Venezuela Oil: US Declares War on 'Narco-Terrorism'

New footage showing a US Chinook above a building in Caracas, presumably one involved in the abduction/exfiltration of Maduro:

The consensus on X seems to be that this was pulled off so smoothly due to a stand-down order, presumably from Maduro himself, thus he left the country willingly.
It seems this video was during a military exercise in Miami in 2023, not in Venezuela.

Colombia: The Israel of South America? From Creole anti-Semitism to imposed Zionism

Their presence has certainly increased.

On Colombia:
Suffice it to say that Wall Street investors in the drug industries have used the government to unleash and transform their economic power into political and global military might; never forget, America is not an opium or cocaine producing nation, and narcotic drugs are a strategic resource, upon which all of the above industries - including the military - depend. Controlling the world's drug supply, both legal and illegal, is a matter of national security.

Paranoid conspiracy theory from some Danish big-wig:

This is completely unreported. It is an internal coup. I believe it will very soon become clear that Maduro's vice president Delcy Rodríguez has made a deal with the Americans. That's why it was possible for the Americans to capture Maduro so easily - Delcy Rodríguez simply betrayed him and made a backroom deal with the Americans that she becomes the new president.

Trump mentioned it explicitly at the press conference just held, but none of the journalists caught it. This means the regime still holds power—and yes, this may also be the deal Trump has made with Putin. It is NOT regime change. And there is no democracy. Maduro is out, but the regime remains. And Delcy Rodríguez's payment: Venezuela's oil goes to Trump and perhaps Putin.

The leader of Venezuela's democratic opposition, María Corina Machado, can forget about returning to Venezuela—and forget about democracy. It honestly feels rather Vichy-like.

That a deal was made with VP Rodriguez beforehand sounds plausible, though I would imagine she was to become interim leader with Maduro's blessing, rather than him being 'betrayed' by her.

This episode (still live at this moment) from Redacted on YouTube, have a guest Thomas Massie who explains possible escenarios and what could have happened really well and the possible reasons of why neither Russia and China will do something about it military speaking.

That a deal was made with her beforehand is plausible though. I doubt Maduro wasn't aware of it though.
In a way that would explain why US military could enter the capital without any defense resistance from Venezuela missile system.

That or the fact that Maduro was aware and gave the order to not make any response. It’s hardly believable that this many US craft to enter and throw some bombs without zero retaliation from Venezuela unless the government was aware and allowed this somehow.

The interim leader, VP Rodriguez, to the Venezuelan population:

"[this action] undoubtedly has a Zionist tinge..."

Here's what I don't get: why take Maduro out, only to leave her - and thus 'regime continuity' - in?

Rodriguez's father was tortured to death by the intelligence service of the old regime (from which Machado is descended, and which was undoubtedly created by, or aligned with, the CIA).

Indeed. When one thinks that in the last year, the leadership of Gaza was eliminated, the Hezbollah leader, Nashrallah and many of the top leadership of Hezbollah were eliminated, an assassination attemp on Putin and now the kidnapping of the elected president in Venezuela. It has been quite a year and the recklessness is only increasing. Israel did use the semi-coup in Venezuela to tell Iran to watch and learn from it. In other words, Israel is itching to bomb Iran again and with backing from Trump.

It signals that the elite is desperate and is now ready to unleash unprecedented chaos and terror with only the tiniest veil of pretense anymore. And as usual, there is likely to be an unforeseen backlash.

Regarding China then it has made big investments in Venezuela not least in the oil and gas sector. One could imagine as a possibility that China might use their dominant control of physical silver as a leverage but time will tell.
Basically, the monolithic CIA-MI6-Mossad organization never left this second term, we saw how, little by little, Trump, despite struggling a bit at first, ended up giving in sooner rather than later for different reasons (in Ukraine, he was allowed to leave on economic grounds, which seems to be an area where Trump at least appears to have some room for decision-making and initiative to a certain extent, but even so, the CIA is still there).
Trump, despite being a grown man, throws tantrums every day because he has not been given his peace prize, while at the same time shouting in your face that the situation in Venezuela is about oil money and has nothing to do with peaceful issues, and he is currently threatening other countries with doing the same thing. (it is rare for a US president to tell you his intentions so openly, and even more unusual for the population not to take this fact seriously).

His playful facade when he speaks has a limit that he greatly exceeds with his actions. He is at a level where he cannot simply claim ignorance or manipulation and is therefore quite complicit.

Now we can expect the same antics if they attack Iran. I see they seem confident, at least superficially.

Lavrov holds phone call with Venezuelan vice president

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has held a phone call with Venezuelan Executive Vice President Delcy Rodriguez and expressed solidarity with the people of the South American nation in the face of US aggression."

"The conversation took place on Saturday"

“Lavrov expressed firm solidarity with the Venezuelan people in the face of armed aggression,"

"Both Lavrov and Rodriguez “expressed their support for preventing further escalation and for finding a way out of the situation through dialogue,” the ministry said. Both sides also voiced commitment to furthering the Russia-Venezuela strategic partnership agreement."

"Moscow has urged Washington to release the captured president and his wife."

“We emphasize the need to create conditions for resolving any existing issues between the United States and Venezuela through dialogue,” the Foreign Ministry said in a statement."

Here's what I don't get: why take Maduro out, only to leave her - and thus 'regime continuity' - in?

Leaving her in aims to prevent mass protests and the need for US forces to put them down. Leaving her in power allows for the appearance of a legitimate leader, although clearly she won't be there long if she does not betray her loyalties, which for now she seems disinclined to do. It's a crass attempt, and it remains to be seen if it will work.

The silver lining today was this moment:

Trump sidelining María Corina Machado with one deft dismissal. Ms. Nobel Prize Winner probably woke up thinking she'd hit the jackpot, only to be summarily shafted.

It's interesting that Trump demonstrates he has objective data to hand about Venezuela: Machado would indeed have insufficient popular support to replace Maduro, not even in the short-term.

Her promise to "move Venezuela's Israel embassy to Jerusalem" got her precisely nowhere!

This difference may yet prove significant, indicating that Trump's vision for Venezuela's future is not identical to 'the globalists'/Israel's.

Then he would be entering again on dangerous waters… that’s giving the impression of Trump saying “here is maduro, I took him out as you wanted” and at the same time telling Venezuela behind doors, “we gotta do this because I have a lot of pressure on my shoulders”.
Wouldn’t be really shocking since Bibi was at Mar-a-Lago 2 weeks ago, and Trump announced on that precise meeting the first “attack”.
It’s like giving a type of hope to both sides but without going fully to any side. Also today’s conference tone was like we are this good we can make this happen and that etc. Very egocentric, it’s also telling the American people “we a strong government, we can still handle international affairs to our benefits, look at the power of our intelligence and military, no need to pay attention to the subject of Israel influence”
