Body odor

When I don't use soap, but only bathing salt, made of sea salt, almond oil, and some essential oils (whatever I like the smell of) I don't need to use deodorant, and don't get bad smell (at least not when showering once a day) but when I use soap, from day 1 (I've tried several times, when running out of bathing salt) , I start to smell 3-5 hours after the shower. I don't know if this only works for me, or why it works, but perhaps it is worth a try

Didn't realize I had written this thread, but I have the same problem now. It's just one armpit though. So I think it's bacterial or fungal. I've tried both peroxide and colloidal silver and I highly do not recommend that! The die off will smell worse. I tried rubbing with baking soda too and that doesn't work.

I don't want to shave my armpits, so I figured some kind of soap would work. I got this Katialis medicated soap with zinc and salicylic acid, but haven't used it yet. I can't find the inactive ingredients and the box doesn't list them. Maybe I could just try it for a few days? I guess I'm just wondering how much bad stuff is in it, but it may be not a big deal if it actually works. Any ideas or recommendations on these kinds of soaps?
