I think they are having a lot of fun naming the new "variants" and the whole show that we are watching is a kind of sport.

I am just watching a Max Egan video and he mentioned a possibly related naming reason that uses the name of a video game sold by Microsoft back in 1999 called Omikron. Just a coincidence?

I am beginning to think that Max Egan is like a tough Gandhi who is encouraging all of us to resist in whatever way we can. He does not encourage violence but for everyone to protect themselves from the violence that these psychopaths are committing against us and resist to the best of their ability using their brains to find ways of doing it.
