What are you listening to?

Came across a musician named Joe Bonamassa; he was not listed in the search here that I could find. What was interesting is that he started playing blues at the age of five. He said of himself, in a later interview, that he was a kid with ADHD and i inferred that playing seemed to make all the difference for him as a medium of expression. At the age of twelve he had had a chance meeting playing with BB King. BB than took him on tour for a year and said of him, by the time he is twenty five, he will be like non other. Since, he seems to have played with many; Clapton et al., and has a pretty nice band that accompanies him. There are some old vintage clips of him as a kid you can look up and a tribute to BB King himself that he does.

The second part of this is by the blues singer, Beth Hart, who underwent some funks in life and ended up playing with Bonammasa on a European tour. Here are the two of them in Amsterdam playing and singing to Etta James's, 'I’d Rather Go Blind'.

They say 3's a charm Zak. Thanks. The duo with Mark Knopfler was beautiful too. I hope this is not noise. It's difficult not to say thanks sometimes. And I appreciate all the other shared posts here too. This is like a cornucopia of beautiful and interesting music even though we may have different tastes or preferences.

I'm glad that "sounds" beautiful for you Goyacobol. :)

There's this one too that i find pretty nice:

Hi all, this is one of the latest album of Megadeth.

What we are witnessing is the decline of western civilization
Crushing our potential and piling it on, how will history portray us?
Attack the family, attack their faith and dreams
Attack the body and the head will fall
A lasting legacy or ruin brought in haste?
The enemy of truth is lying there in state

Another day, another manufactured crisis keeping the people distracted
There's no one playing by the rules anymore, how will history portray us?
A broken backbone with nothing left to lose?
That hate the sight of all the ones that do?
A lasting legacy or ruin brought in haste?
The enemy of truth is lying there in state

A shiny new agenda, birthed from a depraved mind
Of failing us on purpose, to culturally sanitize
Its opiates for the masses under cloak as hope and change
The "new normal" or just more of the same?

The perfect plan
Must have an alibi
And the perfect pawn
To spew the party line
Of the perfect falsehood
Spoke a thousand times
The perfect words
Cover the greatest crime

Hell is turning itself inside out
To lead its path up to meet us
And we deliberately take
A step, one foot closer to the grave

Wow, I forgot about the Wailin Jenny's and how much I liked their songs. Her voice is very clear yet also not boring and slow. It's very warm, much like the instrumental stuff I like these days. Modern pop/rock doesn't cut it anymore!

Usually songs have half inaudible lyrics these days which annoys the &*(@ out of me, lol.

I've started using this plugin with spotify web player and youtube to see lyrics:

And for spotify web/youtube ads and spyware, they can be easily removed with the best ad blocker out there:

Divide By Zero and zak,

Thank you for the great music and the new lyrics tool. I just installed it in Firefox and thought I'd share the results for this song. The lyrics remind me of the support we share on the forum. :)

We Lived in each other pocket´s
We Lived in each other seams
We lived in the hope that someday
We would see our love redemmed
We took all the roads less travelled
We took the roads most would avoid
We could make each other feel so empty
Then we were there to fill the void
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
We lived in each other´s future Pocket - Ruth Moody - Mark Knopfler
We Lived in each other pocket´s
We Lived in each other seams
We lived in the hope that someday
We would see our love redemmed
We took all the roads less travelled
We took the roads most would avoid
We could make each other feel so empty
Then we were there to fill the void
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
We lived in each other´s future
We lived in each other´s dreams
We spoke of the future less and less
´Till a dream was all it seemed
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
Oh but how we dreamed, we would have died back then
We where young and we believed
As brothers will for brothers
And captains Know they cannot leave
But soon the courtain it came down us
Blame was laid and questions raised
And so like leaves we were all scattered
But in our hearts it never changed
We Lived in each other pocket´s
Whit the shadows and the shame
We held on for fear of loosing love
Just as quickly as this came
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
We lived in each other´s dreams
We spoke of the future less and less
´Till a dream was all it seemed
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
Oh but how we dreamed, we would have died back then
We where young and we believed
As brothers will for brothers
And captains Know they cannot leave
But soon the courtain it came down us
Blame was laid and questions raised
And so like leaves we were all scattered
But in our hearts it never changed
We Lived in each other pocket´s
Whit the shadows and the shame
We held on for fear of loosing love
Just as quickly as this came
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
And my Heart belonged
To all of you
(Gracias a Alejandro por esta letra)
