What are you listening to?

I am amazed to see this song posted!! Yesterday I was telling my friend that the first 45 record I ever bought was "Dizzy" by Tommy Roe. I had to find it online and play it for her. Such an amazing coincidence (there are no coincidences, lol).
Thank you!!!

I often wonder how youtube serves up recommendations - if viewing habits are related in various ways... But its great to find old favorites nevertheless.
I thought it intriguing that Robin Mary Paris was featured, as I never heard of her. Must have been a TV series. Great dancing!

I've never heard of her either. All we had back then was radio or records, so we didn't really know what anybody looked like, lol.
My taste in music is so eclectic I think YouTube is almost intimidated in giving me recommendations. What does show up though is stuff that is relative to at least one of every genre I watch.
Yeah that's right YouTube...the word of the day is 'unpredictable'. lol

This is probably my favorite song at the moment. You can't realistically feel worse after listening to it:

Andre Antunes - This African song only needed a little METAL:

I was looking for scaling down in a miminalist or life hack context, but this song came up and I liked it:

Rising Appalacia - Scale down:

I was looking into accordion music and found the Bandoneon, which I prefer the sound of. This was a nice calming song with one and a violin:

Åsbjørg Ryeng - Nada - violin and bandoneón duo:

Soul II Soul - Back To Life

Great song! Came across a tweet just the other week about how the lyrics were inspired by a near death experience:
Wikipedia said:
This song is said by its writer and singer, Caron Wheeler, to have been written about a near death experience in which she nearly passed on but was sent "back to life" to fulfill the rest of her mission on Earth saying,
“Back to Life" came about from my own pain and I nearly died... I nearly died and literally came back to life and I was mad, because where I had gone in between that was so wonderful... but I basically didn't pass over at that point... I was mad, I was like, "Why do you want me here? However do you want me? What do you need from me?" You know, I was talking to my creator, but it sounds like a party song on the record…”
