Been scrolling back through whatreallyhappened.com looking for some CDC stats posted regarding the recovery rates from Covid by age groups - even for people 74+ was over 94%. I meant to save that info but got distracted and forgot - I didn't open the article so not in my history. But anyway, this appeared back on Sept 21 - incident at a school board meeting:

It cut off at 2:20 so I don't know how it played out other than the one cop drew his taser.

Vid comments:
  • One true American amongst the Karen's.
  • Great man. In Spain they tried to arrest a woman for not wearing a mask, everyone around took off their masks.
  • He was obviously not allowed the same privilege to protest as BLM.
  • Thank god for people with his courage to stand up to this nonsense.
  • He’s a big guy and they can’t drag him out if he doesn’t want to. If everyone had the courage of this man the mask bull shit would be over tomorrow.
  • This is what REAL CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE looks like.
  • Bacteria-infested cloth muzzles of obedience
  • All those cowards in that room except the one man resisting actual tyranny.
  • That was a very brave man We need more, MANY more like him
  • Is this what the founders envisioned?
  • An important one, Tony! Looks like a scene from a communist, socialist or fascist country,1984.
  • For those of us who want to support law enforcement, incidents like this make it hard.
  • We will not forget this. We will not forgive this.
  • The Police are only following orders. Now where have we heard that excuse before ?
One dissenter among the above:
It’s pretty simple. If you’re scared of the virus, stay home, and let the rest of us live in peace.

I'm of the opposite view - if you're scared of the virus, you should stay home and let the rest of us continue with normal living in peace!

And we can see, the more this absurdity is allowed to continue, the more likely someone will be killed for not wearing a mask.

Covid-19 - the ultimate Divide and Conquer tactic, separating the hyper-frightened germaphobic authortarian followers physically and psychologically from those who still have common sense and comprehend the extreme importance of guarding/defending civil liberties and freedom.

Belgian Doctors publish open letter…

From link in previous post - TRUTH BOMB:
Open Letter from Medical Doctors and Health Professionals to All Belgian Authorities and All Belgian Media
AIER Staff – September 20, 2020

We, Belgian doctors and health professionals, wish to express our serious concern about the evolution of the situation in the recent months surrounding the outbreak of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We call on politicians to be independently and critically informed in the decision-making process and in the compulsory implementation of corona-measures. We ask for an open debate, where all experts are represented without any form of censorship. After the initial panic surrounding covid-19, the objective facts now show a completely different picture – there is no medical justification for any emergency policy anymore.

The current crisis management has become totally disproportionate and causes more damage than it does any good.

We call for an end to all measures and ask for an immediate restoration of our normal democratic governance and legal structures and of all our civil liberties.

‘A cure must not be worse than the problem’ is a thesis that is more relevant than ever in the current situation. We note, however, that the collateral damage now being caused to the population will have a greater impact in the short and long term on all sections of the population than the number of people now being safeguarded from corona.
[...]
The concept of health
In 1948, the WHO defined health as follows: ‘Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or other physical impairment’.3

Health, therefore, is a broad concept that goes beyond the physical and also relates to the emotional and social well-being of the individual. Belgium also has a duty, from the point of view of subscribing to fundamental human rights, to include these human rights in its decision-making when it comes to measures taken in the context of public health. 4

The current global measures taken to combat SARS-CoV-2 violate to a large extent this view of health and human rights. Measures include compulsory wearing of a mask (also in open air and during sporting activities, and in some municipalities even when there are no other people in the vicinity), physical distancing, social isolation, compulsory quarantine for some groups and hygiene measures.
[...]
Our immune system
For thousands of years, the human body has been exposed daily to moisture and droplets containing infectious microorganisms (viruses, bacteria and fungi).

The penetration of these microorganisms is prevented by an advanced defence mechanism – the immune system. A strong immune system relies on normal daily exposure to these microbial influences. Overly hygienic measures have a detrimental effect on our immunity. 12 13 Only people with a weak or faulty immune system should be protected by extensive hygiene or social distancing.
[...]
A highly contagious virus with millions of deaths without any treatment?
Mortality turned out to be many times lower than expected and close to that of a normal seasonal flu (0.2%).20

The number of registered corona deaths therefore still seems to be overestimated.
[...]
Meanwhile, there is an affordable, safe and efficient therapy available for those who do show severe symptoms of disease in the form of HCQ (hydroxychloroquine), zinc and AZT (azithromycin). Rapidly applied this therapy leads to recovery and often prevents hospitalisation. Hardly anyone has to die now.
[...]

From the distressing media images of ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome) where people were suffocating and given artificial respiration in agony, we now know that this was caused by an exaggerated immune response with intravascular coagulation in the pulmonary blood vessels. The administration of blood thinners and dexamethasone and the avoidance of artificial ventilation, which was found to cause additional damage to lung tissue, means that this dreaded complication, too, is virtually not fatal anymore. 47

It is therefore not a killer virus, but a well-treatable condition.

Propagation
Spreading occurs by drip infection (only for patients who cough or sneeze) and aerosols in closed, unventilated rooms. Contamination is therefore not possible in the open air. Contact tracing and epidemiological studies show that healthy people (or positively tested asymptomatic carriers) are virtually unable to transmit the virus. Healthy people therefore do not put each other at risk. 24 25

Transfer via objects (e.g. money, shopping or shopping trolleys) has not been scientifically proven.26 27 28

All this seriously calls into question the whole policy of social distancing and compulsory mouth masks for healthy people – there is no scientific basis for this.

Masks
Oral masks belong in contexts where contacts with proven at-risk groups or people with upper respiratory complaints take place, and in a medical context/hospital-retirement home setting. They reduce the risk of droplet infection by sneezing or coughing. Oral masks in healthy individuals are ineffective against the spread of viral infections. 29 30 31

Wearing a mask is not without side effects. 32 33 Oxygen deficiency (headache, nausea, fatigue, loss of concentration) occurs fairly quickly, an effect similar to altitude sickness. Every day we now see patients complaining of headaches, sinus problems, respiratory problems and hyperventilation due to wearing masks. In addition, the accumulated CO2 leads to a toxic acidification of the organism which affects our immunity. Some experts even warn of an increased transmission of the virus in case of inappropriate use of the mask.34

Our Labour Code (Codex 6) refers to a CO2 content (ventilation in workplaces) of 900 ppm, maximum 1200 ppm in special circumstances. After wearing a mask for one minute, this toxic limit is considerably exceeded to values that are three to four times higher than these maximum values. Anyone who wears a mask is therefore in an extreme poorly ventilated room. 35

Inappropriate use of masks without a comprehensive medical cardio-pulmonary test file is therefore not recommended by recognised safety specialists for workers.
[...]
A second corona wave?
A second wave is now being discussed in Belgium, with a further tightening of the measures as a result. However, closer examination of Sciensano’s figures (latest report of 3 September 2020)37 shows that, although there has been an increase in the number of infections since mid-July, there was no increase in hospital admissions or deaths at that time. It is therefore not a second wave of corona, but a so-called “case chemistry” due to an increased number of tests. 50
[...]
The vast majority of the positively tested “infected” persons are in the age group of the active population, which does not develop any or merely limited symptoms, due to a well-functioning immune system.

So nothing has changed – the peak is over.
[...]
Vaccine
Survey studies on influenza vaccinations show that in 10 years we have only succeeded three times in developing a vaccine with an efficiency rate of more than 50%. Vaccinating our elderly appears to be inefficient. Over 75 years of age, the efficacy is almost non-existent.38

Due to the continuous natural mutation of viruses, as we also see every year in the case of the influenza virus, a vaccine is at most a temporary solution, which requires new vaccines each time afterwards. An untested vaccine, which is implemented by emergency procedure and for which the manufacturers have already obtained legal immunity from possible harm, raises serious questions. 39 40 We do not wish to use our patients as guinea pigs.

On a global scale, 700 000 cases of damage or death are expected as a result of the vaccine.41

If 95% of people experience Covid-19 virtually symptom-free, the risk of exposure to an untested vaccine is irresponsible.

The role of the media and the official communication plan
Over the past few months, newspaper, radio and TV makers seemed to stand almost uncritically behind the panel of experts and the government, there, where it is precisely the press that should be critical and prevent one-sided governmental communication. This has led to a public communication in our news media, that was more like propaganda than objective reporting.
[...]
The official story that a lockdown was necessary, that this was the only possible solution, and that everyone stood behind this lockdown, made it difficult for people with a different view, as well as experts, to express a different opinion.

Alternative opinions were ignored or ridiculed. We have not seen open debates in the media, where different views could be expressed.

We were also surprised by the many videos and articles by many scientific experts and authorities, which were and are still being removed from social media. We feel that this does not fit in with a free, democratic constitutional state, all the more so as it leads to tunnel vision. This policy also has a paralysing effect and feeds fear and concern in society. In this context, we reject the intention of censorship of dissidents in the European Union! 43

The way in which Covid-19 has been portrayed by politicians and the media has not done the situation any good either. War terms were popular and warlike language was not lacking. There has often been mention of a ‘war’ with an ‘invisible enemy’ who has to be ‘defeated’. The use in the media of phrases such as ‘care heroes in the front line’ and ‘corona victims’ has further fuelled fear, as has the idea that we are globally dealing with a ‘killer virus’.

The relentless bombardment with figures, that were unleashed on the population day after day, hour after hour, without interpreting those figures, without comparing them to flu deaths in other years, without comparing them to deaths from other causes, has induced a real psychosis of fear in the population. This is not information, this is manipulation.

We deplore the role of the WHO in this, which has called for the infodemic (i.e. all divergent opinions from the official discourse, including by experts with different views) to be silenced by an unprecedented media censorship.43 44

We urgently call on the media to take their responsibilities here!

We demand an open debate in which all experts are heard.

Emergency law versus Human Rights
[...]
The predicted pandemic of millions of deaths seemed to respond to these crisis conditions, leading to the establishment of an emergency government. Now that the objective facts show something completely different, the condition of inability to act otherwise (no time to evaluate thoroughly if there is an emergency) is no longer in place. Covid-19 is not a cold virus, but a well treatable condition with a mortality rate comparable to the seasonal flu. In other words, there is no longer an insurmountable obstacle to public health.

There is no state of emergency.

Immense damage caused by the current policies
[...]

As doctors and health professionals, in the face of a virus which, in terms of its harmfulness, mortality and transmissibility, approaches the seasonal influenza, we can only reject these extremely disproportionate measures.
  • We therefore demand an immediate end to all measures.
  • We are questioning the legitimacy of the current advisory experts, who meet behind closed doors.
  • Following on from ACU 2020 46 https://acu2020.org/nederlandse-versie/ we call for an in-depth examination of the role of the WHO and the possible influence of conflicts of interest in this organisation. It was also at the heart of the fight against the “infodemic”, i.e. the systematic censorship of all dissenting opinions in the media. This is unacceptable for a democratic state governed by the rule of law.43
Distribution of this letter
We would like to make a public appeal to our professional associations and fellow carers to give their opinion on the current measures.

We draw attention to and call for an open discussion in which carers can and dare to speak out.

With this open letter, we send out the signal that progress on the same footing does more harm than good, and call on politicians to inform themselves independently and critically about the available evidence – including that from experts with different views, as long as it is based on sound science – when rolling out a policy, with the aim of promoting optimum health.

With concern, hope and in a personal capacity.

:jawdrop: WOW!!!!!

I’ve heard first hand from a Walmart shopper here in Florida that the store has removed most of its fencing and social distancing features. Other stores have made similar changes. This is in a state that supposedly has a never ending rise in coronavirus cases. What are people supposed to think when life returns to almost pre-covid conditions in some states while others are preparing for second lockdowns?

In any case, I think the policeman should have used common sense here. Worst case scenario is he's dealing with someone who isn't compliant but this is over a mask and they are in an outdoor space where the risk is next to zero. Best case scenario is he's dealing with someone who has a valid health related reason for not wearing a mask.

There's absolutely zero reason to escalate the situation and really, there's absolutely no reason to use a taser.

This is a classic case of a policeman escalating a situation because they think they are justified whereas common sense simply says it's not worth it.
I think it is good to try to understand from another person's point of view. Let's look at this through the police officer's point of view. School has highly visible rule to wear a mask, that almost everyone is following, but this woman is not. Police asks her to comply with the rule and she refuses. Police asks her to leave and she refuses. What would you have to police do now? Not from your point of view, but from the police's point of view. In other words, what is the solution that would make you happy and make the police happy?

I've encountered security who routinely have their masks below their noses or chins, which shows they don't care, but then their supervisors give them hell, and all of a sudden those same security are on my ass about wearing a mask. I gave them a way out to save their face before their supervisors. If not a win win, at least a compromise, and definitely not win lose.

Been thinking more about the current situation in Victoria where there are moves to arrest/detain 'conspiracy theorists' and in conjunction with the Julian Assange situation. I'm wondering if JA was chosen as a target to pre-condition Australians to current events. I mean there are plenty who could have been made an example of as JA has, but it's curious that an Aussie was chosen (or set up) given current events. It doesn't seem like to much of a stretch to relabel a whistleblower as a conspiracy theorist in order to make an example of them with the support of a proportion of the public.

The BMJ has published information about a leaked document called Operation Moonshot. It talks about massively increasing testing rates in the UK, though it mentions tests other than PCR, and also talks about digital passports.

Operation Moonshot is the name of the UK government’s newly proposed covid-19 mass testing scheme. The plan, revealed by The BMJ,1 involves an expansion of testing from the current hundreds of thousands of tests each day to 10 million a day by early 2021. But how does the government propose to do this?

How will testing increase between now and early 2021?
The documents show a proposed three stage rollout. They state that the UK will carry out between 200 000 to 800 000 tests a day between September and December 2020. This might break down to:
  • 200 000 tests a day on people with symptoms,
  • 100 000 a day on people without symptoms in local areas to suppress outbreaks,
  • 250 000 a day on people without symptoms in the NHS and care homes, and
  • 100 000 a day through national prevalence studies.
From December the plans propose increasing daily capacity to between two and four million. This would involve mass testing of all homes in local areas or whole cities when prevalence rises (430 000 tests a day), testing high contact professions such as teachers every week (100 000 a day), and testing people to allow them to enter high risk settings, such as visitors to hospital and care homes.

The plan then states that there would be “full rollout” in early 2021 to 10 million tests a day, to “enable people to return to and maintain normal life.” At this stage, weekly testing would be made available progressively to the whole population to allow people to go to high risk events by using a “digital passport” to show they have tested negative for the virus.

How will testing capacity be increased?

The documents talk about “buying large scale capabilities” from partners such as the drug company GSK to “build a large scale testing organisation.” However, under “potential partners for increasing laboratory capacity” the documents list only the company AstraZeneca. Under logistics and warehousing, the documents list potential partners as Boots, Sainsbury’s, DHL, Kuehne+Nagel, G4S, and Serco. Under workforce are listed universities, the Society of Microbiologists, and the British Society of Immunology.

Alongside mainly commercial partnerships, the documents also state that a number of new tests and technologies would need to be used, including some that do not yet exist.

“Delivering testing at the scale and level of ambition set by the prime minister is likely to mean developing, validating, procuring, and operationalising testing technology that currently does not exist,” the plans state. Lower sensitivity testing for “screening/enabling purposes” could also be used, with polymerase chain reaction (PCR) testing then used to “confirm positive results or in situations where accuracy is needed for highest risk individuals.”

Testing technology listed in the documents includes qrt-PCR, Endpoint PCR, LAMP, LamPORE, lateral flow antigen test, and whole genome sequencing. Two of these tests—lateral flow antigen tests and LAMP—are listed as having a “lower sensitivity” of between 80% and 100%.

Where will people get tested?

The documents propose venues such as general practices and pharmacies, workplaces and schools, and community based local testing sites.2 Testing may also be carried out on site at events before people can enter.

Are there any plans to get the public on board?

The documents show that there have been discussions over how to incentivise people to be tested. They point to enforcing testing “via a sanction-based model” or through “offering individuals opportunities/access from being tested,” such as being able to attend events.

What is a digital passport?

Testing for access to certain spaces features heavily in the documents, with reference to “immunity/virus free passports,” likely to be available through an app. The plans say that testing could be used to “give people assurance that, at least for a limited time, they are unlikely to have the virus and are at low risk of transmitting it to others.”

They say, “A negative test result (or potentially a positive antibody result) may inform not just whether you could attend an in-patient appointment, but if you go to work that day, access a venue, get on a flight or visit an elderly relative.” The documents also point to a “significant expansion” of testing funded and delivered by the private sector, such as in football stadiums to allow access.

Do the documents acknowledge any concerns?

Yes, although not in great detail. In reference to the non-PCR tests, it is repeatedly noted that “new types of test are likely to be less accurate [than PCR], introducing some level of risk.” In terms of how testing would affect behaviour, the documents say that regular testing “might make people behave in safer ways, by building covid-safe routines into their daily lives, or less safely by giving false a degree of comfort.”

However, the documents also say, “We will need to take some risks, experiment and evaluate carefully, and find out what works and what does not.”

How will the £100bn be spent?

This figure is mentioned only briefly in the documents. They state that “opening up the economy” and allowing the population to “return to something closer to normality” would cost “over £100bn to deliver.” The figure is not broken down.

What reason does the government give for Moonshot?

The documents state that the objective of the mass testing programme is to “utilise the full range of testing approaches and technologies to help reduce the R rate, keep the economy open and enable a return to normal life.” They say that Moonshot has been described by the prime minister as the “only hope for avoiding a second national lockdown before a vaccine, something that the country cannot afford.”

More details on the Alecia Kitts arrest from the Ohio Star:
Alecia Kitts drove an hour and a half from Marietta to Logan, Ohio to watch her son’s football game.

In the first quarter she was approached by an officer from the Logan Police Department because she was not wearing a mask.

The video below shows the three-minute encounter between Kitts and the officer.
[...]

According to Tiffany Kennedy, the woman who shot the above video, Kitts had not been warned for not wearing a mask prior to the officer approaching her. Kennedy also said that Kitts has asthma and that’s why she was not wearing a mask.

“There is no reason to tase someone and arrest them for not wearing a mask,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy also pointed out the female officer who is shown running toward the Logan officer and Kitts at the end of the video was not wearing a mask – pulling one out of her pocket as she was in pursuit.

“Alecia’s mom said that when the officer tased her, the current went through the bleachers and zapped the kid sitting there too.”

Kitts appears to be socially distanced from others in the crowd and sitting with her family. “There were only 25 or 30 fans from our town on our side,” said Kennedy.

The Logan Police Department declined comment and sent an inquiry to Captain Ryan Gabriel. The Ohio Star left a message with Captain Gabriel and will report back after making contact.

Alecia Kitts was contacted but had not returned comment before press time.

Sources indicate that Kitts was charged with criminal trespass and released on her own recognizance.
BTW - Hocking County is currently Level 1, the lowest Covid risk designation. So not a hotbed of disease.

Will the Logan County officer who attacked and assaulted Alecia Kitts be charged along with the person assisting in the criminal act? This officer is an obvious danger to society and should not be walking the streets.

September 25, 2020 at 4:49 pm
Was accused of belligerent or not the fact is that there is no reason for tasing a woman because she wasn’t wearing a mask from the video she was distant she was more than six feet from anybody except her own family so to say that that she was arrested for disorderly conduct that wasn’t even her charger charged with criminal trespass and how is it Criminal Trespass when she’s attending a football game that is a bunch of BS and I hope she’s got a good lawyer because that officer would definitely lose his job. That was police brutality in the very least

September 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Just a quick note. No State, county, city, or school for that matter has the authority to make mandates or laws overriding our rights as a citizen to wear masks. This is evident by the fact that every arrest, no matter where it has been, for not wearing a mask has been overturned in courts all over the country because judges know that these mandates are unconstitutional. Look it up yourselves. There are court public documents that confirm this. That is why in this instance they couldn’t charge her with not wearing a mask. They had to charge her with trespass because of the inability of anyone or anywhere to impose mask mandates. Likewise, there are multiple court cases all over the country where authorities have arrested business owners for being open and /or not adhering to mask and social distancing guidelines because that is all they are is guidelines there are no laws or mandates that can be enforced because they violate constitutional rights. The case will be thrown out and have an opportunity to sue because she does have that right. It has been found that a great many of the deaths attributed to covid-19 are fraudulent. Don’t be fooled by the mainstream mediator the medical mainstream establishment that makes money from sick people, they are playing us all. there are investigations going on all around the world for false reporting and multiple notices of death for the same person being reported by media and medical establishment that are false. Get a clue and stand up for your rights.

September 25, 2020 at 12:23 pm
They all need to be fired and sued. This is not North Korea!!!

September 25, 2020 at 11:48 am
At the beginning of the video, you can see the cop jerk his head like he cannot believe what he is hearing. Not sure what, but whatever it was triggered him and that led to him making the decision to arrest her.

September 25, 2020 at 11:11 am
What has this world come to? She was socially distanced and has asthma. The rules for masks are totally arbitrary and ridiculous. If the people around her didn’t feel threatened, this should have been dropped. #supportKitts

September 25, 2020 at 3:21 am
Why didn’t the people around her stop this?!! Having a disability DOES exempt you from wearing a useless mask. Fire that officer now, fire whoever decided a mask was needed outdoors and take back your rights or get ready for your boxcar.

September 25, 2020 at 2:41 am
The Ohio Governor Guidelines for outdoor sporting events included an exclusion for any medical condition preventing you from wearing a mask… the woman told the officer that she had asthma. I see a lot of money in this Mom’s future and I hope it ends up being Millions.

[more similar sentiments that she will sue and win big]

September 24, 2020 at 11:17 pm
Here’s an idea… Why don’t we start setting up a fund raising account for every person who gets arrested resisting this mask nonsense? If we start making it PROFITABLE for people to resist these Gestapo-like actions, maybe the police departments will be overwhelmed and forced to quit responding to ridiculous complaints like this one.

September 25, 2020 at 9:56 am
Accepting insanity begats insanity!

September 24, 2020 at 10:32 pm
Did the compliance fascists miss the part where she was OUTSIDE and Minding Her Own Business, peacefully. Looks like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, doesn’t it? The Taser Clown is supercop, now.

September 24, 2020 at 8:50 pm
hard to believe all the dumass around her not lifting a finger+

September 24, 2020 at 7:51 pm
That asshole did that to a member of my family, he would be bleeding! (I’m 70,I ain’t taking that shit.)

September 24, 2020 at 6:24 pm
Yes..Good for her for refusing and resisting a ridiculous reason to be arrested! If we are to become sovereign Americans of this Republic then we ought to act like it! She deserves a complete apology from the University and the local Police Chief. Now is the time for the silent majority to speak up LOUDLY in response to these ludicrous social engineering ploys plaguing our country at present. It’s been going on a long, long time, now, fortunately brazenly in the open, for Americans to finally see clearly, without a doubt, seeing these progressive, liberal dictates for what they are—-gross erosion of civil liberties, an egregious attempt at clamping down with draconian, marxist socialism.

September 24, 2020 at 6:18 pm
If the American people do not stand up to this mask NONSENSE it will not be long before the police will be kicking our doors down at 3AM to come inside our bedrooms to make sure we are in COMPLIANCE. Think I’m joking? I’m not! I hope she has the courage to sue the hell out of this Nazi ‘cop’.

September 24, 2020 at 4:45 pm
Unconscionable, ridiculous, and outrageously stupid. Unbelievable that we as American citizens entertain any of this absolute non-sense! Fire the cop…send him off somewhere far, far away, and apologize to the visiting parent who was humiliated at her son’s game for nothing, The comments alone about the game is outside, sun killing possible viruses, is sensible enough. Do we have to pander, explain ourselves, and submit to these outrageous assaults on our civil liberties? Hell no! She has Asthma…and these foolish people hand cuffed and arrested her?!
This time the cop was way out of line. The policy is ridiculous.

September 24, 2020 at 2:29 pm
This was totally uncalled for. These people are OUTSIDE! High school sports have instituted unnecessary rules just so they can play ball. But there are always exceptions and asthma is certainly one of them. This family group was distanced from others in the stands. That officer was way out of line grabbing the woman like he did. He didn’t explain anything or give her a chance to explain. He could have killed her by tasing on a metal bench!
Why didn’t others stand up for her? Everyone afraid?

September 24, 2020 at 1:10 pm
Wayne – If a cop tried to arrest me without any cause, I wouldn’t go without a fight either. He didn’t appear to have discussed the situation with her, he moved to arresting and handcuffing her – after tasering her on a METAL BENCH. For all he knew, he could have killed someone with a heart condition or pacemaker sitting nearby.

She’s going to get a nice settlement out of this one.

Dissenting opinions:
  • She has no one to blame for this but herself. She got what she deserved.
  • when asked to leave FOR ANY REASON and you refuse it is called criminal trespassing, when you resist arrest or detention is is called resisting arrest… and it will get your in trouble IN ALL 50 STATES!
  • more of the same sentiments
  • For all of you commenting, Logan did not make the mask wearing rule, Ohio High School Athletic Association did. Signs are clearly posted that a mask must be worn in the stands. Once she refused to wear the mask, after being asked nicely 5 times, she was told she would have to leave. When she refused to leave, she was arrested for trespassing, and after resisting, she was also charged with resisting arrest. If we don’t require spectators to wear masks, our athletics will be shut down, and the kids don’t get to play. Whether you want to wear a mask or not, when a business or place requires it, you wear it or stay home. Officer Smith was wearing a mask and it was pulled down during her resistance. Our kids had to be on lock down today because hot headed nasty people called in threats to the school over this. Act like adults, get all the information before you make comments on a situation you know nothing about. [witness said other officer involved was not wearing a mask]
Regarding the bolded sentence, how is that not legally sanctioned extortion - "the practice of obtaining something through force or threats."
I've already seen references regarding aggressive police action against those refusing to wear masks and The Milgram Shock Experiment:
One of the most famous studies of obedience in psychology was carried out by Stanley Milgram, a psychologist at Yale University. He conducted an experiment focusing on the conflict between obedience to authority and personal conscience.
Sadly, it's clear there's no shortage of those who feel the law is always in the right and must be obeyed or else face the consequences. And so we have that mindset vs those who realize the law isn't always right and needs to be exercised with fairness, reason, and with good conscience. And so, Divide and Conquer - neighbor vs neighbor - has been instigated over a virus with a 94.6% recovery rate for even those over 70. Plus the Nazification of the population - Jackboots R Us totally justified by our esteemed leaders! We know what comes of the "just following orders" justification.
“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

And the mask madness continues:
Commentary: The COVID mandates are about power, not science. It's time we all stop cowering.

First, remember that there have been violent mobs of people burning and pillaging American cities for months now, including the latest onslaught in Louisville, Kentucky.

Now also remember that large crowds of people have been gathering in the last week to lament the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Then ask yourself this: Under what absurd constellation of civic consciousness could it be deemed just with such a backdrop to arrest a man, merely for singing psalms outside in a town square with his fellow churchgoers?

Well, when the national religion is the mask, my country tis of thee, sweet land of tyranny. Signed, Moscow, Idaho.

That's where Gabe Rench was handcuffed and hauled to jail this week for protesting the city's mask mandate, which requires them to be worn in all public spaces — inside or out — where no social distancing is possible until January. Rench, who is running for county commissioner and also hosts a podcast called CrossPolitic, said he emailed the police chief earlier in the week to remind him that his duty was to the citizens — the vast majority of whom spoke out against the mask mandate at a recent city council meeting — and their liberties above all else.

But that same police chief was pleased to look on, though, days later while his deputies arrested Rench as he stood next to his mother and at least 100 others.

"They kept telling me 'I don't want to arrest you'," Rench said of the deputies. "I told them 'You don't have to.' I can't believe how they are blindly going along with this. They know how dumb this is but they care more about their job and their status and their security than doing what is right."

And just to put an exclamation point on the preposterous frivolousness of all this, the very same deputies who arrested Rench for not wearing a mask were seen by him after his two-hour stint in jail hanging out in the police station — with no concern for social distancing and not a mask worn in sight.

Example 666 that the mask isn't fundamentally about public health or science, but raw power and craven idolatry.

In the face of that, Rench sees a powerful Old Testament story of deliverance playing out. Sure, the feeble sheep are everywhere, but amidst that Gideon's army of 300 is forming. There is no place to hide now. There is no simple box-checking or lip service about what it means to be a Christian or an American.

"God is exposing our cowardice," Rench said. "As a nation and as individuals. But we can see the 300 now. We can see who will fight. We can see who is faithful. Our police chief needs to be shaken by them. Our city council is obtuse and stubborn and stuck and doesn't fear the people. But it should."

In the service of truth and righteousness. And therein lies the rub of all this. The pagan progressive hordes have no qualms about putting their ghastly stamp on the things of this world, whether it be science, education, entertainment, the law, and on and on and on while most of us simply bend the knee and beg to finally be left alone.

But you must know by now that you will never be left alone, not if singing psalms outside of your town square can get you thrown in jail while the anarchist next to you lights things on fire and is celebrated by the press and the NBA.

Not unless you find the Gideon inside of you. Not unless the levers of power come to fear you and your unapologetic pursuit of the good more than all else.

Here you must stand, like Gabe and the brethren refusing to cower. You can do no other.

An excellent article from a UK doctor published recently in the Daily Mail.

Dr JOHN LEE: This cure is worse than the disease

As every doctor has known since the time of Hippocrates, the primary rule every physician must obey is simple: ‘First, do no harm.’

The best surgeons I encountered during my career as an NHS consultant were those who knew when to stand back and not to operate.

They had the humility to understand when their surgical skills would not save a life, or usefully prolong one for the benefit of the patient.

I despair as I watch this Government, following a flawed scientific narrative, turn the challenge of a nasty coronavirus into a national tragedy and economic disaster.

Shamefully, it is doing so while the medical profession, cowed into bureaucratic obedience, offers endorsement through silence instead of constructive criticism.

Because the NHS behaved foolishly in the early days of the pandemic, admitting too many people and then forcing hospitals to discharge elderly patients into care homes, we have lost more people than our European neighbours, with some 42,000 deaths.

The Great Plague of 1665-1666 wiped out almost a quarter of London’s population in 18 months.

In living memory, the Hong Kong flu epidemic of 1968 cost some 80,000 lives in Britain, yet there were no demands then for a national or global shutdown.

Government policy has mutated from ‘protect the NHS’ to the very different aim of driving down cases in all age groups until an effective vaccine emerges in the spring, along with flowers and butterflies.

But the Government has taken action to destroy businesses without any proper cost/benefit analysis of their draconian measures.

Some people may find it too gruesome to ponder, but the Government and private companies routinely place a value on a human life.

The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) puts a figure of between £20,000 and £30,000 on what is known as a quality-adjusted life year, or QALY.

Any time an expensive new cancer, or cystic fibrosis, or heart disease drug is considered for use, it must first satisfy NICE’s rigorous, coldly-objective modelling of whether it is effective and offers value for money. In other words, is the cure worth the cost of the treatment?

If Boris Johnson were applying this same logic to his anti-Covid measures, data would be published to assess the projected savings in lives against the huge economic costs of pushing parts of the economy into hibernation and the huge loss in QALYs caused by the action taken.

The Government has failed to provide this analysis, either because they haven’t bothered to commission it, or because the results are just too embarrassing. The truth is that in their hearts, ministers probably already know that the cure is worse than the disease.

I am of course not suggesting that the elderly should be left to their fate because they only have a few years to live. But surely they must exercise their own judgment about what makes life worth living and whether to shield themselves from a virus that can be lethal to them but is very light on the young.

Contrary to what Mr Johnson seemed to be suggesting during his television address this week, we are not all equally at risk of Covid. Indeed, the virus discriminates viciously against the ill, the elderly and the obese. But I have never understood the bizarre moral equation that tries to justify shutting down swathes of NHS capacity and stops treating people who are ill today in order to protect people who might fall ill tomorrow from Covid.

It is the medicine of the madhouse, and I’m afraid that it has been the hallmark of the Government’s handling of this pandemic almost from the beginning. It will take many years for the NHS to make good on the non-Covid ill-health legacy caused by the actions taken.

Covid-19 has proved to be a disaster for this country but, increasingly, it is becoming a scandal. How can the Twin Horsemen of the ‘Coronapocalypse’, Sir Patrick Vallance and Professor Chris Whitty, go in front of cameras to introduce measures condemning thousands of British businesses to oblivion without taking a single question from journalists to justify their actions?

Chris Whitty’s background is in public health, a wide discipline, yet the only thing he has talked about in public for seven months is one disease.

What about the wider context of the nation’s public health, the spike in suicides, the depressions exacerbated by solitude, the missed appointments.

Our hospitals are operating at a fraction of their capacities. Oncologists warn of an extra 30,000 deaths from cancers currently going undiagnosed.

Stroke and heart attack victims are going untreated, diabetics are not being properly monitored, all to slow the advance of a virus that is currently killing fewer than 40 of the 1,600 people who die every day in the UK.

The worst thing about Mr Johnson’s latest pronouncement was his refusal to accept that ‘the science’ is by no means settled. He is following a cabal of committee men and women in the grip of groupthink.

I challenge the Prime Minister to organise a televised public debate so that those scientists and doctors who have no faith in his strategy can challenge his in-house ‘experts’. Diversity is how we approach truth.

We need to know who is advising whom, and what is the expected cost of shutting down the economy against the lives that hypothetically might be saved by the measures introduced this week.

At the moment the dissident voices are silenced, and all but squeezed off the BBC. This is a perversion of the way science progresses, through debate and dispute and the free exchange of evidence. Most urgently of all, his experts must explain what happens in the spring if, as I expect, the vaccine does not miraculously bring salvation.

Then the Prime Minister will have to accept that the cure he has adopted really is worse than the disease. Even more shockingly, he will learn the hard way that Pandora’s Box is open and the only ‘cure’ for this virus is to learn to live with it.

Judging by the comments section (which were not moderated) the article was very well supported. This is one response from oldun77, Worksop, United Kingdom:

A brilliant article which should be sent to every expert and politician in the land. I am nearly 79 so I am well into the at risk age group. I try to keep my self as a healthy as possible given all the problems that age can bring but I refuse to accept that I am old. I don't want to live a sheltered and protected life and I don't want my family to live with the thought that if they visit I might be infected by this virus. The doctor is quite right when he quotes the Hong Kong flu of 1988/89 {1968/69} which resulted in 80,000+ deaths. No one considered lockdown or shutting schools and businesses. We got on with life and mourned those who couldn't. There will never be a vaccine that will be 100 percent effective so we can only accept that. If people don't or won't be vaccinated then that is their decision and be prepared for the consequences.

Well said that man!

I learned a new word from reading the 15 August 2020 Session thread:

Hypercapnia

Hypercapnia, also known as hypercarbia and CO2 retention, is a condition of abnormally elevated carbon dioxide (CO2) levels in the blood.
Causes
... It may also be caused by ... rebreathing exhaled carbon dioxide. In this situation the hypercapnia can also be accompanied by respiratory acidosis.
Signs and symptoms
Hypercapnia may happen in the context of an underlying health condition, and symptoms may relate to this condition or directly to the hypercapnia. Specific symptoms attributable to early hypercapnia are dyspnea (breathlessness), headache, confusion and lethargy. Clinical signs include flushed skin, full pulse (bounding pulse), rapid breathing, premature heart beats, muscle twitches, and hand flaps (asterixis). The risk of dangerous irregularities of the heart beat is increased. Hypercapnia also occurs when the breathing gas is contaminated with carbon dioxide, or respiratory gas exchange cannot keep up with the metabolic production of carbon dioxide, which can occur when gas density limits ventilation at high ambient pressures.

In severe hypercapnia ... symptomatology progresses to disorientation, panic, hyperventilation, convulsions, unconsciousness, and eventually death.

I asked you directly a couple times, and didn't get an agreement.

So, assuming that you do agree with the sequence, I agree that in an ideal world, no one would be forced to put a mask on. However, Ohio is in the shutdown world. Then a question is how should she act in the shutdown world. She was asked to put a mask on, she refused, and the police wasn't going to force a mask on her. So she's asked to leave since she won't put on a mask. She could've left or sought a compromise. Instead, she tried to stay in the school without a mask when police asked her to put one on or leave. That is not a good idea. Do you agree it is not a good idea?

At this point, the police has no choice but to remove her including arresting her. As you can see in the video, she wasn't going to go willingly. What would you have the police do with a person physically refusing to leave the school? The taser is deadly force for you, so what you have the police do instead to remove her? They're not going to let her stay if that's what you want the police to do, because they're the shutdown police, not the constitutional sheriff.

There are lots of things that could've made things different, but none of them happened. It could've been different if she said ok I'm leaving, let me get my children and husband. It could've been different if she said I can't wear the mask because of medical condition but I can wear this face shield in my car and will that be good enough for you.
You are not saying it directly, but between the lines you are suggesting that the police (the government) are right. You are in no case right. Societies, by definition, exist in groups. This is human nature, and no government-imposed laws can change that.
If school grounds are made available for a match or other mass event, the associated risks are calculated. It was to be predicted that there were people with diseases that prevented them from wearing masks, and zones where these people could stay could be separated. They are able to assess the risk of infection themselves. Shooting a person with a taser is a crime, and there is a lot of evidence of it in cemeteries.

For those who don't know her, Rachel Elnaugh is a British entrepreneur who founded the UK gift company Red Letter Days. She was one of the investors who participated in the first two series of BBC Two's TV show Dragons' Den, so is quite well known here in the UK. I really hope she gets to speak at the anti-lockdown protest in London this Saturday.

She covered quite a lot of subjects in 27 minutes, including puppet politicians, the rise of fascism and use of fear, 5G, the 1%, Internet of Things, vaccine, divide and conquer techniques, our immune system, Bill Gates, fight or flight response and the need for non-compliance. The only obvious blind spot I could detect was that she supports the global 'warming' narrative. But overall it was a pretty decent summary of the agenda for control and a good video to share.

Thanks Gary and @SOTTREADER for bringing that up. What a lovely lady! It's amazing how fast so many people are connecting the dots. I wonder, have they all harbored such thoughts in secret before? I don't think so for the most part. It really seems that many people, suddenly realizing that we are ruled by a world government that is blatantly lying to our faces and taking our freedoms away, took a hard-core crash course in how this world operates. The "STO virus" might have something to do with it, too. I have seen an interview recently with a young woman here in Germany who is very active in the anti-lockdown protest movement and she repeatedly said that "we need to trust the universe", "the universe will always open new doors when you do the right thing", "we are joining to create a new reality" etc. I never have heard people talk in that way before outside of this group, although there might be some New Age milieus where it is more common. Then again, this woman didn't strike me as very New Agey. Clearly, something is happening - humanity seems to divide itself more and more, and perhaps realities will split for good at some point?

I found this to be interesting in light of covid and the push for individuals to surrender their freedom for the "greater good".

The "greater good" being a notion or concept created by those who rule.

It's very interesting and I think is just another thing that shows there's absolutely nothing good that will come out of this current trajectory lest people rebel enmasse against being led to their own demise.

I think a lot of people waking up now are instinctively feeling that the current trajectory actually leads them to their own demise and that of their family or loved ones. To be atomised, controlled, monitored, judged, shamed etc is clearly against individual liberty and self interest.
