What are you listening to?

George Harrison - Wah-Wah

Great song when one has something to wah wah about or is tired of some wah wah, and if listening to it on a real music player (preferably LP, with good record player, amp and speakers) it is most excellent for making the body go boom boom ;)

(damned! sound has really been killed by technology, people nowadays that have only heard music on computers don't even know what sound can do)

Music.

I was so much in love music, tear up my on heart just to feel something.

Now, all of that is unbearable for my hears, I'm looking for some music that will calm me down, because I'm so nervous all the time.

I know what you mean, when I'm too stressed, I can't listen to music either (except sometimes dancing to music can relieve stress, but not always)

Are you familiar with EE ? It is very effective for calming the nerves http://eiriu-eolas.org/online-version/

Yes, I'm doing almost every day, just start couple days ago (one week). Amazing, voice of Laura is so calming and in the another hand so demanding, so you don't have a choice, have to relax ;).
But since I'm doing breathing and meditation I feel more tense then usual. I want to do so many thing, read, play, sing, write, improving skills of cooking and yoga, but on the end of the day I feel like I didn't do nothing big, just usual stuff, that makes me feel so powerless and stupid. Maybe it is just depression because I'm processing some stuff.

But thanks for advice.

Just to be sure you know, the Betha (pronounced BaaHaaa) part should not be done more than twice a week, if you do it everyday, it could be why you feel more tense. The rest of the program is fine to do everyday.

I know what you mean about time. Sometimes it feels as if there is so little time that one can never do anything. There is a great quote from Ark that I can't find now, about how to deal with that, -perhaps someone else have it at hand?

Ok, thanks for info for Baa haa, I didn't know that. :)

For sleeping I'm using melatonin and works great, without that I have a very bad sleep.

For two weeks my 16hours every day job starts so probably then I will be so tired that I will not have time to be nervous ;).

Do you mean this one, from Arwenn's signature:
'FORGET "I should", forget it all. Replace it by "I LOVE TO DO ...." and skip completely the TIME issue. If you need five lives to accomplish what you WANT, let this be the first of those five. And then, without any "time obligation" or "should stressing" - start it. First step first. And ENJOY it. And LOVE yourself - take care of yourself.
This is the only thing that the Universe (God?) wants from you, I think.' Arkadiusz Jadczyk

Glad I could help :)
I hope it helps to only do the Betha part twice a week, so you can get some rest before starting to work 16hour days. There is much to do, but it is also important to be kind to one self and relax so the system don't break down. (when one breaks down, one can't do much, so it's a balance)

Dakota, have you heard Sufjan Stevens ?
I find his latest album "Carrie and Lowell" to be very calming.

Gaby, thank you very much for this. Very powerful lyrics and very powerful performance.

Yes, it is a WWII folk song.

"Dark is the Night (Тёмная ночь, lit. Dark Night) is a famous Russian song associated with the Great Patriotic War. It was originally performed by Mark Bernes in the 1943 war film Two Soldiers."

The original, here:

I'm used to a deep baritone voice like the one I posted above. I used to hear a version like that over and over again when I was a kid. I really really liked it.

It is really a beautiful song :flowers:
