So sorry to hear of the loss of Cherie. What a beautiful dog companion.
My collie is a ball chaser aswell and would do exactly the same to the point of exhaustion.
Thinking about you all and the sad loss of Cherie.

I'm really sorry for your lost Laura and totally understand your sadness. I almost lost Fiona last summer by drowning and as she will be 14 years old next month, march 5, I know that she may leave us soon. I know that we will all be very emotional in the familly, this will be a terribly sad day and the emotions will flow but how can it be otherwise. We are only human after all.
