2020 US Election - Let The Games Begin!

When you look at this graphic and you see at the end what it says :

“Ruler loses mandate of heaven”

If a king ruled unfairly he could lose this approval, which would result in his downfall. Overthrow, natural disasters, and famine were taken as a sign that the ruler had lost the Mandate of Heaven.

It can't be Trump who will be elected and who will lead unjustly, but it can be Biden...Alas.

The c's have said that there will be natural disasters, famine ... etc...

My 2 cents

He might have support from the rank and file, but even that is nowhere near 100% Having control over the military as a whole is a ridiculous proposition. It’s called the military-industrial complex for a reason and no one has ultimate power over this behemoth, least of all Trump.
Who said he needs "ultimate power" over the military or 100% support to fight back? That's just silly. And I'm not saying he will, but geez, would you settle for anything less than 100% support or ultimate power over the military to be able to push back?

Implications of second impeachment of President Trump

Scholar Didi Kuo from the Stanford Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law spoke to Mornings on 2 on Sunday about the short term and long term implications of the Trump presidency on the Republican Party and Washington overall.
'Name That Tune' Debuts

I'd say that's a part of it, and self-absorbed righteous indignation that the "rabble" would dare to set foot in, let alone disrupt, THEIR house, plus, of course, a deep-seated hatred for Trump because of the threat he posed to their privileged positions and grandiosity and what he represents: populism, i.e. actual democracy. They want to remove him from existence, and that kind of STS mindset is shared by a lot of people.
In everything that happens in the media, what we see is only the result of what happens behind the scenes.

All the confusion with "Banning the application" "There has never actually been any 'freedom of speech', how many times has someone 'committed suicide' trying to pass on information? etc.

It is simply now PTB in panic... They are moving even further forward - no matter what 'people see', for example, all this 'Crazy' with Banning all applications and so on. This allows us to see who pulls the strings. But it's just a guess.

In my opinion, it is worth simply 'sit back and watch what is happening'. - not to be carried away by negative emotions. The elections themselves are one thing, but there are so many things around us, such as Covid, Ice Age, inflation, probably the beginning of a lack of food supply to shops, the crash in the stock market, unemployment and so on.

And whether we want it or not, we have no control over it, we can 'digest' what is happening, not letting ourselves be disturbed and trying to look at the reality as it is. And with a little bit of luck, take steps in the right direction. not only to "survive", but to maintain a healthy body and mind and peace of mind.

Clearly, people have to suffer, and that is only, perhaps, before us, to understand that it is not the 'System' that is good or bad there, but they themselves.

They keep on coming in

Can we guess whether it was intentional, whether it was predictable, etc.? A lot of phrases and so on. If people install in such situations, they enter the "Strange Pages" which they give in good faith... true information. These things happen... how many people will install applications on their phone not from google and apps? to "have information" ?

Knowing that such an installation can prevent a bank account from being hacked, data from leaking from your phone is one thing, but being aware and not going in and out is another.

How would I bet it is not the first and not the last "Return" in data leaks, attacks on phones, bank accounts, etc.?

You just have to be careful, otherwise it's like walking around the street in a war zone with a flashlight.....

and now I'm taking "popcorn" and waiting for a better series than Netfilix : :halo: :cool2: Trump NEWSNOW LIVE

Indeed. Caesar started the civil war with a small number of very loyal legions, but was outnumbered by Pompey's forces.

For a more recent example, at the beginning of the Spanish Civil War, Franco did not have all - or even, I believe, a majority - of the Spanish military on his side.

Both Caesar and Franco also began their respective conflicts with no or greatly inferior naval support.

What I mean is that if he has anything less than something like 80% (just an estimate on my part), you got yourself a good old civil war. And that's talking just about the regular soldiers. The generals are going to be much more likely to be beholden to the MIC. If he does go down that route, it will be absolute carnage.

Trump will be speaking live in 78 minutes, i.e. at 1:30 pm EST.

Anyone want bet some monopoly money on what it's gonna be about?

My bet is that it'll be all conciliation and 'move on', and no kraken, not even a calamari, although probably some references to understanding people's anger at a less than transparent election process.

The bet was accepted Joe :)

I bet my monopoly money that he will have the Blue Tie! As for politics, it is more likely to go sideways and without 'fireworks'.

So if he doesn't, no carnage? ??????
Edit: you dropped from 100 to 80 pretty quickly... He does need a few good men (and women), granted, but I think he has some support. The question for me is if he will try something, and how much support he really does have, but we can't possibly know unless or until he makes a move. Maybe he won't.

I think he will talk about calamari but he won’t bring any to share. He’s munching on calamari and hydroxychloroquine but we can’t have any.

Historically, the generals usually side with the establishment. They tend to be political appointees.

That doesn't necessarily translate to much benefit for the establishment if a civil war breaks out. Again, the example of Spain is salient. The generals sided with the Republicans, while the captains and majors took the side of the Nationalists (with the exception of, I believe initially, two generals).

Having the generals on your side means nothing unless they are genuine strategic geniuses. Which seems unlikely in the current crop.

I got some monopoly money, and even that I wouldn't bet... Too tired of being wrong 😔😉🤪. Eesh. Fingers crossed it's not that

I would be very surprised if it was anything else. Especially given both Trump's concession video from last week, and the recent message from Melania published on whitehouse.gov this morning:

I am disappointed and disheartened with what happened last week. I find it shameful that surrounding these tragic events there has been salacious gossip, unwarranted personal attacks, and false misleading accusations on me – from people who are looking to be relevant and have an agenda. This time is solely about healing our country and its citizens. It should not be used for personal gain.

Our Nation must heal in a civil manner. Make no mistake about it, I absolutely condemn the violence that has occurred on our Nation’s Capitol. Violence is never acceptable.
