What are you listening to?

It was just one hour TV show back in the nineties... I especially like style of Hayao Miyazaki's Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away just rock!

On that note just four words more: Maya the lil' bee 🥁

Pszczółka Maja - Intro - Zbigniew Wodecki [Polish version]

🙂

Yes, Hayao Miyazaki's work overall is very moving, Spirited Away was really interesting and one of the first anime I was introduced to. I haven't seen Ponyo or any other films of his though, I have the time to catchup now I suppose! I remember watching a documentary somewhere, and Miyazaki-san almost didn't want to team up with Disney to broadcast it in the West as he was against the MidEast-invasion. But I think, soon enough he agreed to allow Disney to distribute/broadcast the film. Money must have spoke up :/

Also, who IS this Maya the Bee character ?! Haha

"I'm not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship" - Aeschylus.

Ossian's recording of "I Will Set My Ship In Order" from the 1984 album Borders. A traditional song sometimes known as I Drew My Ship. The tune for the Ossian version was written by singer Tony Cuffe, to words from Ord's Bothy Songs and Ballads originally published in 1930, and this tune is taken up in Capercaillie's version on their album Choice Language.

SION - Koko made oide

English translation:

Come here
beside you crying
beside me getting down

dry wind is rolling
in damp people and the town
saying "come here"
dangling a bright feeling of giving up and a 'so-what' feeling

to like sadness
I am not crowded enough with people
I like a guy who is happy

on a TV a cat is yawning
above me thinking I'm on the edge
"come here" "does it matter"
"you try too hard" a cat is yawning

it can't be done anyway, so
I can do, anyway
I like a happy guy

beside you crying
beside me getting down
"come here" "or whatever"
"or it could be better" I hear the voice

to like sadness
I am not crowded enough with people
I like a guy who is happy

it can't be done anyway, so
I can do, anyway
I like a happy guy

beside you crying
beside me getting down
beside you crying
beside me getting down
beside you crying
beside me getting down

@LongCloud while we're on this mini music surge, allow me to introduce this couple. Chris Rodrigues and Abby the Spoon Lady....she learned to play the spoons in order to feed herself, while riding the rails...or train hopping....there's still a class of people who do this including street musicians. I find myself more and more supporting these independent artists since the industry has ruined many a performer.

I'm mesmerized by Abby's playing, she puts her whole body into it. 🥄
