drugol, the link to your post isn't showing. Would you please reinsert the link code as it is (without any extra pictures etc), and deactivate it by placing a line before "http", like you tried to do

Ok , already corrected it. Sorry for that.

You laughed? WHY???? She is sobbing and speaking like a CHILD. Exactly what about a woman in that condition do you find funny?

Well ,yes , but notice what I wrote in my post ,

I am not sure what should be proper laugh or sadness , but personally i couldn't`t stop laughing
This girl is so super-hyper sensitive that i cannot even understand it !

ps. I know ;P It is not THAT funny but still I have a good day today ;P and i wish you all the same
Smile more !

So you see , I know that the fact her husband is exploiting her in some way , and that she probably has some kind of issues and i do not find that fact funny at all , but i laughed at what she is speaking while crying - "did they get r2d2 put together" - I would never think like this about robot in a sf movie so first of all i don't understand it and second of all , I realize that laughter is not a remedy for everything , but I'll rather laugh than cry at things like this.

And i wish you more smile and laughter everyday instead of crying on Star Wars like girl on that website did :)

Don't understand me wrong , I found that website interesting from various facts , and i had a good laugh at r2d2 so i posted in it "tickle me"
subforum.

PS. Maybe i have some kind of mad laughter issue ? well that could be possible ...

This poor woman is so emotionally traumatized and dissociated that the instant anything reminds her of her own trauma, she dissociates into an infant personality. Geeze, she might even have DID. I am speechless at the cruelty of her husband.

My thought was the exact thing as what you just stated.

After watching about a min of the star wars & back to the future one- I thought.. maybe this woman is faking it. So I began to read the FAQ. Of course we have to take this guy's word for it... but here's some of the FAQ's that stuck out at me.

Q. Is she really crying or is she acting?

A.She’s really crying. The tears are 100% genuine.
Let's say what he says is true here.. this makes him a total narcissist for laughing while his wife is bawling her eyes out.

Q. Does she think the movies are real?
A. Of course not. She’s not that crazy!

She may not think the movies are 'real' but she's dissociating enough for them to have a very emotional effect on her.

Q. Does she cry after EVERY movie?
A. I wish! She cries after movies with happy/sad endings. Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle wont generate tears.

He wishes his wife cries after every movie?

Q.Has she always been like this?
A. My in-laws told me that she used to cry at the end of the Little Mermaid when she was 4 :)

I cried during the Little Mermaid when I was a kid too- that doesn't explain anything.

Q. Does she cry like that in the theaters?

A. Nope, only at home. It’s probably because she’s just more comfortable on our couch with me there.

Yet you film her and put it on the internet for millions of people to watch her cry while you laugh at her.

Q. What does she say about you posting these videos online?

A. She thinks it’s funny. She’s secure enough to laugh at herself.

Yea right... Guess we have to take his word for it once again.

Q. Does she ever get mad at you?
A. Maybe when she see’s this site ;) Just kidding! She’s actually writing the FAQ with me :)

Surrrrre she is.

Q. Do you ever get annoyed with her crying?

A. Ha! Not at all! I think it’s really cute. She’s crying about Darth Vader! What’s not to love?

Crying isn't supposed to be a 'cute' thing. Normal people say that when their loved ones are laughing or smiling.. not crying.

Q. Does she have any deep rooted issues that’s causing these kinds of breakdowns?
A. Naw. It would be a concern if she was always like this. She’s not. She just really gets into the characters and the story.

Ie. intense dissociation. Possibly a result of having DID.

Q. Do you, the husband, ever cry during movies?
A. I get choked up from time to time, but I’m too busy keeping in my laughter when Hollie is crying next to me :) And yes, I do comfort her, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say I can’t help smiling while doing so :D

How narcissistic is this guy? He enjoys it wholeheartedly while his wife cries for long periods of time.

Drygol, perhaps you should carefully consider why it is that you find this site funny. Do you relate with the husband of this girl? Or maybe someone laughed at you while you cried and you think that is 'normal?' Lots to think about imo...

No i am not related to this guy - i receive tons of links daily , that one was one of them.

Well , I do not know if I have issue with laughing , but i just didn't find is sad , that's the way I always was and still am , I am rather laughing than crying.
I also probably fail to speak my mind in English since its not my mother language. But , notice that i am not laughing at her dissociation nor at fact that her husband is exploiting her somehow - that is why i wrote PS. in a first post. There is also a possibility that they are doing whole thing just for money and they are faking - which is weird.

But to answer your question about someone laughing at me , i do not recall any trauma related to laughter or cry at the moment but I'll keep that in mind
I do not feel sad watching this site and maybe that is the problem with me.Anyway ,thanks for that insight about me I'll definitely rethink that issue.
Or maybe this is a problem with me spending to much time on line (job/hobby stuff)

This 'husband' is a prime example of someone living by the Juvenile Dictionary. Her tears spring from genuine grief, and her tears during happy moments tell me she doesn't have many of those moments in her life, how can you when your pain is ridiculed to this extent?

I don't understand humor at another person's pain, which is why I won't tolerate TV or shows like "Mad TV", which is all crap like this: laughing and making fun of other people.

On the other hand, this gal could just be an OP and what she is doing is sort of like a dog howling when someone plays the piano.

I might not understand what she's doing, and why.... but I KNOW what he's doing

Hmm , I must say i have a second thought on this subject.
Don't understand me wrong , I do not want to offend anyone , I am just curious.
Regardless the fact if it is funny or not and if a third person is laughing or being sad because of it , but looking at majority of replies it shows that these replies are not entirely objective - maybe it is only my view on it , correct me if am wrong but is it really possible to judge a pair of people without having a word with them and by just looking at their website ?
I am not defending this guy and his idea but personally i think it is not possible , there may be a lot of causes for which they or he made this website.
First one is simple - for money
Second one is more complicated - maybe he simply does not understand that he is doing a wrong thing , a kind of young guy who is having fun (from his point of view)
I could write more , but these two are enough to show my point.
So the bottom line is that I would be far from saying that someone is sick or is having fun at someone else expense just by looking at his website.
Also , objective view on it requires a word about this guy himself , he also might be a victim.
What I am trying to say is what makes me different from this guy that I can receive a question that for Deedlet asked
and this guy not ?

And that lead me to a C`s saying that we can only be sto candidates , that we cannot be fully sto at the moment , maybe because our life is based on judging ?
I wonder what you think about above. Do i make sense ? or I am missing something ?

Eh, I think you're over-complicating things here. It's not so complicated. The evidence seems to suggest that the wife is really crying, she clearly has emotional issues when she cries so easily at such little things, but she DOES appear to be genuinely distressed, form her point of view.

So explain to me again how it is a funny thing that one person laughs at the distress of another. Or that it is funny that a person should create such a web site that is likely to have the effect of desensitizing people to the distress of others?

Maybe I'll send you a link to a crying Iraqi woman who just lost her children in an US military attack. Maybe if you try hard enough to intellectualize that one, you can find the funny side of it too.

Exactly. Who or what she is or why she is behaving that way is irrelevant. He, on the other hand, needs to be tarred and feathered just for starters.

The point is that I don not treat this website as an evidence , plus I am simply asking if what i just wrote makes sense or i am missing something.
Therefore i completely do not understand why you put a sentence like this one.
Is there something wrong in asking questions ?

Maybe I'll send you a link to a crying Iraqi woman who just lost her children in an US military attack. Maybe if you try hard enough to intellectualize that one, you can find the funny side of it too

Why should i laugh at this ?

Besides , I already wrote in my previous posts that I'll rethink my personal issue and last post was about something different , that's why i wrote

Although there has been some excellent analysis of this I cannot get a thought stream outta my head. We, (as a family), have always talked about being with so many people on this planet, if you can think of a situation, there is a person out there. Amazingly there are people situations out there I (we) have not considered. Be it "good" or "bad". The number of people, combinations, permutaions of possiblities to me are staggering.

This thread reinforces that thought of reality, it is what it is. They are out there and I am here...I like what the C's said that where you are does not matter, it is who you are and what you see that is the point... (paraphrased)

Some will laugh, others will not. This is and we are STS. Gotta remember the 3rd man principle. There is black and there is white, and there is grey in the middle. Supposed to be a matter of perception. Question is, where is perception crossing the line? What is the line?

I suppose shifting back in "time" and convincing his mother to get an IUD is completely out of the question :(
