Using a pendulum, when I inquired about how I died in a past life, my throat began to tighten. It was a very unpleasant feeling. Did you also have a physical reaction when you tried to get an answer to "touchy" questions?

Not really! It was a bit of a surprise. It made me a bit emotional because it would make sense with lots of things on the current life. Your case I don’t know if it’s related to how you really died in the past life, since dowsing use our muscles unconsciously perhaps brought back a muscle memory too? I don’t know never heard of that being the case.
Could be also that was your way emotionally speaking, to process information or to express info that you just acquired.
