[this is a copy of my last post] MSM saying FBI warns that "armed protestors" are planning to protest in cities across the country. So the dems are taking the "insurrection op" across the country, no doubt in democratic cities.
Also: Chad Wolf,
the Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, stepped down today -- just in time for the president's Homeland Security/FEMA operation:
President Donald J. Trump Approves District of Columbia Emergency Declaration | The White House
The President’s action authorizes
the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), to coordinate all disaster relief efforts which have the purpose of alleviating the hardship and suffering caused by the emergency on the local population, and to provide appropriate assistance for required emergency measures, authorized under Title V of the Stafford Act, to save lives and to protect property and public health and safety, and to lessen or avert the threat of a catastrophe in the District of Columbia.
Specifically,
FEMA is authorized to identify, mobilize, and provide at its discretion, equipment and resources necessary to alleviate the impacts of the emergency. Emergency protective measures, limited to direct Federal assistance, will be provided at
100 percent Federal funding.
After doing a bit of work on this whole thing, I think I was wrong about Trump having any kind of upper hand in the matter. Possibly just the opposite.
First things first: Epoch Times covered this:
Trump Approves Emergency Declaration in Washington (theepochtimes.com)
Excerpt:
President Donald
Trump on Monday approved the District of Columbia’s
emergency declaration after a request by
Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser.
“Today, President Donald J. Trump declared that an emergency exists in the District of Columbia and ordered Federal assistance to supplement the District’s response efforts due to the emergency conditions resulting from the 59th Presidential Inauguration from January 11 to January 24, 2021,” a White House statement on Jan. 11 reads.
Bowser had earlier requested the emergency declaration in a letter to Trump, which reads, in part, “In light of the attack on the Capitol and intelligence suggesting further violence is likely during the Inaugural period, my administration has re-evaluated our preparedness posture for the Inauguration, including requesting the extension of DC National Guard support through January 24, 2021.
“I have determined that the plans and resources previously assigned to the Inauguration are insufficient to establish a safe and secure environment as a direct result of the insurrectionist actions that occurred on January 6. Based on recent events and intelligence assessments,
we must prepare for large groups of trained and armed extremists to come to Washington, DC,” the letter said.
So, either things are exactly as the article states -- D.C.'s Mayor Bowser requesting this additional troop support in the lead up to the inauguration -- or there is a great deal more to it than we know.
Again, it's hard to dismiss the fact that Trump's Acting Secretary of Homeland Security just happened to step down the exact same day that Trump declared emergency conditions for D.C., thereby enabling the deployment of federal troops and equipment from that same department.
I suppose it'd be helpful to look up Chad Wolf, the Homeland Security Secretary.
Okay, this CBS news story is not so good. Seems Wolf was fired in order to block "sweeping asylum restrictions slated to take effect Monday," which I assume means today (or yesterday now, since it's after midnight). So, it looks like Wolf is a Trump guy then -- who was just gotten out of the way.
Chad Wolf resigning as acting Homeland Security chief, citing court battles over appointment - CBS News
Excerpts:
In a message to DHS employees obtained by CBS News, Wolf said he was "saddened" to resign and suggested he was effectively forced to do so.
...
Wolf's resignation comes three days after a federal judge in California ruled that his appointment as acting secretary in November 2019 was likely unlawful, blocking a set of sweeping asylum restrictions that were slated to take effect Monday.
Relevant to all this, it's been exposed that Trump is surrounded by a White House Staff that has been hostile to him and to his entire effort to address the election fraud. They even kept information from him. So, if it's true that Trump is gone from Washington -- and there's no way to verify that at this point -- but, if it's true, then what is this staff, who doesn't have his back at all, doing in his absence? Did THEY have Wolf stand down? Did it have to do with blocking the "sweeping asylum restrictions" slated for today? Or is it two birds with one stone: take care of the immigration issue, while booting out a Trump loyalist who would have been in charge of the federal troops on the ground in D.C.?
Anyway, as of now, there'll be the continuance of the D.C. National Guard presence until the 24th, just extended from today, the 11th, and the deployment of federal troops in the nation's capitol leading up to the inauguration.
In light of recent "synthetic" events, and an operation apparently underway involving "armed protestors" in various, one assumes dem cities across the country -- including D.C. where Bowser anticipates "groups of trained and armed extremists" -- I suggest that none of this looks very good for the "good guys."
Where is Trump?
Also, it's rather creepy now that no one really knows where Trump even is. There was a story on the MSM tonight that he and Pence patched things up, and intend to work together 'til the inauguration. It was done as an announcement, with a face shot of Trump next to a face shot of Pence up on screen. No live footage of them shaking hands or anything. So, once again, we don't even know where the president of the United States is even located. He has been blacked out.
