What are you listening to?

Sweet child in time, you'll see the line
Line that's drawn between the good and the bad
See the blind man shooting at the world
Bullets flying, ooh taking toll
If you've been bad - Oh Lord I bet you have
And you've not been hit oh by flying lead
You'd better close your eyes, aahaouho bow your head
Wait for the ricochet

I've been listening to the Sovereign's Piper, Paul Burns, playing for Queen Elizabeth's funeral. The two times he played that day were absolutely immaculate. I play bagpipes myself and this is possibly the biggest audience ever exposed to this music at one time.

This is him playing "Sleep, Dearie, Sleep" at Westminster Abbey -

This is at Windsor Castle. He is playing a slow air called "A Salute to the Royal Fendersmith" -

Below is a link to an article on Pipes|Drums website about the event:

Todd Rundgren is not someone I would think about for a song called Healing (Pt 1) but I just found this and it seems like we might need healing during these chaotic times. Some comments indicate it has been played for dying family members and at funerals but it may soothe the living as well I suppose (not sure about the all seeing eye at the end but "His eye is on the sparrow").

I liked the sax in there too. Sax is an instrument I have always enjoyed and I wish I had "time" to learn to play one.
I really like Earl Klugh too. He is originally from Detroit Michigan. You are one of the few I know who even has heard of him.

Can't help but throw in another Earl Klug song, "Wishful Thinking".

Listening to Frusciante this afternoon. This track is called Central. about the soul, centring yourself. He's a one-off that's for sure. Last post on this bloke, love his work though.
