What are you listening to?

Beyond all that was said about him, how much joy he gave to so many generations with his wonderful music and eternal rock and roll. Although very old, I was able to fulfill my dream as a child to see it live in 2015. RIP Chuck Berry!

Now I was listening "La Juanda" from his great album "One dozen berrys" from 1958.

For anyone that has sleeping problems, today I found this very interesting article:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/music/classical-music/max-richter-sleep-eight-hour-lullaby/

Richter composed Sleep in consultation with the neuroscientist David Eagleman, who has written extensively about the purpose of sleep. "Max is doing a really cool experiment," says Eagleman. "For a long time people have wondered, 'Can you influence the brain through music and speech while you're asleep?' The answer is, 'Sort of '. You can't learn how to speak Chinese by playing tapes because, unfortunately, your brain needs to be paying attention, but there are ways to influence what's going on in the brain. We've all had the experience of an external sound influencing the content of dreams.

And some of his other works:

I've recently found these songs by Silvio Rodriguez and I think they are so beautiful

(These are very bad translations of the lyrics -translating poetry is kind of hard )

Silvio Rodriguez - El problema (The Problem)

The problem is not
whether you are looking for more problems or not
The problem is not
to be able to start over again
The problem is not
to live demonstrating
to one that demands you
and is begging
The problem is not
to repeat the yesterday
as a formula to be saved.
The problem is not about playing to give yourself.
The problem is not one of occasion
The problem, Sir
is still about sowing love.

The problem is not
who came and went or vice versa
The problem is not
of the children who flaunt fathers
The problem is not
who is accounting and re-counting
and to his pocket
adds up the remaining
The problem is not the global fashion
Nor that there is such a bad memory
The problem does not stay in the glory
or the lack of tenacity and perspiration
The problem, Sir
is still about sowing love.

The problem is not
to dive into dream abysses
because the present did not arrive
to the bleeding future of yesterday
The problem is not
that time judges to be lost
when there are youths
dreaming of deviations
The problem is not
to give an ax to the pain
and make firewood with everything and the palm
The vital problem is the soul
The problem is one of resurrection
The problem, Sir
will always be
to sow love

Silvio Rodriguez - Tocando fondo (Touching the bottom)

Touching the bottom I was born a good day,
I'm still touching the bottom.
Less beautiful than how I was,
Less hateful than otherwise.

I declare myself imperfect
kicking the umbrella.
I rather be open
than walk around announcing
that I am the wonder.

I publish myself as complete,
I detest myself as probable.
If one does not undress
all that is undress-able
becomes a challenge.

Touching the bottom, like singing,
is something deep, that is not waiting.
To not touch our truths hard
raises walls, rots capitals.

It may be inconvenient
or perhaps delirious.
I'm in so many ways
as people pretend
to just rate me.

Assuming our dominion
is to not dictate.
I publish myself as complete,
I hope myself as improvable
from my parliament
of sounding guitar.

Touching the bottom I was born a good day,
I'm still touching the bottom.

This is inspired by a remark Scottie made in the last session that "nobody is a nobody". The Beatles song Nowhere Man came to mind. Some of the lyrics are not exactly true for me now.
Like "The world is at your command" doesn't sit well for me since only STS wants to command but some of the surrounding lyrics still might apply FWIW.

4D STO might have at least a shot at balancing the "commanders" of the 3D world (whether 3D or 4D) to back off. :/ Hey, "nobody is a nobody"...
