which soon will get doubled) - giving with this CO2 separation process way more affordable prices on electricity.

I think the location is in either Schwerin or in Plön ?! The official story however goes that this tech was not interesting, and the facility been sold off to Canada

And that is a lie. The test facility and tech still exists in Germany, at the same spot.

Interesting is that the German Gov and establishment in essence give a rats ass for all types of lets call it “true green energies”. Even for those who do play within the official framework of the green narrative, yet giving lower prices and releasing clean air. But not even that they are interested in and lie about such technologies, too.

Therefor i believe, the is about to impoverish the German people - by all means necessary.

A change of ownership doesn't necessarily imply a change of location...
From what I understand, it has not been sold off to Canada.

It was discussed here (i think) / German language.

1. stupid assumptions = that co2 is nefarious, lead to stupid inventions like co2 removal.

2. just calculate how much one can remove from the atmosphere and it is evident that such removal has ZERO effect. in addition, co2 is necessary.

3. HOW CAN so called "ENGINEERS" building such machines be that stupid???

4. i am sorry to be3 so criude, but i have no words

This "city" is showed with a mirrored facade that would fool birds that come to crash on the walls of what I would call a prison. Instead of a revolution in civilization, I see a de-civilization revolution in which human beings would be completely disconnected from their natural environment and that looks like kind of space stations seen in some fiction movies. I can only see wishful thinking at its most stupid.

Oh, and they say a construction "designing to protect and enhance nature", showing it in the middle of a desert . They call this project "The line"; Yeah, it only makes me think of the last straight line before the end (of their entropic world).
