I think people need to realise the response from governments is no longer about the virus. The virus is simply being used as cover.

This is not dissimilar to how 911 was used. The response wasn't about safety or security but about population control.

Once we factor this in then we realise the governments aren't irrational but are in fact acting rationally and in the self interest of the PTB.

Covid won't end until they completed their objectives at which point something new will come up to ensure they keep the public in a state of disequilibrium.

Trump Has Been 'Symptom Free' For 24 Hours As Labs Detect COVID-19 Antibodies, Doctors Say

In the latest update on President Trump's condition, Navy Commander Dr. Sean Conley revealed that Trump hasn't had a fever in 4 days, and that he's been symptom-free (aside from a few brief bouts of 'roid rage-inspired tweeting) for 24 hours.

Trump's vital signs, including oxygen saturation, are all normal, and Trump hasn't needed any supplemental oxygen since his blood-oxygen level dropped below 94% on Friday.

Notably, the president's labs have begun to detect the presence of antibody production, compared with his initial positive Thursday night, where antibodies weren't detected.
The news comes as CBS News reports that Trump and his team have recorded another video of Trump - this time from inside the White House (Trump is supposed to be confined to the West Wing) - and are reportedly weighing whether to publish it.

Meanwhile, aides for the president have told reporters that Trump is still insisting on debating Joe Biden in person next week. There's even been talk of agreement on using safety precautions like plexiglass.

With the presidential calendar still blank, Trump has been firing off tweets at a pretty steady clip all day, slowing only slightly as we head into the afternoon.
After Trump knocked stocks into the red with a single tweet Tuesday afternoon, the market has continued to rip higher, juiced by Trump's calls for smaller tactical stimulus bills. Trump received his final dose of remdesivir Tuesday evening at the White House.

He may not have a fever, but HE'S ON FIRE! 🔥🔥🔥

Brooklyn’s Orthodox Jews burn masks in uprising against Gov. Cuomo’s new anti-Covid synagogue occupancy restrictions (VIDEOS)

Crowds of angry Orthodox Jews filled the streets of a Brooklyn neighborhood after New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced strict Covid-19 restrictions that would limit occupancy in synagogues.

Protesters in Borough Park, a largely Orthodox area of Brooklyn, burned a pile of discarded masks in the middle of the road. A video posted to social media shows New York City firefighters arriving at the scene to put out the blaze.
The protest reportedly continued into the early hours of Wednesday, with men in traditional Orthodox costume marching through the area.

The unrest comes after Cuomo declared the Orthodox neighborhood a coronavirus “red zone” and ordered local schools and ‘non-essential’ businesses to close. The targeted lockdown will also limit occupancy in houses of worship.

In a statement, Orthodox lawmakers from the community accused Cuomo of orchestrating “a duplicitous bait-and-switch.” They claimed that Cuomo had promised them that synagogues would be permitted to operate at 50 percent capacity, only to announce hours later that houses of worship in ‘red zones’ would be limited to 10 individuals, regardless of their size.
Community leaders have vowed to defy the order, local media reported.

Radio host and local celebrity Heshy Tischler said that he would file a court order to “hold Cuomo and the idiot [Mayor Bill] de Blasio” in contempt of a recent court ruling that blocks New York State from singling out religious gatherings when imposing coronavirus restrictions.

Medical Doctor Warns that “Bacterial Pneumonias Are on the Rise” from Mask Wearing

“A group is suing Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum and Tulsa Health Department Executive Director Bruce Dart, saying the city’s mask mandate is harmful to healthy people,” reports Activist Post. The group includes business owners and two doctors who “are asking the city to immediately repeal the mask mandate which was passed by city council last month.”

At a press conference, optometrist Robert Zoellner said:

“…the fear factor has got to step back. This idea that I don’t want to give you something that I don’t even know that I have is almost at the point of ridiculous. Let’s use some common sense.”
Dr. James Meehan, MD followed by warning that mask wearing has “well-known risks that have been well-studied and they’re not being discussed in the risk analysis.

“I’m seeing patients that have facial rashes, fungal infections, bacterial infections. Reports coming from my colleagues, all over the world, are suggesting that the bacterial pneumonias are on the rise.
“Why might that be? Because untrained members of the public are wearing medical masks, repeatedly… in a non-sterile fashion… They’re becoming contaminated. They’re pulling them off of their car seat, off the rearview mirror, out of their pocket, from their countertop, and they’re reapplying a mask that should be worn fresh and sterile every single time.”
Dr. Meehan adds:

“New research is showing that cloth masks may be increasing the aerosolization of the SARS-COV-2 virus into the environment causing an increased transmission of the disease…”
In conclusion, Dr. Meehan states:

“In February and March we were told not to wear masks. What changed? The science didn’t change. The politics did. This is about compliance. It’s not about science… Our opposition is using low-level retrospective observational studies that should not be the basis for making a medical decision of this nature.”

Anti-government activist Ammon Bundy shows up to son's football game forcing it to be canceled at halftime because he refuses to wear a mask or leave

An Idaho high school football game was canceled after anti-government activist Ammon Bundy refused to wear a mask or leave school grounds.

The game on Friday in Caldwell between the Emmett Huskies and Caldwell Cougars was called off after Bundy, 44, violated coronavirus health protocols, KTVB-TV reported.

The Emmett resident, whose son is a linebacker on the Huskies' team, ignored a request by school officials to wear a mask in the stands and then moved to a fence in the parking lot near the field to continue watching the game. [Sorry - not good enough]

Bundy, 44, later shared a series of videos from Caldwell High School. One clips shows the man arguing with his son's coach, saying that standing up for people's rights is more important than a football game. Police were called but refused to arrest or remove Bundy

A school principal and athletic director repeatedly asked Bundy to wear a mask and then requested that police arrest the man for trespassing, authorities said.

Officers told school officials they would not arrest or remove Bundy because he 'wasn’t out of control and didn’t appear to be a threat to anybody.'

School officials stopped the game at halftime, with Emmett leading 35-0, after Bundy refused school and police requests to leave the property, reported Idaho Statesman.

Bundy recorded a series of cellphone videos documenting his standoff with school staff.

In one video, Bundy is seen arguing back-and-forth with his son's football coach, who tries to explain to him that if the game is called and the Huskies end up forfeiting the game, they will not go to the playoffs.

The Emmett school superintendent tacitly blamed Bundy for derailing the Huskies' season

'When are you gonna stand for freedom, coach?' Bundy demands. 'Is it worth a football game? Yes, it's worth it...I'm not just doing it for my boy; I'm doing it for you and your family.'

The coach warns Bundy that his actions will harm a lot of people.

'You know what's going to harm more people? Allowing this stuff to go on,' Bundy shoots back. 'You know that, you're a history buff.'

The last comment apparently refers to Bundy's penchant for drawing comparisons between the perceived violations of rights related to the enforcement of face mask rules, and the atrocities committed by the Nazis during World War II, as well as to the treatment of African-Americans in Jim Crow South.

As angry parents were leaving the stadium on Friday evening, some confronted Bundy about his conduct.

'I will not put on a mask! I have a right not to put on a mask!' he yelled. 'You guys should be brave enough to do the same thing.'

Bundy is best known for leading a 2016 occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in Oregon along with his rancher father. He is pictured meeting with Harney County Sheriff David Ward during the 41-day standoff

Police said they planned to submit a report to the Canyon County prosecutor.

Speaking to NBC News, Bundy sounded a defiant note and expressed no regret for causing the cancellation of his son's game.

'I have a strong belief in my right to choose to wear a mask or not,' Bundy said. 'And If they think somehow there's a safety issue, then they need to section off a part of the bleachers to accommodate for those of us who believe differently than others.'

Just an update to this post:
Dr. Martin Feeley is no longer clinical director of the Dublin Midlands Hospital Group. Although the HSE (Health Service Executive) of Ireland advised him that his outspoken opposition to the official narrative made his position 'untenable', he was effectively fired.

But he refused to go away and has continued to voice his opposition to the lockdowns and restrictions placed on people's freedoms and livelihoods.
In an interview on the public service broadcaster, RTE, he had this to say:
"I can tell you, the mood of the country is depressed," he told Miriam O'Callaghan (Presenter of current affairs program 'Prime Time'). "Someone has to stand up for these people."
"The country is depressed," he explained in an interview with the Sunday Independent. "They're depressed - and what is even worse, individuals are scared, they are frightened. It's partly fear. People are living in abject fear. We are in a panic.

"If the Spanish Flu was sweeping across the country, it would be good to be frightened, it would mean people would mind themselves. But the Spanish Flu is not sweeping across the country. This is not an indiscriminate killer - we know now it is a condition that discriminates heavily against people we can identify."

Originally from Co Roscommon, the doctor says he has heard reports from the north-west of concern about the rate of suicide in the region. "Suicide is the ultimate metric of depression. The real picture of it won't emerge for another two years. This is the tip of the iceberg that doesn't accurately describe what is under the water.

"I am just saying: we should look at the cost - no-one is looking at the cost. Not just money, although that's a part of it. It's the lifestyle, the cost to quality of life, to youth.

"We're saying to 19-year-olds: 'Stop your life, you can start living again when you're 21.' No one took my youth off me and I'd have been marching down the street if they'd tried."
He believes we should look behind such authoritarian reactions: "They are manifestations of the absolute panic and fear in the community, which is evidence of the scaremongering by Nphet ( National Public Health Emergency Team aka Ireland's Scientocracy) How else can you describe official warnings to stay away from your nearest and dearest, as contact with them could prove lethal?"

Asked why other medical professionals have not come forward with similar views to his he says;
"When you buy into something completely, it's much harder to come off track later and come out and say it. That's my excuse for people from the medical side not putting their head above the parapet, instead of saying: 'We need to think about this again.'

Finally, he's not concerned with the loss of his own job, considering the greater loss to others;
I lost my job for speaking up but look at all the others who have lost work, salaries, maybe businesses and can't pay their mortgages and no one is talking about them.

"Me losing my job is nothing compared to that," said Dr Feeley.

This was a happy ending for freedom lovers, because the police refused to arrest or remove Bundy. It doesn't hurt that he's probably famous where he is for the 41 day standoff. However, a lot of people were not happy, with their high school football team forfeiting and missing the playoffs as a result. Also, there was a key difference compared with the tasered woman: he left the stands in the school and walked out to the parking lot, which is an act of good will.

Things are showing no sign of improvement, I'm already planning to leave the country. While I know the Cs always said "It doesn't matter where you are but who you are and what you see", I don't feel comfortable here any longer. I also know every country is experiencing their own hell, but our money is losing more and more value everyday. I have no idea how long I'll be able to tank it.

I completely feel you Cyrus Wallace. Melbourne has been destroyed and our Supreme Leader has zero intention of ever removing his draconian policies. If we're lucky we may get a week or two of lessor restrictions, but you can rest assured it will never last. We're going to remain in a state of lockdown until the SOE expires in March. And I'm sure Andrews will push for another extension at that time.

I want to escape also. But to where? The entire world has lost it's mind to some degree. Is there anywhere actually unaffected? Not to my knowledge. You'd think if there was people would be moving there in droves. But then again, it is rather difficult to move anywhere when international borders remain closed (probably until end of 2021 Scomo says). Hang on... what am I saying? We can't even move further than 5km from our own house!

Anyway, stay strong and keep fighting the good fight. At least we've got this forum. And I must say I am very much looking forward to the C's next update on this nightmare.

The draconian measures in Hollweird. And around and around they go.

The assistant commandant of the Marine Corps has tested positive for the coronavirus, days after he and members of the Joint Chiefs of Staff were in a Pentagon meeting with a Coast Guard leader who was infected with the virus.

The Marine Corps said Wednesday that Gen. Gary L. Thomas tested positive for COVID-19, becoming the latest to be infected by a virus that has afflicted President Donald Trump and an array of top staff at the White House. Thomas attended a meeting of the Joint Chiefs on Friday, and so far U.S. officials said none of the other top military leaders in the meeting — including Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — have tested positive.

Still, Thomas' positive test raises worrying questions about the health of the others at the meeting, including the chiefs of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and National Guard. Pentagon officials have been quick to stress that military preparedness has not been affected and that the nation's armed services stand ready to defend the country.

Thomas and the others have been in self-quarantine since Tuesday when they found out that Adm. Charles W. Ray, the vice commandant of the Coast Guard who was at the Friday meeting, had tested positive.

"At this time we have no additional senior leader positive test results to report," said the Pentagon's chief spokesman Jonathan Hoffman. “We will continue to follow CDC guidance for self-quarantining and contact tracing.”

The Marine Corps said Thomas “is experiencing mild symptoms, but otherwise is feeling well.” The Corps said Thomas will continue to quarantine at home, officials are doing contact tracing and any personnel who had been in close contact with him will also isolate.

Ray attended the Joint Chiefs meeting Friday in the so-called Tank — the classified meeting room in the Pentagon. Officials said that is where most of the military leaders were exposed to him, but he also had other meetings with officials.

The Marine Corps, in a statement, said the service has been following CDC guidelines “for temperature testing, social distancing to the greatest extent possible, and the wearing of masks when social distancing is not possible. The Marine Corps remains operationally ready to answer the Nation’s call.”

The news of the positive tests has stunned officials at the Pentagon. Top leaders there have largely remained free of the virus, although there have been a number of outbreaks across the active-duty force and the reserves around the nation and overseas. Overall, more than 47,000 service members have tested positive for the virus, as of Monday; 625 have been hospitalized and eight have died.

Here in the UK, they are now starting to shut down the hospitality industry again. They are doing this piecemeal but that's the direction.

After October, the furlough scheme will close and the job retention scheme will come on. The job retention scheme requires companies to pay a certain proportion of the workers wage.

If the government shuts down certain industries from October, will they not be putting people out of work with no recourse to a wage as I don't think companies will pay a single cent to someone if they aren't working?

Well, Australia is still on a roll. A bill before parliament to amend the 1903 Defence Act seeks to give immunity from civil and criminal liability to authorised persons (including members of the Defence Force, APS - Australian Public Service, and authorised persons appointed by the secretary or the Chief of the Defence Force) in relation to disasters or emergencies. It includes members of a foreign defence or police forces. They only have to have 'reasonable belief' that they were acting in the interests of public safety during a state of disaster or emergency. This is commonwealth or federal legislation. I guess the govt has learned something from the situation in Victoria and is adapting.

Actually, this is interesting. Poland is working on something similar - such a large separation in terms of distance between the two countries, no? Methinks it suggests some sort of external coordination. Or a purely coincidental, yet surprising, meeting of political minds.

Hmmm...
