WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT JULY 12_2023

As expected the following lunar geometries,
▪︎ Earth: Moon Jupiter on July 11/0⁰
▪︎ Earth: Moon Uranus on July 12/0⁰
▪︎ Earth: Moon Venus on July 13/90⁰
although present, would not have a major impact on seismic activity, however the following one (Earth: Moon Mars on July 13/90⁰) is expected to be critical. Is this the calm before the storm?

Geometry between the planets and the moon is becoming more critical in the second half of July, With Earth between Mars, Venus and Saturn. Powerful shaking may occur as a result. Second half of August will be similar with Neptune and even more critical.

Uruguay: Unusual strong earthquake shakes Canelones, felt as far as Montevideo

Earthquake detected in Canelones, Uruguay, this Wednesday, July 12, 2023, reports the Geophysical Observatory of Uruguay.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, an unusual earthquake occurred off the coast of Uruguay, approximately 11 kilometers from the city of Atlantida, in the department of Canelones. Specialists quoted by newspapers of the neighboring country reported that the tremor was felt even in Montevideo.

According to the newspapers El País and El Observador, which quoted the news agency Télam, the earthquake had a magnitude of 4.0 (readjusted to magnitude 5.0) and occurred around 5:40 in the area of Costa de Oro, in Canelones. Geologist Leda Sánchez, from the Geophysical Observatory of Uruguay, pointed out that the magnitude of the phenomenon must have been significant, since tremors were also recorded in Paso de los Toros, Tacuarembó, 255 kilometers from Montevideo.

Enrique Latorres, another member of the Observatory, stated: "It can be observed in all our stations in the country. It is quite large compared to what we have recorded lately". According to the Google alert system, the seismic event occurred at 5:43 in the sea, 11 kilometers inland from the coast of Canelones, near the interbalnearia route leading to Punta del Este.

The Intendencia de Canelones reported in the morning that it is investigating the incident and that, so far, it has not identified any damage or casualties.

So far there has been high seismic activity following the previous day's lunar geometry (Earth, Moon, Mars/90⁰ and Earth, Moon, Saturn/ 90⁰ on July 13) and current planetary conjunctions (Mars: Sun, Neptune at 0⁰ and Mercury: Venus Jupiter at 90⁰ on July 14)

An M6.5 earthquake occurred in the Gulf of Tehuantepec Mexico according to the Mexican Seismological Agency followed by numerous M4+ aftershocks with an M5.2 being the highest magnitude.

As of 4:00 p.m. (22:00 UTC) on July 14 2023 64 aftershocks of the M 6.5 earthquake have occurred in Chiapas, the largest of magnitude M 5.0, according to SSN

Tomorrow there will be another critical planetary geometry which will be preceded by a lunar geometry.
From July 13 to July 15 right angles (90⁰) reappear in lunar geometry and the time between planetary conjunctions and right angles is shortened making these periods very critical as this allows electromagnetic energy to concentrate.

●Other electromagnetic phenomena that could be added and observed in relation to earthquakes in the future.

On July 13, the Interplanetary Magnetic Field (IMF) had an index of 14 nT at 16:24 UTC, indicating that the Sun's magnetic field had a strong impact on the Earth's magnetic field.
The higher this value, the better it is for enhanced geomagnetic conditions. We speak of a moderately strong total interplanetary magnetic field when the Bt exceeds 10nT SpaceWeatherlive..com
This coupled with a direct impact on the Earth's magnetic field from a M6 solar flare observed at 18:08 UTC on July 11 that caused a radio blackout over North America.

July 11 was a very active day in terms of solar activity with seven M-class flares.

Many more conjunctions are expected within the period July 15-24.

What to expect next week?

From 15 to 20 July a series of 5 planetary conjunctions will likely cause a seismic increase, potentially reaching higher 6 to 7 magnitude.

20230715-overview.png

● Planetary geometry

▪︎ Mercury Sun, Neptune on July 15/ 90⁰ angle
▪︎ Sun, Mercury, Mars on July 16
▪︎ Mars, Mercury, Neptune on July 17
▪︎ Mars, Venus, Saturn on July 18
▪︎ Mars, Earth, Saturn on July 20
▪︎ Mercury, Venus, Uranus on July 23/ 90⁰ angle
▪︎ Venus, Mercury, Uranus on July 24/90⁰ angle

● Lunar geometry

▪︎ Earth: Moon, Mars on July 17/ 45⁰ angle
▪︎ Earth: Moon, Saturn on July 17/ 135⁰angle
▪︎ Moon: Earth, Saturn on July 21/
▪︎ Earth: Moon, Mars on July 21
▪︎ Moon: Earth, Neptune on July 23

In the second half of July lunar geometry with Mars and Saturn is becoming more critical, increasing the possibility of a high 7 magnitude earthquake. In August Neptune will join the lunar geometry raising the possibility of an earthquake around 8.5 magnitude in the second half of August.

The M5.1 Mexico earthquake is probably a precursor and a response is expected not only towards the Mexican territory, but also towards the Caribbean and Central America. On the other hand, the energy movement of the M7.2 earthquake will be directed towards the south of the continent, expecting a seismic response in Canada, west coast of the USA but also towards the Kamchatka Peninsula.

In addition to the Guerrero earthquake, a series of light to moderate earthquakes have shaken the northern Baja California peninsula, Mexico.

Wow, at that same hour, I felt it as a medium-intensity earthquake, but I felt it here in Santiago-Chile, which is quite far from the area of the epicenter in Argentina, which, on the other hand, I understand, is a geographical sector in which there's no used to have recurring seismic movements, however since 2015 activity there has increased a lot.

The base seismicity in the province of Neuquén, registered in international catalogues, historical events and few publications, shows few isolated and low-magnitude events. Since 2015, there has been a notorious increase with magnitudes reaching Mw 5.0 and intensities IV to V (medium to moderate) as reported in the catalogs of INPRES (National Institute for Seismic Prevention) and PDE-USGS (Geological Service of the USA). This seismicity is focused in the central part of the Neuquén basin, between the towns of Cutral-Có and Añelo. In this work, the seismicity was located and analyzed from November 2015 to July 2020, and compared with that located by INPRES. In addition, interviews were conducted with local residents to estimate the intensities. Five events stand out: Mw 5.0 on March 7, 2019, Mw 4.4 on September 26, 2017, Mw 4.2 on November 19, 2015, which, in addition to standing out in magnitude, present reported focal mechanisms; and, finally, the ML 4.3 earthquake on October 27 of the current year 2020.
