yep... It's a very old nickname, which I inherited when I was part of the LAN party scene, most certainly because of my polish roots.

That's certainly the case. Remember that, in 2007, Trent Reznor dedicated a WHOLE concept album to a (not so) imaginary police state established in the US, Year Zero. Even if the band name has changed, his concerns may have remained the same.
