RFK Jr feet of clay? I'm learning some disappointing things about RFK Jr that I did not know about, unfortunately. The most serious is, of course, allegations of abuse of a woman named Eliza Cooney who was employed as a nanny many years ago. I would hazard that there's probably more young women. It's just a shame that his behavior not only caused harm but also may endanger the whole MAHA agenda.
This video is heavily biased against the MAHA agenda, but there's information in here about his character.
It starts with retelling a story that Kennedy retold to Roseanne Barr about Kennedy planting a dead bear cub in Central Park after having it in his car for several hours. He states that someone else hit it, he gathered it up and was planning to put in his roadkill fridge for his falcon or whatever but had to go to a dinner then had to get on a plane so was not able to do so. He naturally decided to pretend that it was hit by a bicycle?
I did not know this but his twenties was filled with addiction to heroin mostly. I don't necessarily think that having the experience of addiction is a "bad" thing as long as he has taken accountability and made amends. According to the video he fed LSD to a parakeet once. After going to rehab he found purpose in environmental causes. Worked many years in this capacity.
His daughter Kit recalls a story where he cut of the head of a beached whale (I hope it was dead) with a chainsaw and put it on the roof of the car and drove 5 hours. For what purpose, I don't know.
Then it gets into admissions of many extramarital affairs via a leaked diary. Standard sex addiction fair. Diary was leaked probably by 2nd wife Mary or her sisters. Mary was in a custody battle with him, he was attempting to get full custody when she committed suicide. Kennedy portrayed her as an alcoholic with Borderline Personality Disorder. Mary's family found this to be false and insulting. Apparently, Kennedy approached Mary's therapist asking her to diagnose her as mentally ill. Therapist refused stating "your wife is not mentally ill, she is angry and depressed but she is not ill."
Mary's family wanted her to be buried near her family home but Kennedy wanted her to be buried at the Kennedy estate in Cape Cod. Kennedy prevailed.
Flew on the jet with Jeffrey Epstein x 2 to go "fossil hunting." When confronted about this stated he knew Weinstein, Bill Cosby, Roger Ailes.
Tried to get out of paying child support in 2012 stating cognitive problems from a contracting a parasitic worm.
Anyways I stopped watching mostly after 51 min mark because it just goes into "anti-vax, cellphone cancer" disinformation stuff. Since the Senate Finance committee will meet on the 29th to discuss confirmation. I wonder if it's just the anti-vax that will be the sticking point or if some of Kennedy's many "skeletons" as he calls them, will come out to haunt him?
