What's the weather where you are?

And last two days in a place where I live in Gostivar, Macedonia it was 46C. It was like a hell outside. Today it is little lower and from tomorrow it will be way cooler as the forecasts say.

On the Côte d'Azur in France after a day with very strong winds, the sun shines this morning in a beautiful sky without cloud, 20 ° to 7h ...
This is the first time I do not have air conditioning or fan ...
Still no rain ...

Smoke in the valley's of BC continues; its always there, morning day and night - please send rain (not too much, yet just enough) please!

The rain finally arrived just as SoTT's 'The Truth Perspective' started today; what a relief. :flowers:

Temperature has dropped for a square dozen degrees in Split, Dalmazzia (THANK YOU Ms Boorah). Yesterday was overcast till afternoon when sun emerged so i departed for the Urchin beach. There i observed some serious clouds high in the skies, colluding above in layers in different directions and seen some precipitations falling close to the city limits (somewhere around me current locator). While returning home i noticed that streets are wet there in northern suburbia and felt like entering a refrigerator suddenly from warmer southern parts of city. Today i was told that there also was some minor hail. Today we enjoy a chilin' Boorah's effect and breathing deeply with full lungs. For tomorrow Boorah is forecasted too

Last week temperature dropped as low as 7 C in Northern Spain. It was cold!

I've seen three dust devils while driving as well. They were small, but nonetheless impressive.

The weather in the north of New Zealand is weird. It has been raining almost continuously since April, not quite but it seems like it. We have spring bulbs which have been flowering since April (Autumn). The grass needs a bit of moisture and 15 degrees Celsius to grow, which normally does not happen in winter, yet this year the grass just keeps on growing - right through winter. I usually have a 6 month period where the lawn does not need mowing, but not this year. Problem is that the ground is too wet for the mower.

Around the country there have been ongoing flooding and major ground slips, cutting off regions as highways need to be cleared and rail tracks restored. Place are flooding 3 and 4 times this year when in the past it might have been once every 3 or 4 years.

Other than that, all quite normal. :halo:

After the cooling rains as was stated above, temps this morning were not greater than 4C. - fireplace weather in mid August. Not far from here in Southern BC at 8,500 ft it was 0 Celsius - ice on the puddles. Above that level between 9,500 ft and 11,000 ft, there was fresh snow that burnt off during the day. Next seven days forecast shows little rain and temps mid twenties - seasonable.

Considering there are 2 more weeks of winter to go, here in the Northern Rivers of Australia we had 29 degrees today, there's been very little rain for a few weeks. There's no rain on the horizon either but the temperatures will drop to the low 20's for the next few days.

Several parts of the Netherlands received half a month worth of rain in 24 hours yesterday, 1.5 - 2.3 inches (40 - 60 mm):

Yesterday, before sunrise the temp. clocked in at 13*C (56*F). This morning it dropped to 7*C (46*F).

Last week this area went through a number of brief but energy packed lightning and thunder storms.

With one particular system developing which felt more like a tropical storm. With gale forced winds moving in all directions.

This system also was accompanied by very loud thunderclaps rolling through the valley, with bright displays of lightning. Which turned night into day (with a brusque visual of blue sky). Thus causing the street lamps (light/dark activating circuit), to turn off monetarily.

Temperature in Spalato, Dalmazzia dropped for a dozen degrees after weekend raining and thundering. Most intense storm took place over night on Saturday. But we fared quite well - Istria an Kvarner were almost washed away. In The city of Pag it was racorded 154 mm of rain in 24 hours :scared: -i think that means 154 liters per square meter  - luckily it is placed on the island of Pag...

The guy who took a picture of shelf cloud in Croatia - Sandro Puncet - had another "click dunk" with his camera near Mali Lošinj. where he photographed two light bolts and five waterspouts in single cadre...

Winter is still hanging on in Northern NSW, Australia. No sign of much needed rain, temps top out at 16C where I am with frosts forecast for the rest of the week.

Winds are southerly, coming off a big cold snap bringing snow in the South.

Amazing photos - just like "The Day After Tomorrow". And it's happening more and more often!!!

Hurricane Irma is still 3 days away from hitting Florida. It is expected to hit the southern tip of Florida Sunday morning and afternoon. Today's 5:00 PM advisory is showing it to veer towards the east coast of Florida. I am in southwest Florida.

Stores in my area have been out of bottled water since yesterday (Tuesday) and there is no bottled water to be found anywhere in my area.

I went to the grocery store this morning to get groceries and stock up on water. The workers at the store told me people were lined up early before the store opened and bought out the seven pallets of water that were delivered in the wee hours of the morning.

I asked if more water would be coming and was told that yes a truck is expected but no one knew what time the delivery would come. I asked four different workers around the store as I shopped and got the same story from all.

I have been calling and checking all day today with the 3 grocery stores near me if delivery of water has been made. Nothing. And still no one knows when more will come. Costco, Walmart are all out.

Guess I'll be drinking tap water! Yuk.

And I heard throughout the day today from several people there is no gasoline.

And the storm is still 3 full days away!
