2020 US Election - Let The Games Begin!

Trump pinned this video to his twitter:
One wonders if "Caesar" is rallying his legions to face down Pompey. How coincidental one of the snakes in Trump's inner circle is named Pompeo...
Speaking of... as per Trump's tweets, which I posted earlier, this is now a trend on Twitter:

Trump contradicts Pompeo and downplays Russia-linked cyberattack on US

I'm wondering whether it isn't more of a NeoCon thing to bring in Russia, and if so, why that is exactly.

Hi @seek10. Your account of the absurd new requirements gumming up the works at your job due to the hacking scare reminds me of how people like Catherine Austin Fitts, who have a great deal to say about how A.I. aims to take over our lives, would seem to be a bit premature relative to how things actually work down here on the ground. I mean, she may be right on target with her prognostications, only she's maybe a few years in advance of where things actually are in the "real world."

The U.S. doesn't even have an advanced train system -- but the idea of self-running trains I'm sure is in the works. There's something almost comical in the aspirations of A.I. -- again, given the nuts and bolts of how things really get done. Not that it isn't important to understand its ultimate objectives. But we should also remember that controlling an entire population isn't as easy as they may want us to believe -- those of us aware enough to be tracking such things. If you can't proficiently solve even the simplest of problems -- as Seek10's hacking example demonstrates -- how are you going to succeed in mastering the control of each detail of human existence? There is a lot of hubris there, no doubt. Not that we should let our guard down or anything. Still, there are some serious "real world" hurdles for these "grandiose" planners.
They never worked before and will never work in future, if one expects 100%. Human experience is complicated and there will always be exceptions. They can put high % and declare it as safe or ultimate truth and push it to acceptance. They use media (experts, religious leaders etc.) to promote oligarchy's agenda to coverup the mishaps. Ultimately it is the common people who suffer and they don't care. "Caring for people" is only for acceptance of their products.

Something else to consider, @Jones, related to Martial Law is that the left is already imposing it without stating as much through the use of Covid-19 -- quarantine, mandatory masks, mandatory vaccination, etc., "defund the police" and funding of BLM & Atifa -- through which we see the eroding of private property rights, even just plain "civil" rights, etc.
Oh yeah! We're already under Martial Law! How are things going to change, except in name?

Perhaps under formal martial law in the US, BLM and Antifa would fare considerably less well. As is, they seem to be facilitated under the de facto martial law in place now. Maybe the far right (Proud Boys, etc.) would be more likely to stand down and let the military take care of things — not that those groups have been very active compared to the leftists. I'm just speculating.

While not capturing big headlines right now, BLM/Antifa are still busy in places. In Portland, the mayor has put severe restrictions on what the police can do. When they do arrest BLM/Antifa people, the DA just lets them go (hey, it's just a little assault, battery, vandalism, and arson). Meanwhile, the governor is enforcing an overly aggressive lock-down on regular people and businesses.

With all that in mind, maybe martial law would bring a little interesting variety to the mix. Not that I'm asking for it.

Well, in response to an alleged leak that Trump is considering using Marshal Law to reverse the election (#TrumpTreason has been trending on Twitter as a result), Trump had this to say:

Does this tweet mean that Trump is going to do the opposite?

Depends on what happens on 6 Jan. Martial law right now is uncalled for since this should always be the last resort. The truth of the matter is that there are still other options to explore.

On 6 Jan the GOP electors from seven states may certify their points to Trump. If not, martial law and a revote in those states is the next and last possible option. OSIT.

Martial law right now is uncalled for
Yes, certainly, but if January 6 fails, wouldn't Trump, if so narcissistic, purely for self-serving reasons, pull out all the stops to save himself and his family from the prosecution that probably awaits him if Biden becomes president? I don't see him making some kind of deal to escape it, especially because prosecution (doesn't matter for what) has already been threatened by officials, and is loudly demanded by so many rank & file Dem voters, amplified by MSM.
