I was just about to post this...this fb page issue certainly seems interesting.

One explanation is that a guy created a FB page on horses a month ago, and that he changed the title of his page right after the Boston explosions, making it a memorial page. Some pple argue you can't change the url of a FB page so even if the guy had changed the name of the page, the url would have stayed the same (thus showing it was a page about horses). But others say it's possible to change the url. Anyway, something similar happened after Sandy Hook, apparently.

ADD: just saw your comment about the change of pages' names.

I believe you can change the 'nickname' or whatever they call it that appears in the URL; you just can't change it back to a previous one -- it has to be new.

Well, not really - here's a brief synopsis:

White house press briefing room. Obama speaks: Earlier today I was briefed by homeland security, we are continuing to monitor, to help state and local authorities to protect their citizens, to increase security and investigate what happened. Americans will say a prayer tonight and Michelle and I will send our thoughts to all those affected.

We don’t have all the answers, fbi, Secretary of homeland security are both mobilizing resources, we've updated congress and all leaders agree that we are not Democrats or Republicans, but are Americans united in concern for our fellow citizens.

Every single federal resource necessary to counsel and care for victims has been made available. First responders are heroic, so many Americans serve and sacrifice very single day, we salute them. We don’t know who did it or why. Don’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts. We will get to the bottom of it, who did it and why they did it. Any responsible individuals or groups will feel the full weight of justice.

Today is patriot’s day – celebrates the free and independent spirit of this country. Boston is tough and resilitiant and they’ll pull together and move forward. Anticipate that as we get more information, our teams will provide briefings. We will find out who did this and hold them accountable.

I've looked a little bit more into it. This is what I've found where they state:

How do I change my Page name?

You can only change the name of a Page with fewer than 200 likes. If your Page qualifies, follow these steps to change its name:

From the top of your Page, click Edit Page
Select Update Info
Change the text in the Name field and save your edits

You can't currently change the name of a Page with 200 or more likes.

Changing your Page's name does not affect its username or Page address.

I think they had 18 likes on the page when they took the screenshot, so it's possible...
And the username - which is also the URL for the page - can only be changed once.

NBC nightly news leads off with a TERROR banner and makes the comparison to 9-11 by saying that "the runners didn't know that there was something very wrong until the second explosion, the first one being mistaken for a celebratory cannon or something - just like when the second plane hit the trade centers, that's when New Yorkers really knew something was wrong". Sheesh - they are pouring it on - non stop replays of the explosion and the screaming people (it was really a small explosion, so the constant replaying of it comes off as odd). The wheels are in motion for the latest installment of "Show them why they NEED US".

They def are. Added to the list is the constant repetition of the term 'twin explosives' and/or 'twin bombs'... Since 9/11, I think anyone hears a term starting with 'twin', first thing in mind will be the towers.

I was thinking quite the opposite, actually.
Today he totally seemed like he's giving us a list of groceries as opposed to the Sandy Hook speech at which he failed to be actually sincere but fooled most people with those fake non-existent 'tears' and at least he tried hard to appear emotional.
None of that today and he didn't even try, osit.

I saw this on a TV at work today. At first glance I thought comets, until more info was provided and the images shown. Then I wondered who would be blamed for this, or what country they would use this to take advantage of

I thought it was "interesting" too that it happened to be Patriot's day. There was a doctor interviewed on the scene and he was saying that this is something you see happen in Baghdad or Israel. And then he seemed to start to go on more about Israel, but was cut off and the program changed to something else.

Obama to me looked kind of mad or full of contempt when giving the brief speech. Kind of like, "Why do I have to be doing this?"

I should have clarified what I meant by 'on his game'. He showed zero emotion (probably knows better because of Sandy Hook) and probably wanted to come across as 'strong and confident' to the masses. People that still buy the schtick would see him as 'getting down to business'. My opinion though.

Two explosions occurred near the Boston Marathon finish line at 2:50 p.m. The race was diverted before being halted as police and fire crews swept the area. Another device was found, which was purposely detonated by Boston Police at Boylston Street. Another incident at JFK Library, which was thought to be a fourth-related incident, is now being considered as a fire-related issue by the Boston Police Department.

An hour after the 2 explosions, on the other side of town:

Another incident occurred at the John F. Kennedy Library at about 4:12 p.m. The incident appears to be related to a fire that began in the building's mechanical room and it is unclear if it is related to the two explosions.

It turned out that it wasn't related, but isn't it a weird coincidence? Like a message of sorts (from whom to whom, I have no clue).

So, it's Patriot day and it's also the day that US federal tax returns are due - I bet they're angling toward "domestic terrorists" - a militia movement or something. Just a guess though...

I've been out all day today and on the drive home I've been listening to the radio about the bombings (Tom Ashbrook's show "On Point"). He and his guests were talking about how tight lipped the police were being and that they weren't releasing any information. Then his one guest said how domestic terrorism is an issue and how there are right wing 'patriot' extremist groups who are training with al Qaeda yada yada yada. My jaw actually dropped at how transparent it all is. A couple of people called in to say how disturbing it is to point fingers when there is no information at this point. Then Ashbrook's other guest came on (another 'terrorism' expert) and said how spot on the domestic terrorism comments were.

It reminded me of the section in Evidence of Revision on 'preparing the public mind', but instead of the lone wolf assassin it's the new American al Qaeda.

Yes - it's so horrible for all involved. And why during such a high-profile event, was that particular area not made totally secure?? What got me when I watched the video of the explosion at the finish line is how improbable it seems that DHS would NOT have the area secure. If the PTB are trying to make us think we NEED them, they aren't doing such a wonderful job of inspiring confidence!

I just read the article on SOTT where they had bomb sniffing dogs there before the explosion (http://www.sott.net/article/260916-Boston-Marathon-Blasts-Bomb-Sniffing-Dogs-Spotters-on-Roofs-Before-Explosions), so one wonders why, if they suspected that something was wrong, would they not clear the area? I also wonder when/if the average American will ever question this.

While the psyop nature of this seems apparent to most of us, I am still sometimes amazed at the gullibility of most Americans - but by now I should know better.

My friend B, whom I've known since we were little kids, had a visceral rejection and emotional reaction against my observations about the explosions and when I called him on it he more or less opened his mind. It was a rather stark 180.

What's jumping out at me - concurrent drills, arrest of a 'saudi national', several bombs in succession. It's all very familiar. My brother even texted me before I knew about it wondering when Sott was going to have an article up.

I definitely feel the whole tax day timing is very poetic given how many bombs our tax dollars are responsible for bombs being blown up around the world.

It seems that mid april is real popular for these so called "attacks." -- April 19, 1993: the FBI's siege of the Waco compound leaves 76 dead.
-- April 19, 1995: the bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City kills 168 people.
-- April 20, 1999: A mass shooting at Columbine High School leaves 15 dead.
-- April 16, 2007: The Virginia Tech massacre kills 33.
And now April 15 today it's an odd patern. A little too odd
