2024 US election: A Kennedy presidency? Trump again? Will it be rigged?

Just watched the debate - and the impression i get was that a very elaborate trap was sprung - and Trump took the bait.

Although he didnt "lose" - amazingly Kamala came across as being competent. She gaslit, taunted him with character jibes and lies, and he did appear unsettled at times. It almost seems that Kamala had foreknowledge of all the questions beforehand and prepared her points and jibes well before (she seemed to calmly know what to say and when) - while Trump seemed to be reacting to the questions for the first time. The moderators too were part of the trap.

I think this is a given. She probably got the questions a month ago and together with a bunch of coaches she’s been practicing what and how to answer. They’ve perfected this making a ‘movie version’ of a person with Biden, so I see no reason why they wouldn’t continue with it. In case she had an earpiece, I think what was delivered through it were cues to what of the prerehearsed lines she should go with.

I’m afraid all we going to see of Harris from now on is a carefully crafted and presented illusion that has nothing to do with reality. The more astute will of course see through it but as long as the majority buys it, they’ll be okay.
 
An interesting sidelight. Many of the Trump supporters I know think he did fine. So their prejudice skewed their objectivity, IMO. The notion he was ganged up on by the moderators and that’s his excuse isn’t valid for me either. They did ask her some tough ones too. Neither bozo on display answered much of anything.

Trump’s team coulda shoulda anticipated most of the hard questions in advance and plotted a strategy other that “yeah, but…some other random thing”. A bunch of college debaters could have seen what was coming. No excuses. How amazing would some direct answers from Trump have been?

I thought he allowed himself to be roasted and toasted. Another debatable point: she went for the jugular, he did not. Should he have? It would have played into the men-are-pigs meme but…?

All in all he and his team should have seen it coming. Maybe he has been surrounded with yet another subversive team. That’s a possibility too.

Further debates wouldn't be a ...thing? ...he is playing the elections game, it keeps the flame alive, deep state is braking him up. For him that did not anticipate this process/results, is that there is something else going on in the background.
