George Floyd's Death, Protests and Riots across the US

Teen Filmed Shooting Rioters In Self-Defense Charged With First-Degree Murder
Kyle Rittenhouse, 17, was reportedly arrested at his home in Antioch, Illinois on Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder for shooting three rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin who were filmed violently attacking him on Tuesday night.
A remarkable compilation video shared on Twitter shows exactly how the shootings went down:
Viewer advisory: Graphic violence

He clearly acted in self defence. While it may be tempting for officials to appease the mob, it's a short-term solution with long-term ramifications.

Have a look. First degree murder? Hell no, he acted in self-defence. If civil war breaks out they should free this kid out of prison. No justice no peace.

Two dead, one injured on the streets of Kenosha as dramatic videos capture gunman shooting at BLM protesters during clashes with militias guarding gas stations after wave of looting

More video and stills. A couple of notable stills:
  • A person can clearly be seen attacking the shooter with a skateboard while the shooter is on the ground. The attacker was then shot in the chest and died.
  • The person that was shot in the arm can be seen later — still holding a pistol.

Laws don't mean much without civility. And in most of these case where police end up shooting someone, it is because their authority isn't respected. And it seems to be a opportunity with every black/law enforcement incident that the victim exploits the law enforcements civility. And why? Because they only think of rights - civility be damned. And civility they see as a weakness, and resist, imperiling the laws duty to keep the peace.

Then, you see on a video some black basketball hero, or the parents of the shooting victim, completely oblivious to the victims part of the incident, along with their attorney with only
'rights' and a legal claim in mind. No mention of civility. Civility matters.

A citizen should be aware of law enforcements role in society. And it is common sense to understand this. Cops carry guns. They arrest people. They encounter many dangers in the line of duty. And they are trained to be respectful, and are scrutinized for every violent encounter. They are also deadly if that is necessary.

So, to resist and not cooperate as seems to be the case, is as bad a offense, and disregards civility so that 'rights' are all that matter. And its reckless, and tempts fate. Now that these people understand their rights, they need to understand civility. I'm sure they do already, but no one is telling them to act civilized. It will probably make their civil rights leaders and attorneys very mad.

Most people, whether they get a speeding ticket or whatever involves police, respect their authority. They may not like the police, but respect what they do, knowing it would be futile to resist. But these incidents that always escalate involves blacks who seem to have no conscious connection to civility - they get killed, and everyone surrounding the issue ignores that the victims were uncivil, yet they demand justice! Shouting about rights.

Our civility is being exploited as is always the case. But it is so blatant, in your face, and propagated, combined with black oppression sympathies, we are left to just behold the spectacle.

So, it is not law and order at fault - for the most part. It is incivility. And if no one tells them: 'That's uncivilized' they might go on thinking that rights are the only issue. And that's probably what the civil rights leaders want for them. To be hypocritical pawns in their game of conquest.

It's looking like the Dems are losing ground as the Riots are exposing their underbelly and antagonist motives.

The Republican convention is being covered by C-Span just as the Democratic convention was.

C-Span had people calling in to talk about the convention. We covered one of those calls last night from a man who said he was a lifelong Democrat but would now be voting for Trump.

But there was another call that just says everything for the millions of Americans watching the insane anarchy that has been going on in cities around the country.

The woman caller was from Minnesota not far from where there had been rioting. It was clear that she felt abandoned by her own party when looking at the Democratic convention which embraced the BLM spoke persistently about the “peaceful protesters” and didn’t speak to any of the concerns she had about safety or recovering the economy after the disaster in her area from both the pandemic and the riots.

It wasn’t until she heard the Republican convention that she began to feel that there might be hope that someone would care about their concerns.
"This convention just in the last two nights has awakened me that there is hope," says a Minnesota Democrat with anguish in her voice.

“Not a mention” about the riots, the woman said, at the Democratic convention, nothing about “rebuilding our businesses.” The Republican convention “has awakened me,” she said emotionally, “that there is hope, that there are people, willing to fight for us people, in our communities.” The reporter asked her if she was frightened, to which she replied, “Absolutely!”

Here’s a little bit of the story she was referencing at the end about the Democratic politician, John Thompson who went to a Hugo, MN suburb with a BLM crowd and threatened the neighborhood because a police official lived there.

Warning for language.
“Y’all laughing like we won’t burn this city down mother f—ker… We’re coming.”

The woman who called into C-Span not only sees Democrats not speaking up but actually being involved with this kind of behavior. Meanwhile the Republican convention addressed the question and said the madness should be stopped and they would work to stop it. They also talked about bringing businesses back and building the economy as well. This woman is a Democrat but it’s pretty clear that she wouldn’t be voting for a Democrat come this November.

This is what millions of Americans are seeing and this has many moving to vote for the president even people who say they never could have conceived of voting for him, who maybe hated him six months ago, because they see he gets the problem, while Democrats are insane, embracing it and still calling it “peaceful protest.”

But they helped start this nonsense, stoking it when it started and suggesting it was justified. But they can’t run away from the disaster they contributed to.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson received immediate backlash on Twitter after saying Kyle Rittenhouse, who was arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide for the shootings of two protesters in Kenosha, Wis., “decided to maintain order when no one else would.”

“Are we really surprised this looting and arson accelerated to murder? How shocked are we that 17-year-olds with rifles decided they had to maintain order when no one else would? Everyone can see what was happening in Kenosha. It was getting crazier by the hour,” Carlson said on his show.

Video from Carlson’s Wednesday night Fox News broadcast went viral on Twitter, with many people speaking out against his comments and saying he should be fired.

John Cusack and Craig Mazin tweeted at several of the sponsors of Carlson’s show, saying that they should be boycotted unless they cut ties with the Fox News host.

“So @SurePayroll advertises on Tucker? Guess I know what I’m doing tonight. Shifting my payroll to another company that doesn’t support total f—ing assholes,” Mazin tweeted, while Cusack called out Disney, Hulu, Amazon, Sandals Resorts and Tivity Health.

Carlson’s comments came after NBA players boycotted their playoff games on Wednesday night, following the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha over the weekend and several nights of protests.

Blake was shot seven times by a police officer on Sunday, leaving him paralyzed. Protests in several major cities against police violence have taken place this week. On Tuesday night, two people were shot and killed in Kenosha during the third night of unrest following the shooting. Rittenhouse was arrested and charged on Wednesday.

Asked for comment, a Fox News spokesperson referred to a tweet by Carlson:

Skip Down (tweets)

The controversy is the latest for the Fox News host, who is a frequent critic of the Black Lives Matter movement. Last month, he took a leave of absence from the show after one of his top writers resigned after making racist and misogynistic posts online.

Other celebrities said Carlson was “advocating for murder” and “inciting violence” on air.

Israels useful idiots.

According to Conservative Twins/Hodgetwins there were outstanding warrants for Jacob Blake's arrest (see c.a.'s post directly above), including sexual assault of a minor, although the article on SOTT only mentions 3rd degree sexual assault :

They demolish Black Lebron James's (who has 3 NBA titles) fearmongering reaction to the shooting of Blake who apparently tried to jump into his car and escape while his children were present, endangering his own kids. The twins explain how hard it is for the police to arrest and handcuff someone if that person is resisting arrest and they did try to take him to the ground first, but Blake shook them off. In commenting on Blake's victimhood James is making excuses for violent individuals, so nothing new there.

The twins worked as security guards (?), so they know what they are talking about. They also discuss the deaths of 'hundreds' of police officers - "more than black and white people combined".

Good point. Even the greatest adversaries among the people can find each other in this.
As soon as civility is dropped, because the subjects are deemed incapable, junkies, terrorists etc, society, everybody loses.
It is is where the normal people and the psychopaths differ in style.
But i don't agree that government is innocent here. Gov and press are leading.

Good lord, things are just getting worse in US 😔 And I have to agree, there is so much political polarisation that no matter who wins the election there is the possibility of things getting very ugly. It’s distressing to watch video after video of all this senseless harm and destruction. BTW @Nucifera, thank you for posting the advisory caution for graphic content, having the heads up is much appreciated.
