What are you listening to?

Eric Clapton in a new song, a clear denounce to the current state of things.

Interesting part of the lyrics: If you wanna claim my soul You'll have to come and break down this door.

"This Has Gotta Stop"

This has gotta stop
Enough is enough
I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough
If you wanna claim my soul
You'll have to come and break down this door

I knew that something was going on wrong
When you started laying down the law

I can't move my hands
I break out in sweat
I wanna cry
Can't take it anymore

This has gotta stop
Enough is enough
I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough
If you wanna claim my soul
You'll have to come and break down this door

I've been around
Long long time
Seen it all
And I'm used to being free

I know who I am
Try to do what's right
So lock me up and throw away the key

This has gotta stop
Enough is enough
I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough
If you wanna claim my soul
You'll have to come and break down this door

Thinkin' of my kids
What's left for them
And then what's coming down the road

The light in the tunnel
Could be the southbound train
Lord, please help them with their load

This has gotta stop
Enough is enough
I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough
If you wanna claim my soul
You'll have to come and break down this door

This has gotta stop
Enough is enough
I can't take this BS any longer

It's gone far enough
If you wanna claim my soul
You'll have to come and break down this door

(This door)
(This door)
(This door)
(Break down this door)

(This door)
(This door)
(This door)
(Break down this door)

Paul Brady - "Unfinished Business"

It's another broken night
And I've wrestled till the dawn
With some old unfinished business
That insists on hanging on

Thought I'd put it all to rest
But as usual I'm wrong
Like the time I said goodbye to
The one that really was the one

Days go by
But memories have a longer life
Keep my heart pre-occupied
Show up in the strangest places

Now I'm lying here with you
And you ask what's on my mind
It's just some old unfinished business
From an unforgotten time

Now it isn't fair I know
To compare you to a dream
That will always be as perfect
As the love that should've been

Days go by
But memories have a longer life
Keep my heart pre-occupied
Show up in the strangest places

Now I'm lying here with you
And you ask what's on my mind
It's just some old unfinished business
From an unforgotten time

Days go by
Days go by
Days go by

Billy Strings - "In The Morning Light"
Billy Strings | On Tour Now

So in the morning when I see her in the light
She comes through to me in any kind of weather
And I know I'll never see a brighter day when she smiles with her eyes
Even with a clouded heart chocked full of doubt
She can sing away the worry of rejection
She's a wonder to behold I'll lover her
Till I'm growing old and that's the plan

But if I could find more that's worthy
I'd surrender it all
I'm not sure that I deserve the love that I receive
But I give it all to her

Captivating when she moves across the floor
I remember what it is I came here for
And it seems so easy now
I can't believe it but somehow, I made her mine
And every now and then the past will ring a bell
And I'm not looking back I'm only moving forward
If I knew then what I do now
I wouldn't be here anyhow, but it's been clear

But if I could find more that's worthy
I'd surrender it all
I'm not sure that I deserve the love that I receive
But I give it all to her

So if I come to some conclusion by tonight
I'll be free from all the sorrow I've been drinking
Swear I'll never let her down
I couldn't bear to hear the sound of her steps leaving
And in the evening when the sun is running low
I'll walk bravely through the fields of burning ember
And I'll remember everything she said to me back
When our love was first in bloom

But if I could find more that's worthy
I'd surrender it all
All the praise that I could earn
Means nothing without hers
Not sure that I deserve, all the love that I receive
But I give it all to her

For all you invisibles, men and women, out there

the invisible man sees a sun in the morning
[this is another day]
and he knows he exists from the shadow he’s forming
[sun don’t go away]
and off to the west he sees storm clouds coming
[clouds will block the sun]
his shadow is fading there’s no use in running
[rains on everyone]

he says it’s hard to live free
full of light in a dark world that no one can see
lord above, take his hand
leave some room in your heart for the invisible man

now he’s out in the back yard, the rain pouring down
with his head tilted back, is he trying to drown?
well his eyes are closed but his heart’s open wide
take in more of this sweet world he needs deep inside

yeah, it’s hard to live free
full of light in a dark world that no one can see
lord above, take his hand
leave some room in your hear for the invisible man

the invisible man is now shaking with laughter
he heard a tv sermon about the hereafter
and he pictures a heaven of unseen souls
and the form of this one man that n0body knows

yes it’s hard to live free
full of light in a dark world that no one can see
lord above, take his hand
leave some room in your heart for the invisible man

Alice Coltrane - Nataraja (Glorious Chants)

Charanam (Turiya Sings)

Er Ra (Divine Songs)

I love these four albums of hers: Turiya Sings, Divine Songs, Infinite Chants and Glorious Chants.. Based on Vedic chants, some solo, some with choir... sung with organ/harp/strings/synthesizer accompaniment. My favourite song is Radhe Govinda from Infinite Chants, but that's not on youtube.

I got the album a few years ago, and i hasardously felt on it recently, re-listen to it and ... well, it vibes well with me at this moment, 3rd time i'm re-listening to it while working. This is the album released by the french group Daft Punk for the remake of the Tron movie "Tron Legacy". this is almost only instrumental, and it's ... wazaaa, great !
Enjoy !
