Iraq Will File Protest at UNSC if Turkey Confirmed to Be Buying Daesh Oil

_http://sputniknews.com/politics/20151202/1031131372/iraq-turkey-oil-trade.html

Baghdad will immediately lodge a protest in the UN Security Council if claims that Turkey is involved in oil smuggling with Islamic State terrorists are confirmed, the Iraqi Defense Ministry said Wednesday.

"If the Iraqi government receives enough evidence and details, without any hesitation it will file a protest at the UN Security Council and all other relevant international bodies," ministry's spokesman Naseer Nuri told Sputnik in a phone interview.

According to him, certain “general information about the smuggling of Iraqi oil by trucks to certain countries, including Turkey” is already available. “This oil is used to fund Daesh”, Nuri said.

“There is evidence, satellite photos and security services’ reports which confirm that Daesh smuggles oil to Turkey,” he said.

Iraq Asks UNSC to Start Investigating Oil Smuggling Operations

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry has provided evidence of the Turkish involvement into Daesh illegal oil trade at the briefing in Moscow.
Moscow also expects that members of the UN Security Council will quickly adopt a revised Russia-backed draft resolution on curbing financing of the Islamic State (IS or Daesh in the Arab world) militant group, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said Wednesday.
On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russia had received additional evidence that oil from fields controlled by ISIL were being transported to Turkey on an industrial scale.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated on Tuesday that he was ready to resign if it were proven that Ankara was purchasing oil from Daesh.

Putin has answered in a brilliant way to the turquey goberment.Shot them in the economic area, which results are going to be a caos for Endorgan.

The citizens in Turquey are upset with his policies, late and sooner Endorgan will be out of the ajedrez board and from Turquey.

Did the US and Saudis use AWACS to help target the SU-24?
http://regnum.ru/news/polit/2021108.html

A Russian military expert and columnist of the journal Arsenal of the Fatherland explains the details of the downing of the bomber and why not all went smoothly.

How did it all happen?

A U.S. Air Force Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS plane took off on 24 November from the Preveza airbase in Greece. A second E-3A of the Saudi Arabian air force took off from the Riyadh airbase. Both planes were executing a common task—determining the precise location of Russian aircraft. It is they that picked the “victim.”

The American E-3A was supposed to determine the activity of the Su-24M2’s onboard targeting radar, to determine if it was in search mode or if it had already locked on to a target and was processing launch data. It is known that the AWACS can direct the activity of aircraft in battle, conveying information to their avionics and flight computers.

That is, to determine how defenseless was our plane?

As it turns out, yes. As we know, the Su-24M2 was returning from its mission, and its flight computer was operating in “navigation” mode in tandem with the GLONASS [Russian GPS system.] It was returning to base and was not preparing for action.

The whole time, the E-3s were transferring detailed information about the Su-24M2 to a pair of Turkish F-16CJ’s. This plane [the F-16CJ] had been specifically built for Turkey. Its distinctive feature is a computer that controls a new, AN/APG-68 radar system, and which fulfills the role of a copilot-navigator.

But this information is obviously not enough to precision-strike a small target. Was something else used?

Indeed, the interception accuracy of the F-16CJ fighters was augmented by ground-based U.S. Patriot air defense systems, which are deployed in Turkey, or more precisely, their multirole AN/MPQ-53 radars. The Patriot can work with an E-3 or with MENTOR spy satellites, and it can’t be ruled out that the satellite assets involved the Geosat space system as well.

The flight trajectory of the F-16CJ indicates a precision interception of its target by means of triangulation: A pair of E-3s plus the Patriot’s air defense radar plus the geostationary MENTOR spy satellites plus, possibly, the Geosat space system.

Besides which, the E-3s provided guidance as to the location of our plane in the air; they determined its route, speed, and the status of its weapons control systems; and the Patriot’s air defense radar together with the MENTOR spy satellite provided telemetry on the SU-24M2’s movement relative to the ground surface—that is, it provided a precise prediction as to where our plane would be visible relative to the mountainous terrain.

So it turns out that the Turkish fighters knew with absolutely certainty where to wait in ambush for our plane?

Compare the (above) article with a U.S. Training Drill and Exercise (that began today - Dec. 2) over four Northern Plain States ...... published on Sputnik News, no less.

Residents on Edge Ahead of Massive Military Drills Over Northern Plains
http://sputniknews.com/us/20151202/1031086047/massive-military-drills-northern-plains.html

Citizens in four states are on edge as a large scale training exercise is about to begin over the Northern Plains this week.

The exercise involving bomber jets, tankers, and fighter jets is set to take place on Wednesday and Thursday in the 35,000 square-mile Powder River Training Complex and the airspace over North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Wyoming.

The training will be "under realistic scenarios that support full spectrum operations against modern threats," an Air Force spokesperson told the Rapid City Journal.

A battle had been underway for several years to expand the training airspace, making it the largest in the continental United States. Those fighting against it worried that it will disrupt towns, ranches, Native American sites, and civilian flights.

On the other hand, advocates claimed that it will boost military training while saving on jet fuel and other costs. The expansion was passed by the Federal Aviation Administration in March.

This week’s training is expected to be less noisy than those to come in the future, as it will not involve supersonic speeds.

The training exercises are scheduled to take place for only two hours each day, from 10 AM until noon. It is not expected to interrupt local air traffic due to the short duration of the military airspace control, and the altitude at which their planes will be flying.

The training will include F-16 fighter jets, E3 AWACS surveillance and command jets, KC-135 refueling tankers, RC-135 intelligence-gathering planes, and B-1 and B-52 bombers, though Sergeant John Barton told the Bismarck Tribune that there will be little notice of the activities from the ground other than the appearance of contrails from the planes.

“If they’re straight, those are from commercial jets. If it’s us, the contrails will be orbital,” Barton, a spokesman for the Ellsworth Air Force Base in South Dakota told the paper.

The large-scale and intensity of this week’s training is a type that will be limited to only 10 times per year, with each exercise lasting no more than three days. They must also be a minimum of three months apart.

Perhaps I am missing something, but it looks to me as if they will have trouble fitting in 10 of those exercises in a normal calendar year, if they have to have a minimum of 3 months apart.

Perhaps their 4D STS overlords will help them with a few timeloops so they can go back in time. :P

Reminds me of this quote - in the beginning of the thread ...

"Turkish military added the plane had been warned at least 10 times over a period of five minutes before being shot down by two Turkish F-16 fighter jets. He said the plane had violated Turkish airspace."

ISIS takes aim at Putin, with videos showing Russian 'spy' beheading, threats to Moscow
http://www.foxnews.com/world/2015/12/02/isis-takes-aim-at-putin-with-videos-showing-russian-spy-beheading-threats-to/

ISIS sent a chilling message to Moscow Wednesday, releasing a video showing the beheading of a Russian accused of spying, and another clip that included threats to attack Moscow, as well as Washington and New York.

The video showing the beheading is believed to have come from the terrorist group’s stronghold in Raqqa, Syria, where the Russian military has conducted devastating air attacks in recent weeks. The alleged spy’s identity was not immediately known, but he is believed to have gone to Syria in 2014.

"Here today, on this blessed land, the battle [against Russia] begins," the militant says in Russian.

The extremist also warns the Russian people that they are likely to face another defeat in reference their loss of occupation of Afghanistan in the 1980's and that their people are not even safe in their homeland.

"We shall kill your children for every child you've killed here," he states. "And we will destroy your homes for each home you destroyed here."

The first part of the video shows a confession from the alleged spy who identifies himself as Khasiev Magomid, 23, from the Chechen city of Grozny.

He recounts how he was recruited by the FSB, Russia's intelligence services, and how he assumed the alias of Haroon when he traveled to Syria. He adds how he was tasked with collecting information on ISIS fighters of Russian origin and especially those who wanted to return to the Caucasus region and Russia to carry out attacks.

In the other video, which does not show any captives, two camouflage-garbed men are seen sitting cross-legged on a beach, rifles propped against their shoulders. The first man speaks in Arabic, while the second speaks in English with what Middle East Media Research Institute analysts believe is an African accent.

“Praise be to Allah who allow martyrdom-seeking lions to storm the capital of France,” he says, in a reference to the Nov. 13 attack in Paris that left 130 dead and hundreds more injured.

“France was the beginning,” he threatens. “Tomorrow it will be Washington, it will be New York and it will be Moscow.”

It is at least the fifth time since the Paris attacks that ISIS and its affiliates have warned of a coming attack in the two U.S. cities.

Steve Stalinsky, executive director of MEMRI, said the threat is not new, but cannot be ignored.

“Any threat from ISIS when they mention a specific city should be taken seriously,” he said. “They have been successful over the last months, and all of the sudden they are regularly mentioning New York and Washington, and that had not always been the case.”

Daesh releases grisly footage of beheading alleged Russian spy
http://www.presstv.com/Detail/2015/12/02/440085/Daesh-video-Russian-spy-Syria

The Daesh Takfiri terrorist group has released a new propaganda video showing they behead an alleged Russian spy in the northern Syrian city of Raqqah.

In the video released on Wednesday, a Daesh member can be seen with a captive clad in an orange jumpsuit kneeling before him. The killer, speaking in Russian, says the airstrikes ordered by Russian President Russian President Vladimir Putin against the terrorists have "only made us more certain and more firm."

He goes on to address the people of Russia, saying, “You will not find peace in your homes. We will kill your sons... for each son you killed here. And we will destroy your homes for each home you destroyed here."

Before being executed by the terrorist, the prisoner claimed to be a Russian national from the Chechen Republic named Magomed Khasiyev, and said he joined Daesh to spy for the Federal Security Service (FSB) in 2014.

The video, titled “You Shall be Disappointed and Humiliated O Russians,” has not yet been verified and a senior FSB official has labeled the claims as baseless.

The footage comes after Russia started attacking Daesh targets in Syria upon a request by the government of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on September 30.

Another alleged leak from "Ukrainian WikiLeaks", this time between Saakashvili and Zurab Adeishvili. No audio, just a transcript, so it's impossible to verify, but this first bit is interesting:

M. Zurab How you doing?

Man, you see what just happened?

A. Oh yeah! Everybody has, how Erdogan knocked down the Russians!

Mikhail Nicolayevich, where are we headed?

M. Gene! wait outside for a bit while I talk to Zurab. Then we'll go.

A. What's going on, Misha, is a big war gonna start?

M. A general with CIA told me the Turks elbowed the Russians, and they have their reasons. Putin bombed the ISIS oil bases and blocked the contraband oil flow to the Turks. The Americans have been arming the Kurds, and Russia is also helping them make a Kurdistan, and Iran is gearing up now. So they wanted to hit back, and the Turks were actually there in ambush.

With that downed aircraft, the Turks warned the Russians not to bomb Syrian Turkmen near the border and it's got the Kurds scared. No one expected the terrorist attack in Paris, there are too many factions in the Islamic State and the CIA can't control them all.

Israel buys most oil smuggled from ISIS territory - report
http://www.globes.co.il/en/article.aspx?did=1001084873

Israel has become the main buyer for oil from ISIS controlled territory, reports "al-Araby al-Jadeed."

Kurdish and Turkish smugglers are transporting oil from ISIS controlled territory in Syria and Iraq and selling it to Israel, according to several reports in the Arab and Russian media. An estimated 20,000-40,000 barrels of oil are produced daily in ISIS controlled territory generating $1-1.5 million daily profit for the terrorist organization.

The oil is extracted from Dir A-Zur in Syria and two fields in Iraq and transported to the Kurdish city of Zakhu in a triangle of land near the borders of Syria, Iraq and Turkey. Israeli and Turkish mediators come to the city and when prices are agreed, the oil is smuggled to the Turkish city of Silop marked as originating from Kurdish regions of Iraq and sold for $15-18 per barrel (WTI and Brent Crude currently sell for $41 and $45 per barrel) to the Israeli mediator, a man in his 50s with dual Greek-Israeli citizenship known as Dr. Farid. He transports the oil via several Turkish ports and then onto other ports, with Israel among the main destinations.

In August, the "Financial Times" reported that Israel obtained 75% of its oil supplies from Iraqi Kurdistan. More than a third of such exports go through the port of Ceyhan, which the FT describe as a “potential gateway for ISIS-smuggled crude."

“Israel has in one way or another become the main marketer of ISIS oil. Without them, most ISIS-produced oil would have remained going between Iraq, Syria and Turkey. Even the three companies would not receive the oil if they did not have a buyer in Israel,” an industry official told the newspaper "al-Araby al-Jadeed."

"Israel has in one way or another become the main marketer of IS oil. Without them, most ISIS-produced oil would have remained going between Iraq, Syria and Turkey," the industry official added.

Tehran Can Provide Proof of Daesh Oil Trade With Turkey – Iranian Official

_http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151205/1031285567/iran-daesh-oil.html

Iran’s Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaie has said that Tehran was ready to provide the Turkish government with necessary information regarding Daesh and their oil trade, Iranian media reported.

"Iranian military advisors in Syria have taken photos and filmed all the routes used by ISIL's oil tankers to Turkey. If the Turkish authorities are unaware of the Daesh oil sales in their country, then we can provide them with such intelligence," Rezaie told reporters on Friday.

Rezaie also vowed that some important news would soon be released about the "destruction of Daesh terrorists and their defeat."

On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry provided satellite images of oil trucks massing at the Turkish-Syrian border as evidence of illegal oil smuggling from Syria into Turkey.

Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his family of direct involvement in an illicit oil trade carried out by Daesh.

Erdogan-Linked Mafia Godfather Discloses Sending Drones to Terrorists in Syria

_http://en.farsnews.com/newstext.aspx?nn=13940914000431

Sedat Peker, a fervent supporter of Erdogan, declared that he has sent hi-tech devices, including drones, which can be used in the war on Damascus, Turkish Odatv reported.

On his social network page, Peker has published photos of the technological equipment, including drones and laptops, that he has sent for the terrorists in Lattakia.

Meanwhile, renowned Turkish journalist Mardan Yanardag has called for bringing President Erdogan to trial for committing war crimes against the Syrian nation, and said, "Erdogan has sent thousands of trucks for the terrorist groups in Syria."

On Friday, leader of the Lebanese orthodox party Masarik Roderick Khoury said the fight against international terrorism should start with pressuring Turkey, now the main sponsor for militants groups in Syria.

"Turkey is the first and main power which funds and supplies weapons to terrorist groups. We believe the fight against terrorism should begin with pressuring Turkey. Now Turkey is the main sponsor of terrorism in the region," Khoury said at a press conference in Moscow.

"The name of the real leader of the terrorists is Tayyip Erdogan (Turkish President). The others like Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi (ISIL leader) and al-Qaeda are just his servants. Al-Nusra Front also carries out orders from Turkey," he pointed out.

According to him, there is real evidence to the allegations. Khoury said that after the city of Kassab, near Lattakia, was liberated from terrorists Turkish ambulance vehicles, clothes and weapons were found there.

Khoury added that when the terrorists take Syrian or Lebanese hostages they only can be released after negotiations with Turkey.

Baghdad: Turkish Tanks Enter Iraqi Province Without Authorization

_http://sputniknews.com/middleeast/20151205/1031288444/iraq-turkey-invasion.html

Baghdad calls on Ankara to "immediately" withdraw forces, including tanks and artillery, which it has deployed in the country's northern Ninawa province, allegedly on a training mission, without Baghdad's consent, according to a full statement from the press service of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider Abadi obtained by RIA Novosti.

The Iraqi authorities called on Turkey to "respect good neighborly relations" and "immediately withdraw its military from the territory of Iraq."

"We have confirmed that Turkish forces, numbering about one armored regiment with a number of tanks and artillery, entered the Iraqi province of Ninawa… allegedly to train Iraqi groups, without a request or authorization from Iraqi federal authorities," the statement said, according to RIA Novosti.

The deployment "is considered a serious violation of Iraqi sovereignty," the statement added.

Turkish media earlier reported that around 150 Turkish soldiers backed by 20 to 25 tanks had been sent by road to the Bashiqa area northeast of Mosul, the city that is Daesh jihadist group's main hub in Iraq.
On Friday, various media reports said that Turkish military personnel had been deployed to the Mosul area allegedly to provide training to Kurdish Peshmerga (a military force of Iraqi Kurdistan).
