According to the research and experience of the SSGEOS (Solar System Geometry Survey) group, the past strong earthquake in the Philippines happened a bit early in the planetary alignment, so other large earthquakes should be expected.

Critical planetary geometry from 24 July to 1 August may result in major seismic activity. Most critical will be 29 July - 3 August when seismic activity may reach higher 7 to 8 magnitude after a convergence of critical geometry is followed by a high lunar peak.

BEIJING, July 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 30 km WNW of Tocopilla, Chile at 0415 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 44.45 km, was initially determined to be at 21.9814 degrees south latitude and 70.4681 degrees west longitude.

Campi Flegrei with earthquake Md 2.7

A magnitude 2.7 earthquake occurred at night beneath the Italian caldera volcano Campi Flegrei (Phlegraean Fields), with a hypocentre at a depth of 2.2 km. The epicentre was located on the eastern edge of the Solfatara. The quake can be classified as the strongest earthquake of a small swarm quake, as there have been a total of 11 earthquakes since yesterday.

Last week's bulletin confirmed that the ground uplift has decelerated. Previously it was 13 mm per month. The new value could not be determined yet. During the observation period 18-24.07.22, 30 weak earth tremors were recorded. Fumarole temperatures remained stable at 95 degrees.

Earthquake M 4.7 on Iceland under Reykjanes

Tonight there was an earthquake M 5.0 under the Icelandic Reykjanes Peninsula.

The hypocentre was located at a depth of only 300 m. The epicentre was located 3.1 km south of the Keilir volcano. The data are still very fresh and could still be corrected. Some media reports state that the magnitude was 5.5. If the low drift is correct, then cracks could have formed on the surface. Damage to infrastructure is also possible. The earthquake was clearly felt in the wider area.

The earthquake occurred in the course of the strong earthquake swarm that originated in the north of the Fagradalsfjall volcano and has since spread to the neighbouring fault systems. A magma intrusion is probably taking place under Fagradalsfjall. This changes the stress field of the region and faults are activated. In total, more than 2200 quakes were detected by 20:00.

Update: Crazy, even while I was writing the lines above, the data was corrected. The magnitude is now 4.7. The earthquake focus is at a depth of 1.1 km. The epicentre was 5.2 km west of Straumsvík, a town on the north coast of Reykjane. In addition, other green stars appeared at different locations. Two are in central Iceland, another star is near Katla. The quake there brought it to M 4.4. Possibly the automatic system is overstrained. I will keep you informed about the developments.
