DMSO - Dimethylsulphoxide

@Odin, you may wish to tell those using the DMSO about it’s one side effect. That is a sulfurous oder coming off the body. Kind of like cooked cabbage smell! They may not notice it, but it is noticeable to those around them!

After stopping DMSO, the smell goes away in 24-48 hours. Using DMSO crème, rose scented, helps to lessen this side effect.

I’m happy to hear your colleague has found rapid relief!

Yes, we have discussed it so he is informed about the smell that might come. I have noticed that the diluted DMSO smells more than the pure one, is this normal?

I already ordered two cremes but they do not have a rose scent; they are only 70% DMSO and 30% aloe vera.

My aunt is struggling with stress-induced tinnitus, and I am thinking of suggesting DMSO if she wants to try it. I have read somewhere(I can't find it now) that drops of DMSO can be applied in the opening of the ear for best results. Do you know anything about this, @Lilou?

•DMSO addresses many circulatory disorders such as hemorrhoids, varicose veins, venous and diabetic ulcers, and Raynaud’s
Just confirmed this couple days ago. Only after two applications at the site healing already started with swelling going down significantly. While rubbing excellent Vit-E fat oil from Vitacost and Aloe solution at the same site for days did not help and inflammation persisted. Not after only two applications of small amount of DMSO!
Its also shocking how this super-solvent is taken up into the body via (I guess) fluid streams? Blood, lymphatic system, because I could taste DMSO on my tongue, while eating a sweet lollipop-style snack yesterday.

I only bought DMSO, because you recounted in the Wave your rinse story with painful teeth. I have it since. But most dramatically now it helped with soft, sensitive tissue.

I guess, the softer the ailing tissue, the easier DMSO can have its effect?

How do you take it? Just swallow it ?
If its an outside injury, wash your hands to the cleanest state you can, then topically apply small amount of diluted DMSO anywhere on your body, even on your little toe. You'll be able to smell - and taste it in 1-2 days on your tongue.

I tried it to relieve a tension in some muscles AND IT WORKED LIKE MAGIC
A karate guy recounted on the net years ago that their dojo - martial arts training hall - was "swimming in the stuff". Karate is especially painful activity and it leaves you with lots of aching blue-purple-black bruises. So they must have liberally rubbed DMSO onto every body part they hurt during training.

I would like to chime in and say that I just experienced what is called a planters wart. I'm 74 and this just came from out of the blue. I can't fathom the cause as I have no history of what has been said to cause such a thing.

I applied DMSO with a Q tip to the affected area and also applied a cotton ball with some DMSO drops soaked on one side of it and positioned it over the that area and pulled my sock on. I did the same for 5 days. The planters wart has dissapeared. What a relief.

I use DMSO at full strength even on facial sun spot blemishes and on moles. I don't seem to mind the tingling burn as it only last for minutes.

The only other advice that I thought I should share is that it's not a one time application and done type thingy. You must stick to a routine at least for a stubborn planters wart situation.

Thanks to all for this incredible sharing forum.
