A great statement from the Covid Medical Network (a group of senior medical doctors and health professionals who are concerned about the health impacts of the lockdowns used in response to the SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks in Victoria and across Australia)

I disagree with the opening sentence that the Victorian government's response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus is now doing more harm than good, but that is a very minor gripe in an otherwise excellent statement. Whether anything will actually happen from it is another story however.... I certainly won't be holding my breath.

‘Health is a state of physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’.
WHO Constitution, 1948.

Statement of the Australian Covid Medical Network

Monday 5th October 2020

The Victorian government’s response to the SARS-CoV-2 virus is now doing more harm than good. These measures will cause more deaths and result in far more negative health effects than the virus itself. Left unchecked, the Victorian government risks creating the state’s worst ever public health crisis.

Many Australian doctors and other health professionals consider the lockdown measures to be disproportionate, unscientific, excessively authoritarian and the cause of widespread suffering for many Victorians.

Thereby, we Australian Doctors and Health Professionals, in solidarity with thousands of international doctors, call for the cessation of all disproportionate measures that contravene the International Siracusa Principles.

These Siracusa Principles(1) are part of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, to which Australia is a signatory(2), and are recommended by the World Health Organisation(3). They require all public health management policies to meet standards of legality, evidence-based necessity and proportionality, and that they recognise our basic, universal and non-derogable human rights.

Children and adolescents are suffering and being needlessly harmed by the denial of normal social interactions such as play, schooling and relationships with family and friends, particularly as the virus poses an almost negligible risk. These effects on child and adolescent health will impact their future wellbeing for many years to come(4)

The ambition for ‘viral elimination’ and the intent of achieving “zero cases for a period of time”(5), is both irrational and unachievable, according to the best local and international evidence. The latest evidence suggests that ‘lockdown measures’ in general have limited effectiveness in reducing the viral health impacts in the long term.

The Victorian government’s measures are ‘anti-health’ and deny the principles of good medical practice. They constitute a disproportionate approach which relies on a fear-based media narrative as well as inadequate and misleading information. This must cease as soon as possible.

These policies seriously compromise the health of individuals and the wider community by imposing curfews, local travel restrictions, reduced exercise and outdoor activities, imposed isolation and the quarantining of the healthy, enforced mask wearing in open spaces, the denial of children’s play, the denial of socialisation and education with friends and peers and the disruption of family relationships. These policies are contrary to common-sense and the arbitrary application of laws enforcing these policies has created unnecessary disquiet in our community and a growing loss of confidence in those responsible for such decisions

The fear and societal anxiety caused by these policies has delayed presentations of many serious medical conditions, including cancers and heart disease. The interruptions to both public and private health-care systems has adversely impacted access to health services. The imposition of isolation on the elderly and the vulnerable has caused a dramatic increase in mental health problems. The interruption and closure of businesses has created significant financial and relationship strain for many families and further impacted the mental stress and negative health impacts we are witnessing

Evidence does not support these measures. The limited virulence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus for the vast majority of the population is now well established from the latest international data sets. When one also considers the serious limitations of PCR Covid swab tests for population screening and the resultant lack of clarity concerning the definitions of ‘Covid Cases’ and so called ‘Covid Deaths’, especially in the setting of Residential Aged Care, the policies of the Victorian government raise serious questions, requiring an urgent review and a broad independent inquiry.

It is incumbent on all of us to examine the bigger picture and assess the significant harms being inflicted on our society in the pursuit of a very narrow concept of ‘health’. We must re-establish the importance of our basic rights and freedoms and reflect deeply on what kind of society we wish to live in.

We believe there is a better way forward for Victorians and all Australians. A path founded on the principles of good medical practice, including:
  • Openness and Honesty
  • Humility and Consultation
  • Collaboration and Respect for Autonomy
  • To always encourage with Care, Hope and Reassurance;
  • Never to provoke Fear, Panic or Terror.
In light of these concerns we respectfully call for the following seven actions:
  • An open, honest and transparent discussion with the general public, with easily accessible information made available about the evidence and underlying assumptions used to inform decisions about the management of the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak. This should include, in particular, the evidence to justify the grave impacts on children and adolescents as well as clear estimates of the broader health and socio-economic costs and impacts
  • More collaboration and engagement with a broader range of medical specialists, other healthcare professionals and a diverse group of interdisciplinary leaders who can inform and assist in responding to the growing public health and socio-economic crisis we are witnessing, especially among the young, the disadvantaged and the vulnerable in our community.
  • An urgent review of the role of State of Emergency and State of Disaster powers in the management of public health issues and crises, with consideration given to how other more democratic approaches could be utilised in the future
  • An urgent review of the general management of pandemics in Australia, including an examination of the need for better communication, coordination and collaboration between State and Federal Governments. There is also an urgent need to establish clear and well-defined ‘stand-down’ parameters, in case of ‘false alarms’ or when it becomes foreseeable or evidential that the harms of the controlling policies are greater than the direct health impacts, or fatal potential, of the disease under consideration.
  • Consideration of the Commonwealth Government taking on greater responsibility and a more central role in organising and implementing a coherent and effective nationwide response in the management of future pandemics and national public health crises.
  • Consideration of an international initiative to create reliable and effective ‘early warning systems’ which would deliver accurate assessments of the dangers and realities of emerging pandemics, and would assist in more considered and proportionate responses to bio-security threats in the future.
  • Finally, we implore the governments of Australia, state and federal, to be ever mindful of the balance between loss of freedoms and basic rights and the promotion of public health, never losing sight of the potential for collateral harms to exceed the effects of the disease being managed.

Covid culture in a nutshell

“Let's go out to eat, 2020 style...

1. Arrive at restaurant, fish three month old single-use surgical mask out of car's filthy cupholder (still slightly sticky from this morning's 84oz Pepsi).

2. Strap up with three month old single-use surgical mask.

*MAGICAL ANTI-GERM BARRIER ENGAGE!!!*

3. Proceed into restaurant, opening door with same handle grabbed by 200 people so far today.

4. Hostess has immediate seating for your woke party of three. Walk past entire restaurant of unmasked people. It's ok, they're sitting.

5. Sit down.

*SEATED ANTI-GERM FORCEFIELD ENGAGE!!!*

6. Safely within your anti-germ forcefield, remove mask. Browse menu while making relaxed inhales of the same recirculated AC air previously inside the lungs of the 200 people that also grabbed the door handle.

7. Waitress drops off drinks bare handed.

8. Grab drink with your bare hand. Sip leisurely, secure in knowing you're within your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness.

9. Too many drinks. Need to pee. Don the magical anti-germ barrier mask as you leave your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness.

10. Walk past 40 unmasked restaurant patrons. Open bathroom with same door knob grabbed by 100 other people so far today.

11. Return to table past same 40 unmasked restaurant patrons.

12. Remove mask. Once again safe in your anti-germ forcefield of seatedness. Waitress takes your sweaty drink glass with her bare hand, refills, hands back to you. You accept with your bare hand. Grab some bread and eat it. Same hand. Yum Yum.

13. Meal complete. Mask on. Walk past 40 unmasked patrons. Make full body contact with at least 4 people waiting at the hostess stand as you squeeze your way back to the door - no matter, they're all also wearing their magical anti-germ barriers.

14. Grab exit handle, which you are now the 220th person of the day to touch. Eating out successful.

15. Breathe a sigh of relief knowing that even after leaving the protection of your home and venturing out into the scary world of the public, you are essentially sterile thanks to your state approved methods of magical germ mitigation.

They have a working prototype healthpass that's now going into testing...

It's called CommonPass and can be used to validate one has either tested negative or been vaccinated before being allowed to board a plane.

It's been developed by the world economic forum and a Swiss non-profit.

Maybe soon they expand this out not only for covid but to all other vaccinations that our rulers decree!

This is a good podcast featuring Whitney Webb, I haven't listened to all of it yet, but they talk about articles appearing in mainstream media where ex-CIA officials, neocons and other disturbed individuals, are warning about a coming bioterror attack. The alleged potential perpetrators are, according to these individuals, white supremacists aligned with ISIS or Iran or some other party. You just can't make this stuff up.

Anyways, it wouldn't surprise me if they try to pull off a bioterror false flag in the near future, since they can't keep up with the COVID-19 hoax forever.

Here's one example of such an article:

Regardless of the source of the coronavirus, it is now a roadmap for future bioterrorism. The damage has been quick and enormous — much greater than 9/11 — and worldwide. The responses have been predictable and ineffective. And the cost of a potential weapon such as this is close to zero. It represents the perfect asymmetric warfare strategy, and there should be little doubt these lessons are being studied carefully by military planners in North Korea, Tehran, Moscow, Beijing and desert caves throughout the Middle East.

Hi all, it has been awhile since my last post on the following thread though I was keeping an eye on it, some news from Italy.

As you know in different european countries at least, the 'authorities' are flexing their draconian-authoritharian muscles by imposing stricter draconian rules, partial lock downs and so on, so far in Italy the numbers of 'contagious' people has been low while in the meantime in other European countries the numbers were increasing by each passing day. This got me suspicious considering that Italy has been one of the first countries in Europe to apply a full lock down back in March where police, the presstitutes and the politicians were acting almost as they were the protagonists of the V for Vendetta movie.

To make the story short, 'finally' the numbers of contagions are increasing (i was beginning to worry, sarcastically speaking) and the 'scientific committee' were going to advise the MP on a new set of draconian rules starting today though they've decided to wait till 15th October when the emergency state expires. In the meantime the numbers of 'contagions' will increase even more and they will be able to shoot two pigeons with a stone:

first by extending the emergency state till 2021 perhaps, that serves them as an umbrella that theoretically protects them legally from any potential lawsuit as enemies and criminals of the public they are because of how they handled this plandemic scam.

And second by tightening even more the few rights peeps still have, it's unclear yet what the draconian policies will imply though me thinks they will be very similar to those in other European countries, affecting the food and beverage businessess, hospitality businesses and other already vulnerable branches of the national economy that will have very dire consequences on many people's lives.

How the MP is going to keep afloat the sinking economy? By receiving from the EU Central Bank, if I'm not mistaken about 200 billion € of which only a small part will be spent in order to keep afloat the economy the rest of the sum is being planned to be spent in order to sponsor about 557 'post covid' projects that basically stripped of their ponerized and psychopathic double meaning, it means that those projects will be implemented in order to reset the economy and every aspect of the political, social, cultural aspect of the society basically financing the psychopaths wet dream, a Brave New World.

Of course we knew it all along though it's fascinating and interesting that finally they're getting out the skeleton from the closet.

By pushing with this agenda, stripping people of their rights, treating them as filthy criminals the pressure will rise inside people and sooner or later it will reach a breaking point and then the snowball will start rolling as the C's have mentioned.

In the meantime you have to keep cool under pressure, keep your inner peace, prepare, be wise as serpents and gentle as doves, be true to your true nature and fear nothing and of course enjoy the show.

Tucker at his best about Trump and Corona:
So, listening to the part about the Dems insisting there's too much Covid danger to hold SCOTUS confirmation hearings, the Pelosi remark about arrows in quiver starts to take on a more ominous connotation:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi: "... protecting our democracy requires us to use every arrow in our quiver."

So Trump suddenly gets Covid, possibly at ACB's Rose Garden ceremony, gets treatment, and then he declassifies spygate documents. Maybe Trump's code name should be changed to Robin Hood, the champion archer!

And that happens because the current president defines himself as a social democrat, which is totally incompatible with the founding principles of the political party. Unfortunately, the party has been infiltrated by post-modernist, identity-based movements. a.k.a Liberals.
As an Argentinian myself, I question their decisions to extend the lockdown the way the did. The last week they established that people will be forced to stay in their house starting 8pm until 6am. Compared to other countries, we have a lively nocturnal night, wether it's restaurants, coffee places or public spaces. These measures hurt us even further. Granted, most of that enforcement is taking place in the central areas, not much in the "suburbs", but people are scared and businesses are starting to fade. The week prior to this decision, I visited few restaurants to experience what freedom feels like again, and there were TONS of restaurants and places with the sign "For RENT" hanging on their doors. It was depressing! We sell car parts, and still experience a massive drop in purchases (Around 40%).

The streets are almost empty and there are COVID-19 buses parked near govt buildings, performing tests to those willing to take it. The lines formed for these tests are... quite long, let me tell you. They go around the whole block. However, I do wonder how much they will fake the numbers to inflate the amount of cases to justify this bull****.

I don't know how much money my president got in his pockets to keep this up, and I don't know what's their battleplan long term (if there's any), but people are losing their jobs and their lives because of it. I am honestly surprised people bent over and accepted this. We always were very heated and temperamental, yet... here we are.

If there are protests going on, they are probably being silenced.

Things are showing no sign of improvement, I'm already planning to leave the country. While I know the Cs always said "It doesn't matter where you are but who you are and what you see", I don't feel comfortable here any longer. I also know every country is experiencing their own hell, but our money is losing more and more value everyday. I have no idea how long I'll be able to tank it.

Why is Trump so pro "warp speed' Covid vaccine - approval? Does he think a vaccine approval will be what ensures his reelection? Orrr... Trump being ironically strategic?

"Political Hit Job!" - Trump Slams FDA's Guidance Precluding COVID-19 Vaccine Before Nov. 3

Update (2115ET): Clearly bored at the residence with nothing on his calendar and nothing to do really but take his meds and rest, President Trump has been on fire, tweeting throughout the day, beginning early in the morning on the East Coast, and continuing well into the night.

In his latest tweet, sent just minutes ago, Trump bashed the FDA's newly released guidance on the requirements for receiving emergency-use approval for any and all of the many COVID-19 vaccine projects underway. The FDA published the guidance earlier, but cautioned that top officials had spoken with all of the drug companies and that they are well aware of what's expected of them.

Of course, the provision requiring at least 2 months worth of data pretty much precludes the possibility of approval before election day. Trump clearly doesn't want that. So - as he often does - he's using twitter to push back. He even tagged FDA head Dr. Stephen Hahn, who has already apologized profusely for appearing to kowtow to Trump's political whims.
The irony is that by bashing the FDA so publicly, Trump is effectively backing the agency into a wall, forcing them to resist his overtures, or risk losing the faith and support of the public. Though, to be fair. The agency knows public trust in the vaccine process is alarmingly low to begin with, and they need to help build it up any way they can.

Update (1550ET): After the FDA stiff-armed the White House's attempt to remove a provision from the public-health agency's emergency use authorization guidelines, White House insiders are telling WSJ that they accept the FDA's plan, bolstering claims made by FDA Director Dr. Stephen Hahn that the agency wouldn't be swayed by Trump after appearing to kowtow to the administration.
So, is Trump (and Ivanka) just giving the illusion of being pro-vax? Could that stance radically change post-election?

Covid experts: there is another way

Three eminent epidemiologists met in Massachusetts to plan a better response to the pandemic

BY SUNETRA GUPTA, JAY BHATTACHARYA AND MARTIN KULLDORFF

As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical, and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection.

Coming from both the left and right, and around the world, we have devoted our careers to protecting people. Current lockdown policies are producing devastating effects on short and long-term public health. The results (to name a few) include lower childhood vaccination rates, worsening cardiovascular disease outcomes, fewer cancer screenings and deteriorating mental health – leading to greater excess mortality in years to come, with the working class and younger members of society carrying the heaviest burden. Keeping students out of school is a grave injustice.

Keeping these measures in place until a vaccine is available will cause irreparable damage, with the underprivileged disproportionately harmed.

Fortunately, our understanding of the virus is growing. We know that vulnerability to death from COVID-19 is more than a thousand-fold higher in the old and infirm than the young. Indeed, for children, COVID-19 is less dangerous than many other harms, including influenza.

As immunity builds in the population, the risk of infection to all – including the vulnerable – falls. We know that all populations will eventually reach herd immunity – i.e. the point at which the rate of new infections is stable – and that this can be assisted by (but is not dependent upon) a vaccine. Our goal should therefore be to minimize mortality and social harm until we reach herd immunity.

The most compassionate approach that balances the risks and benefits of reaching herd immunity, is to allow those who are at minimal risk of death to live their lives normally to build up immunity to the virus through natural infection, while better protecting those who are at highest risk. We call this Focused Protection.

Adopting measures to protect the vulnerable should be the central aim of public health responses to COVID-19. By way of example, nursing homes should use staff with acquired immunity and perform frequent PCR testing of other staff and all visitors. Staff rotation should be minimized. Retired people living at home should have groceries and other essentials delivered to their home. When possible, they should meet family members outside rather than inside. A comprehensive and detailed list of measures, including approaches to multi-generational households, can be implemented, and is well within the scope and capability of public health professionals.

Those who are not vulnerable should immediately be allowed to resume life as normal. Simple hygiene measures, such as hand washing and staying home when sick should be practiced by everyone to reduce the herd immunity threshold. Schools and universities should be open for in-person teaching. Extracurricular activities, such as sports, should be resumed. Young low-risk adults should work normally, rather than from home. Restaurants and other businesses should open. Arts, music, sport and other cultural activities should resume. People who are more at risk may participate if they wish, while society as a whole enjoys the protection conferred upon the vulnerable by those who have built up herd immunity.
