Do you know any effective treatment for Hepatitis B and Liver cirrhosis, perhaps something that might not be popularized or currently supported by the mainstream medical community for some reason? If so, could you suggest anything? :)

Btw did you ever write in any thread about how your trip to europe went?

You might try research on Milk thistle for liver cirrhosis.

I do research and clerical support for a small company. Thanks to the hamstringing legistlation of HIPPA, that's all I'm allowed to say.

Gimpy
HIPPA only benefits the insurance companies
don't let the rhetoric fool you

I'm musician (songwriter, singer, pianist, guitarist). I've had many bands(mainly Symphnonic/Progresive Rock and metal genres) , though no money came from it yet.

I also taught english language (private classes), I did flyers distribution for a dental care company, and telemarketing(this last sucked), and sometimes I help (non-profit) a friend who have a radio program, when he needs interpreter for interviews with foreign english-speaker people (mostly european and american (some famous, some not)musicians).

Now I'm unemployed, and I am looking for a job as soon as possible.

Does anyboby have any suggestion about how to get a job? The traditional ways of looking for a job are not working(at least for me). And musicians in my country are not respected (neither paid)as professionals except if they are famous and appear on TV (no matter if they are good or bad musicians).

This is part of the lesson of survival, and it seems I didn't learn`t that one yet.

David Okuniev is doing some interesting stuff musically and visually. (http://okuniev.com/) Give him a try. He has some interesting projects going on.
I met David taking some web design classes. He is living in Bogota (Colombia) currently so you can most likely communicate in Spanish with him.
Mention that Dominique (whom he met at AcademyX) sent you his way. (his skype name is "dokuniev")

Can you please explain what you mean by "traditional ways of looking for a job"? Do you mean networking or something else?

I would suggest you get a professional website (with portfolio, bio, resume, etc), some business cards and a cellphone/landline/Skype (whichever is most feasible). I am kind of shy on the phone, but once I put my mind to it I have been surprised of the results of calling and talking to somebody with no expectation but just the will to make that phone call.

I think maybe your job search is better suited for a new thread.

Best of luck.
Dominique.

I used to be an export manager. I quit and after some some odds and ends which did not work, doing translations from home (turkish to english and vice versa). Oh god at last I don't have to go to an office everyday. What a relief !

Thankyou very much Dominique !!!!! :)

I will try it.

Right now I'm a university student. I've got degrees in Science (physics major) and Communication (media studies, screen production). I'm now studying Climatology. Next year I hope to become a trainee Meteorologist.

Full time doctoral student/behavioral neuroscientist. Most of my time is spent investigating the neurotoxic and neuroprotective interactions between exogenous chemicals (usually the addictive kind) and sex steroid hormones.

I do a bit (well, as much as i can get) of freelance "sound engineering" work - as in recording and mixing peoples' music - as well as making my own music..... Not yet making enough money with that to support myself though, so I've started a multimedia arts course at uni, getting into video production, web design etc...

I like making stuff, basically. Especially sound. I want to do lots of recording and filmmaking with local artists, and I want to get back into playing live music (most of the stuff i've been doing is on computer) and get brave enough to sing in front of people :) I also want to get into teaching music tech.
