Will the Internet be shut down by the PTB?

The examples show that the technology is in place to lock out websites.

Yes, they can block ip-addresses by interfering with the BGP 4 protocol on exchange point routers. I did see a whitepaper for this about 20 year ago when working for a Carrier. ISPs (internet Providers) are forced to peer with a government BGP 4 servers which holds a black-list. A black listed ip addresses route will then be pointing to a "NULL route" or similar.

This article develop the idea of the PTB not shutting down the Internet per se, but establishing an Internet Passports. This would effectively fit the total control agenda.

Extract:
The final leg of the technological program to control humanity is the Big Tech giants working together to scrub all dissident voices from the Internet. Their ultimate goal is to create a system where all users have an Internet passport, subject to periodic review of your online activity.

The Big Tech giants have already said they actively share information in an effort to crack down on “white supremacists” under the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism, a body previously reserved for targeting the Taliban and al-Qaeda.

PayPal announced it will be working with the notoriously Marxist Anti-Defamation League to scour the Internet, looking for “extremists” and “anti-government” voices in order to shut off their PayPal donation buttons.

Under this Chinese-style social scoring system, those guilty of online infractions get publicly shamed and silenced. Information collectors are paid to snitch on their neighbors and family members. Once your social credit score dips below a certain level, you become so discredited that it gets tougher and tougher to find a job, travel by plane, train, bus or car, get loans or put your kids in the better schools.

Those providing counter-narrative information will be flagged, given a warning, and eventually blocked as disseminators of “disinformation.”

You lose your freedom of speech, but that’s not all.

In today’s society, being removed from the Internet means you won’t be able to buy or sell online or work a job that requires an internet connection.

So the health passports, currently being rolled out worldwide, will block you from in-person shopping for food and necessities while the coming Internet passport will block you from ordering your necessities online. You will essentially be left with the black market, assuming one will spring up for those deemed “unclean” and “unfit” for the modern world because of their dissident views.

All of these technologies will merge at the intersection of Big Data, big banks, Big Tech and big government. Your social credit score will now be tied in not only to your Internet activity but to your bank account and your vaccine status. Welcome to the Great Reset, a/k/a New World Order.

Add in advances in AI and facial recognition and millions of surveillance cameras and you are talking about a lockdown slave state that makes George Orwell’s 1984 look like a picnic in the park.

But don’t complain. It’s all “for our safety.”

Another person develop the idea of the Internet passport coming :

[...]

It's been happening all over the place, there is a common theme, these are preparation attacks.

We believe there's going to be a... basically internet shutdown event where such structural cyber attacks will happen that for most of the planet the internet will be turned off and we won't have access to 80 90 % of all the services because everything now is internet based.

Now this won't be a coincidental event, this will be a planned event and there's a particular reason, the plan is to completely restructure how we use the internet. It has been tried before but countries, up until now, have fought against too much control on internet, and they have fought off the idea of something called a digital citizenship where every human being that wants to access the internet needs to have a digital passport, a digital citizenship.

Because the internet is going to be considered as the largest country, a digital country if you will.
A digital entity, and if you want to enter that entity you will have to have a digital passport and you will have to give your credentials and so all your movements, from as much as they're already tracked now, they will be then tracked by a centralized power which will have the name of like "The world internet federation association" or the "World internet council", something like that.

And they will then be the central government figure if you will, because everything is happening in and on the internet, and so the plan is to bring the current internet down and to show that it's too vulnerable, that it's too accessible to bad actors, that it's too much of a threat to keep it as open as it is, and that we need to establish stricter rules to how and who can access the internet. And so that's what they're going to try to bring in.

If globally, because they depend on it, they will not shut down the Internet, look like locally or in part, it's not totally exclude.

These Countries Have an INTERNET KILL SWITCH (and They Admit It)

What do you suppose would happen if the President of the United States deemed it necessary, for “national security,” to flip the Internet Kill Switch? In these digital times, there should be great concern over something like this. However, normalcy bias seems to have a firm hold on a majority of the citizens of the US, and many are clinging to the “it can’t happen here” theory.

The United States has yet to employ this particular tool. However, according to data gathered to examine the financial impact of internet shutdowns, since 2019, there have been 237 major internet shutdowns in 45 countries. [source]

What is an internet kill switch?

An internet kill switch is a device/software/configuration that allows one to shut down all internet access within a region or country indefinitely. If activated, the kill switch would prevent everyone from checking social media, shopping online, using online messenger services, sending emails, or anything else involving an internet connection.

In many cases, this may also include any form of phone contact (it varies).

Which countries have already used the internet kill switch?

Hackers have the ability to down the entire internet system, as we have seen with op article and op article. However, governments around the globe have also resorted to shutdowns, claiming it to be necessary for public safety. For example, India (a democratic nation) was the global leader in shutdowns in 2019, with over 150 in 3 years. [source]

See if you spot the recurring theme among the following shutdowns:

Cuba
On July 11, Cuban citizens rallied in the streets to protest food and medicine shortages and electricity outages. Within two days, the Cuban government began restricting internet access.

China
Back in 2009, riots broke out in Xinjiang. The communists responded by shutting down the internet to the region for an entire year. [source]

Egypt
Amid protests, Egypt’s President Hosni Mubarak cut off nearly all internet access and shut down all cell phone services. The shutdown lasted for five days. [source]

Iran
November 16, 2019, Iran authorities flipped the switch, plunging citizens into digital darkness for nearly 11 days. According to an Amnesty International press release, the deliberate shutdown was an attempt to hide the horrendous killings across the country.

Zimbabwe
In 2019, President Mnangagwa announced a fuel price increase. Protests against the increase caused Mnangagwa to shut down the internet. Critics called the shutdown “an attempt to hide growing reports of a violent crackdown on protests.” [source]

South Sudan
Protests? We can fix that with an internet shutdown. [source]

Zambia
Election day, 2021, warranted shutting down many social media platforms and some messaging apps. Although the Zambian government denied the reports Secretary, Amos Malupenga mentioned there would be no hesitation to take appropriate measures. [source]

Colombia
Colombia’s government used this innovative means of stopping protests here in May 2021 – an internet shut down. [source]
The Republic of the Congo

Another election day shutdown in 2021. This time in The Republic of the Congo. [source]
Armenia

Political unrest led to an internet shutdown here. [source]
Russia

I think mentioning the word ‘elections’ regarding Russia is enough to make anybody laugh. Have a pesky election-tracking app you need shut down? A partial internet shutdown can do the trick. [source]
Myanmar

Coup underway? Better shut off the internet. [source]

Ethiopia
Ethiopia’s government shut down the internet 12 times before blacking out the country for nearly 16 days in 2020. Reports said this was an attempt to muzzle activists demanding justice for the killing of a beloved musician. [source]

Does the United States have an internet kill switch?

Technically, yes.

Under an entirely unconstitutional 1930s law on the books: 47 USC 606: War Powers of President; Chapter 5, Subchapter VI, the President has the authority to wield that mighty weapon.

Sometime the cloud can evaporate and easly disable 30.000 websites at once.

After Twitter posts and YouTube videos, sites that don't promote the narratives the PTB approve start to be shut down or more exactly, made invisible by removing them from the DNS.

In the near future AI will be used to monitor emerging terrorist or harmful narrative.

Will the Internet as We Know It Disappear in the Next Year?

Story at a glance:
  • Choosing between Hamas and the Israeli Defense Forces is a false choice. The side we should be on is the side of innocent civilians, regardless of where they live. Only by being against war will we stand against the correct enemy because, ultimately, most if not all wars are fought for the benefit of central bankers and their globalist allies
  • Those who side with warmongers choose enslavement and the destruction of mankind, as the sabre rattling in the Middle East is a tool to further centralize power and control over the global population
  • The next action item in the globalist takeover includes a cyberattack on the banks before the end of next year. The cyberattack will destroy the current banking system and usher in programmable central bank digital currencies and eliminate privacy online, requiring everyone to have a digital identification tied to their ISP
  • All online activity will be surveilled and analyzed by artificial intelligence, and the data used to prevent crime before it happens. Thought-crimes will also have ramifications, potentially resulting in the seizure of private property and/or removal of “privileges” previously understood as human rights
  • Everyone must now choose between enslavement or freedom. Not making a conscious choice is itself a choice. If you choose freedom, you need to make plans for how to exist outside the slave system being put into place and support Big Tech alternatives that offer complete privacy
