Any Memories From the Day of Days? - 9-11, 20 Years on

The 'Twin Towers' were designed by Minoru Yamasaki, a Japanese-American architect who had previously designed Dhahran International Airport (now known as King Abdulaziz Air Base) in Saudi Arabia.

The latter came first, so he incorporated some of the airport's 'Islamic forms' into the Towers - most notably, a modernist take on the pointed arches of mosques. The construction firm behind the Saudi airport was Bin Laden Group.
Well you couldn't make that up if you tried! Adds an extra layer to the ritualized, sacrificial nature of the whole event. Deliberate or one of the Universe's trickster games, who can say... same for the first foundation stones of the Pentagon being laid on September 11, 1941...

violent criminal organizations policy

Between the fish and the mug, I think they have your number Joe! Illuminating choice of words though; a perfect description of deep state government as it existed then and now.

It's interesting to note which videos remain after all these years and which they repeatedly take down. In terms of the utter absurdity of post 9-11 reality I think this still wins first prize.

CBS Report January 28th 2002 - Bin Laden At Rawalpindi Hospital Sept 10th 2001

The complete cognitive dissonance of it's implications at the time must have been beyond bizarre for those watching CNN in Jan 2002 as Dan Rather, the most trusted anchorman in US history, soberly relayed an exclusive report to the folks back home that the evening before 9-11 Bin Laden was taken into hospital in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, for kidney dialysis treatment.

Did those watching live at the time have even a flicker of thought how it was that the mastermind of the most complex and impossible seeming act of terrorism in world history managed to pull this off from a hospital bed surrounded by Pakistani intelligence officers...?

The transcript below is worth reading for its full implication. Sourcing the report directly to Pakistani intel (CIA controlled) whilst at the same time reminding the viewer that Pakistan had pledged its backing to the US, including hunting Bin Laden down, is really something... as is CBS/Rumsfeld saying he has no knowledge of his state of health... or whether alive or dead... meanwhile the hunt for the bogeyman was in full swing in Afghanistan...

DAN RATHER

Dan Rather reporting from CBS News headquarters in New York.

Good evening as the United States and its allies in the war on terrorism pressed the hunt for Osama bin Laden, CBS News has exclusive information tonight about where bin Laden was and what he was doing in the last hours before his followers struck the United States, September 11th. This is a result of hard-nosed investigative reporting by a team of CBS news journalist and by one of the best foreign correspondents in the business. CBS’ Barry Peterson. Here is Peterson's exclusive report.

BARRY PETERSON

Everyone remembers what happened on September 11; here's the story of what may have happened the night before
. It is a tale as twisted as the hunt for Osama bin Laden.

CBS News has been told that the night before the September 11th terrorist attack, Osama bin Laden was in Pakistan. He was getting medical treatment with the support of the very military that days later pledged its backing for the US war on terror in Afghanistan.

Pakistan intelligence sources tell CBS News
that bin Laden was spirited into this military hospital in Rawalpindi for kidney dialysis treatment.

On that night, says this medical worker who wanted her identity protected, they moved out all the regular staff and the urology department and sent in a secret team to replace them. She says it was treatment for a very special person; the special team was obviously up to no good.

The military had him surrounded says this hospital employee, who also wanted his identity masked, and I saw the mysterious patient helped out of the car. Since that time, he says, I have seen many pictures of the man; he is the man we know as Osama bin Laden. I also heard two army officers talking to each other; they were saying that Osama bin Laden had to be watched carefully and looked after.

Those who know bin Laden say he suffers from numerous ailments; back and stomach problems. Ahmed Rashid, who has written extensively on the Taliban, says the military was often there to help before 911.

AHMED RASHID

There were reports that Pakistani intelligence help the Taliban, by dialysis machines and the rumour was that these were wanted for Osama bin Laden.

BARRY PETERSON

Doctors at the hospital told CBS News there was nothing special about that night, but they refused our request to see any records. Government officials tonight denied that Osama bin Laden had any medical treatment on that night.

But it was Pakistan's president Musharraf who said in public what many suspected; that bin Laden suffers from kidney disease, saying he thinks bin Laden may be near death. His evidence? Watching this most recent video showing a pale and Haggard bin Laden, his left hand never moving.

Bush administration officials admit they don't know if bin Laden is sick or even dead.

DONALD RUMSFELD

With respect to the issue of Osama bin Laden’s health, I just don't have any knowledge.

BARRY PETERSON

The US has no way of knowing who in Pakistan's military or intelligence supported the Taliban or Osama bin Laden, may be up to the night before 9-11, by arranging dialysis to keep him alive. So the US may not know if those same people might help him again - perhaps to freedom. Barry Peterson, CBS News, Islamabad

It's one thing to make sure he lived through the night so as to guarantee he was demonstrably still on this earth come 9-11. Quite another to basically admit that's what they were doing.

I suppose the real question is how and why CBS published this report in the first place. As with Niall's mosque design one wonders if this wasn't another example of hidden in plain sight - the sometimes knowing, sometimes unknowing compliance with the universe that all must be revealed... leaving it up to the observer to notice as it slips on by (but we did tell you!)...

September 11, 2001, I was employed at the local private college overseeing the student mail of the college mailroom. I had just turned 51 on the 2nd, and had two kids, ages 16 and 20 - the eldest enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. It was an extraordinarily beautiful September day - incredible blue sky above all. I noticed that the most when I left for the day - and that an act of incredible horror was occurring in the midst of such a beautiful day - where I was and in NYC.

When someone came into the mailroom to say that a plane had hit the twin towers, we all thought it was a horrible accident. It was around 9 a.m. Not too long after, we heard a second plane had hit the other tower. I knew at that moment it was not an accident. Sometime later, we heard the Pentagon had been hit by a plane. Genuine alarm at what was happening - was the country under full-scale attack? Seems like we were trying to get info from our computers although I thought we did have a radio on in the mailroom but no access to a TV. We kept working as new info was reported - some was unsubstantiated rumor.

As if all that wasn't traumatic enough, my husband was flying to Maryland that day! Was I worried - you bet! Don't remember how soon after the planes hit that all flights in the air were instructed to land at the nearest airports. I forget now which airport his flight landed at, but no rental cars available and he had to stay in a hotel 2 or 3 days. I wasn't able to reach him until late in the day to find out if he was alright - phone lines were tied up as everyone was trying to contact loved ones. Well before then, news of Flight 93 had become known. What was happening?!!

I think I went home for lunch - would have turned on TV. Don't recall any of that now for sure. My boss was a special forces Vietnam vet and fully believed he'd get a call any moment to come to the aid of his country (wishful thinking on his part I believe - too old and bad case of self-importance. He had told us he had worked at Norad at one time - grain of salt as to factual or not. He did bring up CIA website on occasion - he held that agency in very high esteem - and did that day as well in hopes of getting news and a call to action!).

When I left for the day, we were all shocked and numb as to what had happened - particularly the collapse of both towers - full of people - and people jumping to their deaths. As I walked to my car immersed in radiant sunshine under a spectacular blue sky, it all seemed too surreal. At home, constant viewing of TV coverage as the non-stop reporting continued. I don't remember the interaction with my kids - did I call my son at college? Was I able to get through? Not sure when I spoke by phone to my parents or my brother who worked in D.C. Everything came to a halt where he was and eventually everyone went home and stayed home for several days - maybe a week or more. Someone he knew said they saw the plane flying over that went on to hit the Pentagon.

Soon enough, the anthrax attacks and scare happened. Being that I worked in a mailroom, I did consider the fact that tainted mail could show up in our mailroom albeit unlikely. It was the beginning of a whole new set of security measures for mail, airports, and so much more. My dad happened to be a retired postal carrier, but two uncles and a cousin were still employed by the postal service in West Virginia and another state (a postmaster in fact). Two postal workers in Washington, D.C. died from the anthrax attack. Not sure when I learned that Bush, Cheney, his and White House staff given Cipro a month in advance of the anthrax attacks.

Thanks to my dad, I was not a clueless observer of the times. I was informed enough to know that what we were being told was not the truth. A past 60 Minutes presentation was instrumental in that regard. Hadn't anyone else seen it? It did not get any subsequent press as far as I know. What I didn't know was whether our government knew the attack was going to happen and chose not to stop it or if our government was actually the perpetrators (perpe-traitors). From that point on, the internet was key to finding more and more info that completely dispelled the fiction being sold to the public. If I could find and see it, why couldn't everyone else? Don't think I was able to convince my brother that the plane his acquaintance saw was not what hit the Pentagon. Dad's influence apparently skipped him for the most part.

I was 13 and in 8th grade the day JFK was assassinated. I was changing to my last class of the day when my friend told me alarmingly that the President had been shot! The class I was going to was social studies and the teacher turned on a radio saying we were witness to history in the making! We were all stunned and somber. I forget if we learned the President had died before class was over. I still recall the images I saw on TV the next few days - Oswald being shot by Ruby - the President's casket carried on a caisson pulled by six horses accompanied by a riderless horse - John John saluting his father. My dad wasn't a fan of JFK - he had voted for Goldwater - but, sometime in the ensuing weeks/months/years, we realized the assassination wasn't what we were being told. How about that magic bullet! What about the grassy knoll? Many, many years later - 2009 or 2010 - I came across even more disturbing, confounding info about that day - I posted it on the forum.

Now twenty years after that 2nd major false flag, the big lie is still alive and well which is so hard to believe and accept. And, of course, it was the main mechanism to enable the ultimate depopulation scam currently playing. That's all I have to say about it as my absolute disgust at the incredible ignorance of the American public makes me feel utterly disconnected from mutual existence.

I remember watching tv upstairs in my room, and seeing on the news how the planes hit the Twin Towers. I was 17 back then. When the towers collapsed, it really took me by surprise (like "is that possible?"). I watched it in disbelief/shock, almost as if things happened in slow motion, although I wasn't conciously suspecting anything anytime soon.

When the narrative was build, it made less and less sense as time went on. All kind of weird and confusing things suddenly happening like the anthrax letters. When the Iraq war started I just couldn't accept it and thought that the US had nefarious plans to 'get their oil' (not exactly the correct answer but going at the right direction).

It was several years later when I finally started to search the Truth of what really happened 9/11 (also thanks to a friend who had brought the subject up several times), which eventually led to SOTT and to this Forum!

The towers collapsing was pretty dramatic, although I think most of the enduring shock etc. was created by the media's response to it. Talk about hysterical! But as Ryan said, Americans were living in a bubble very much detached from reality.
Like this Covid drama. Even people who know the truth, me including, report getting somewhat dragged in and "scared" if they watch too much mainstream news and Covid press conferences. Listening to radio does not have the same effect, at least for me.

The towers collapsing was highly meticulous and precise. I would have expected many more surrounding buildings to have major structural damage and in need for demolition if two major buildings went down each, in a matter of minutes. I mean there was no hole and crack and then lean, not even a single steel beam, or anything God forbid to create more damage than predicted. But appart from the late ‘duck’ WT.. building, with all the cinder, the majority of buildings were ‘sitting’ pretty. Honestly, my initial theory was that the TT owners needed to cash on the insurance. The months that followed I thought the World has gone mad mostly due to the media. Like with the covid, all airports started to beff up security upon security, and all countries started to be on a mission to find terrorists, that I believe were produced and proliferated at order, because after NY came London, and then... I don’t even remember. All I remember was a systematic terror culminating with ISIS. Was everyone living in bubles? 9/11 affected everyone. Covid affected everyone.

And then to push their propaganda some false flags attacks, one in GB and the atrocious one in Spain. With this one you can imagine how the media played the horrendous images hour after hour, day after day. Like now and specially at the beginning with the covid saga. It was necessary to make accept us that war was necessary, to make us accomplices of their savagery, to make us accept the idea that it was necessary to kill other human beings to avenge the victims of the attacks. This is madness. It was madness then, it is madness now with the Covid.

I was sleeping when a coworker called and told me about it. It was about 9:00am. So the attack had already been 5 hours old.

She was upset because her dad lived in PA and that her attempts to get through on the phone were met with busy signals. She was crying in her helplessness and wanted me to see if I new anything since I had the internet.

So I turned on the TV and it was non-stop coverage of this crash, and it was the same clips over and over. This was 24 hour coverage for days on the major networks.
One of the most memorable reporters was a reporter who kept blinking her eyes - as if trying to send a secret message... 'something fishy is going on here, and I am in its midst, and all I can do is blink my eyes'....

So, looking back... on this psy-op, there must have been many people in-the-know about a event to come, but ignorant to the extent, and to this degree, but they were made to feel incorporated into it so as to make them feel guilty, or parcel to it, casting a cloud of silence and fear and embarrassment. And while this coverage acted upon the masses, the networks were free to spin the whole thing as they saw fit, because the unwitting core at the center, were too paralyzed.

There were a few of those on the day Metrist. Can't remember who now, but one of the senior anchormen live on air said something like:

'...and one of the hijackers passports has been found a few blocks away from the Trade Centre, if you can believe that...'

I remember getting ready for work and listening to the radio for the news and weather report. Funny, but the weather in Moose Jaw was almost to a tee the same as NYC's: clear, sunny without a breath of wind, a beautiful fall day. Then there was something about a plane hitting the WTC. I thought that a plane had accidentally crashed into the WTC, nothing more, but I wanted to know the whole story. When I got to work, I didn't have time to talk to my fellow employees about what happened, when the first customer of the day came in and I asked if I could help him. I noticed he had an American accent so I asked him where he was from. He replied he was a just-retired cop from Oxnard California. I asked him if he heard what happened in NYC with the plane crashing into the WTC, and he answered with the strangest response: "I don't want to talk about it." In retrospect it's as if he knew it was an inside job.I was really taken aback by his gruff answer so I left him alone and a few minutes later he left the store.
It didn't take me long to figure out, after getting more information from my fellow employees and watching tv news reports, that indeed something was seriously amiss about the whole event. but after doing a fair bit of research-and one didn't have to go very deep-on JFK's assassination, and being involved in the anti-war movement, I wasn't in the least surprised that 9/11 was an inside job.

They were sans vergogne, as we say in Spanish, sin verguenza y sinverguenzas. With no shame and they were scoundrels. (Sorry for this word, I don't know if it is correct to employed)

The fact that without respect they make us listen infinitum the sound of bodies falling on the street, without any respect for the victims. And the picture of this man falling head first. And then I remember that on TV the "specialists" of all kinds, like now with the covid, that is to say false specialists, liars and comedians, who gave their point of view. I remember especially a man who worked for the Spanish secret service and who told, like someone who tells a movie scenario, how it happened in the airplanes: the terrorists with knives that cut the throats of the air hostesses... He went so far as to make the gesture with his hands, like a real pirate.

For days I was obsessed. When knowledge is lacking it is obsession that takes over. It took a few more years before I began to understand. Knowledge calms, in fact. Knowledge is vital, the most beautiful and important thing on earth, essential for survival and not only for our individual survival but for the survival of all species. But you know all of this.

Michael I forgot to tell you how impressive are the pictures you put up. They make me think of monstrous churches. It's a very "religious" style but morbide, obscure and almost repulsive.

I was 27 and working for the bank that's apparently changing it's logo to support vaccinations.

I was at work talking to someone while preparing for opening time and there was a TV on but the volume was turned down. I caught the image of the plane crashing into the tower on the edge of my field of vision and shock as everything else shut down to focus on the news after I gasped and probably swore. Someone turned the volume up and we listened to a few minutes of reports. I didn't see all of the footage on the news until I got home that night.

It was the most horrible thing to imagine being in those buildings and trying to get out. Or texting last messages to loved ones. Or getting a last message from a loved one. Imagining what kind of mindless terror was driving people to jump from from so high up.

Thinking about it all these days and knowing now that the orchestrator's probably felt nothing of that human suffering and in fact probably made a ton of money out of it and tightenened their control just makes me feel sick.

One of the most memorable reporters was a reporter who kept blinking her eyes - as if trying to send a secret message... 'something fishy is going on here, and I am in its midst, and all I can do is blink my eyes'....

Don't know if it's a reliable indicator or not, a reporter might be blinking because they're trying not to cry, or because there is a lot of dust in the air. However there was that line in V for Vendetta where Evey declared that a certain news anchor was lying because she'd noticed that she frequently blinked more when she knew she was.

Thank you Michael for that poignant account of those days leading up to and of September 11th.

I was 29 and working an early morning insurance case about an hour and a half from home. Shortly before 9 am the radio announcer stated a plane has hit one of the towers and a few minutes later announced a second plane hitting the other tower... or it just fell. That part is still dream like in a way to me because they had immediately started to blame terrorist. I kept hearing the words from the radio, "i can't believe it". My first thought was it WAS terrorist and things have come home to roost. I had felt that we had been the cause of so much suffering in other places that retaliation was coming back to us but the main question I had in my mind was why did they not hit the White House or a military base? And then they announced that the Pentagon had been hit. It was surreal.

I was not, am not enlightened in the least and rarely watched the news, especially the national or world news. I had lots of unanswered questions about the world we lived in but had resigned myself to not knowing the answers until after my death. I knew no other person in my small circle that was even pondering those types of questions and wasn't on the internet much at all. But those were my first thoughts about hearing the news that day.

I called my boss and she said there was nothing I can do so just stay on the case and I remember taking the phone from my ear and just staring at it as if she was crazy. A few hours later just when I was going to call it quits, the guy leaves and I spend the next while following him around getting what I needed and didn't arrive home until later that afternoon.

I turned to the tv on and saw the clips that were repeated over and over and I sat on the couch bawling silently over the massive loss of life that day. Seeing those building pancake like that immediately brought to mind the controlled demolition shows my dad used to watch when I was a kid. It wasn't until much, much later that my brain processed the amount of time it would have taken for that to have been set up. And that third building that wasn't hit by a plane just falling in the same manner was a dead give away that things were not what they seem, but no one noticed or questioned that at all.

I had resigned this too to not have a real answer about the nature of the event and who was ultimately responsible until after my death because there seemed to be so little truth any where at that time.

20 years ago today…. I was still so, so naïve…

Today had read an article on SOTT.net by William Hurt. Was quite taken by it, along with his documentary film that features, no falling towers, no smoke, no sense of evaporating debris - no destructive scene's at all, it feature peoples' close loss, from indeed this "unspeakable" event. I thank Mr. Hurt for his words and his film along with the people who told their stories.

As William said:

The Unspeakable is about a horror that was committed upon innocent people and about their friends and loved ones struggling to heal while the truth is suppressed by those we are supposed to be able to trust. It's also about the attempt to break the individual human heart and spirit — but how it cannot be broken in some.

The name of the documentary comes from Thomas Merton's work, so adding a reference to his work bearing the same name:

Be human in this most inhuman of ages; guard the image of man for it is the image of God.

-Thomas Merton (Raids on the Unspeakable)

Applicable then as it is today in these new unspeakable times.

On this twentieth anniversary date, was away camping within a hundred kilometres of where I was that infamous day, the day that just after 6 am.(MST) while driving up the highway, the "unspeakable" took place and news of it played out over the vehicle radio. A state of 'shock and awe' being spilled over NYC streets, and all else that day became locked in memory, each little scene, image clips, voice and face bundled into questions that are still of mind twenty years later.

The closeness that day came when during a meeting, one of the auditors rushed out to discover that the firm he worked for lost one of their fellow colleagues when at the towers that morning - at that time he was missing. Every bone of sorrow was to this man and to the pain that fell over those that directly suffered. In reality, it was a veil of psychological pain thrown over the whole planet.

One task that day was also to drive up and locate a couple of helicopters doing work, to grounding them as aviation directives came in. Remember well the stunned pilots as I told them, say what?, that is not possible, they said. Yes, it does not seem so, yet that is what appears to have happened, in reply.

I know for many, the recognition that something was horrible askew with the narrative, either happened quickly, or happened over many years. Considering who was at the helm that day, the observations made and the conflicting narratives that poured in, many had unspoken - forbidden thoughts in the days that followed, while many had their focus immediately redirected to a foreign enemy that they could blame and vent their anger upon.

Six months later, drove across the hyper-intense boarder to see family, it was then that through the glass, framed upon the wall side by side, was Bush and Cheney smiling out like Alice's Cheshire Cat, each from their own picture frame. Chilling.

Twenty years later, and whatever this unspeakable power is that dares do these things, it is surely akin to the eye of Sauron unto this day, as Merton said "in this most inhuman of ages."

Thank you for the thread and memories of being there, Michael B-C, and thank you to other's for your own recollections and words.

I was researching local musician Evan Dando (The Lemonheads) and found this anecdote in an interview. I did not know that he had lived in New York City, was (he says) a witness to the Twin Towers events on 9/11, and kept a piece of the rubble in his apartment. Note: he is notoriously a flighty, on-and-off problem drug user. No idea what his condition was on that fateful day.

Dando uses both hands to pick up his piece of the World Trade Center. “Open the window,” he commands. “The towers were right there. That morning really fucked me up. The second plane was so close, it went shoom, right over my head.” He pauses and absentmindedly pats the pack of Marlboro Lights in his shirt pocket. “Because I was so close, I know what really happened,” he says. “I shouldn’t get into it, because I’m not a political person, but they were blown up by bombs. They were not taken out by those airplanes. Those fires were going out and then the buildings blew up. What I saw and heard that day was a crime, and not by the people they’re saying. That’s all I’ll say.” He pauses. “I’m worried about our country. But then again I’ve been worried about America my entire life.”

It's amazing to think that this is now already 23 years ago. I recall the day well. I was living in a house share with 3 dudes and they had the cable news on tv running when I got up in the afternoon. I had work that evening but I must have watched that news feed for a few hours non-stop. In work we all discussed it in a kind of a daze. The evening passed without incident and I went home from work pretty late with my girlfriend of the time. It's all that was discussed back home later on too. I had been reading articles online saying that the US was the Beast of revelation, not quite believing said articles, but playing around with them in my head. I also had a bootleg of a Primal Scream song called "Bomb the Pentagon", which became the track "Rise" in 2003. I was also reading about reptilian beings on David Icke's website. So my head was literally swimming with contrasting ideas, it was a febrile time. I found the Cs material in 2003, so hadn't really caught onto solid ideas by this point. BBC News 24 was cutting edge news still at that time, I wasn't a normie but I had a long way to go in terms of synthesizing complex ideas.

The vibe on the streets that evening struck me. There was a vicious howling wind that night, and people were agitated. Conversation was stilted, people were unsure of themselves. Undoubtedly this was a life changing event, we could all feel it. I was a little sceptical of all the words being bandied around about Bin Laden immediately too, though I knew little of his history. It seemed too soon to be so sure. The next few years in the UK were very trying. society was split between the Pro-war and Anti-war camps. I was soon to get right into reading the cutting edge analysis on Sott by 2003 but until then I was reading on Rense and Icke's websites mostly. It already feels like a former life, when looking back. So much lay ahead of us back then, but we had just witnessed a "changing of the program" in real time. And now we ready ourselves for a new marker event if the Cs are to be understood. On air, land or sea!? With little to no anticipation if I can manage it, lol!

It's been an interesting trip down memory lane looking back on 9-11. One of those seismic moments where you know just where you were as this monumental event unfolded. Computers would soon become way more sophisticated and phone technology too, and YT and facebook were on the horizon. It feels a little like the death throes of a fading empire, one last stab at the enemy. Back then we had Blair the psychopath running things in the UK. then Dr David Kelly was murdered. And then Afghanistan and Iraq and all the tragic wasted life from those Zionist backed wars. Welcome to the 21st century, meet the new boss, same as the old boss. Ah well, at least it's easier seeing the real enemies in our world today. The reading was all worthwhile. Some people have predicted a groundswell of revolution, a la the colour revolutions of recent history. Certainly the tide has changed in the younger, Gen-Z types, that's a given. The old mechanics of left versus right in politics is a little fudged when you see who's backing them from behind the scenes. Always follow the money, and the weapons contracts. In the UK now we have a moribund Tory/Labour Zionist establishment, with a few radical outliers who have my interest. Here's looking forward to "interesting times" in the land of chaos and misrule, I hope fellow forum members who are UK based know that they're never walking alone on the streets of Babylon.:cool2:
