USGS and other agencies (EMSC, GFZ IRIS) recorded it as M4.8 and I included it along with other M4+ earthquakes:
Other light earthquakes occurred in Sarangani, Philippines (M4.7) Labuha, Indonesia (M4.7) Surup, Philippines (M4.5) Pathein, Myanmar (M4.6) La Tirana, Chile (M4.6) Tambolaka, Indonesia (M4.5) Kuril Islands (M4.8) Banda Sea (M4.5)

IMO this magnitude is not significant given that hundreds of this magnitude occur frequently in the region.

Yes, apparently you are right. However, there are still some discrepancies. Depth. The difference is quite large, but there may simply be a designation of different parameters.

Да, видимо вы правы. Однако некоторые расхождения все же есть. Глубина. Разница довольно большая, но здесь может иметь место просто обозначения разных параметров.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 08_2024

Moderate levels of seismic activity occurred in the past 24 hours. A strong M6.1 earthquake recorded by PHIVOLCS and later updated to M6.0 occurred off the coast of Davao, Mindanao, Philippines, at 09:11 UTC. The earthquake was recorded at a depth of 125 km. 6 491 000 people are estimated to have felt light shaking and 323 000 weak. The USGS issued a Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses.

This region of the Philippines has had mild to very strong seismic activity. In December an M7.6 earthquake hit the Davao region and two days ago two M5.1 earthquakes occurred.

Possibly the region of greatest interest is Kinablangan Philippines because further north in the Davao region of the Philippine Sea an M7.6 earthquake was recorded last December 2, 2023

It is possible that the energy of this earthquake M6.0 will move towards the region of Taiwan and southern Japan. We will see what happens in the next hours.

The total number of earthquakes recorded worldwide in the last 24 hours has decreased to 955 which is above normal range of activity. Seismic activity at volcanoes in Iceland has decreased, but on the other hand Campi Flegrei volcano in central Italy and Clear Lake volcano in California have increased their activity.

According to Volcano earthquake report, volcano earthquake swarm occurred in:

The SSGEOS records fluctuations of electric charge in the atmosphere near sea level. In relationship to Earth's axis-rotation these fluctuations point to regions where approximately stronger seismic activity can occur, usually within 1 to 9 days. These regions are marked with purple on the maps below. We emphasize that the indicated regions are approximations and that there is currently no reliable method to determine exact locations.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 12_2024

Moderate levels of seismic activity occurred in the past 24 hours. Two M4+ earthquakes shook the northwest of Malfa Italy. The first with magnitude 4.8 occurred at 04:37 UTC at a depth of 221 km while the second, which occurred five hours later, had a magnitude 4.3 at a depth of 303 km.

In the Mediterranean region and towards the Strait of Gibraltar it is common to record earthquakes from shallow (<70km depth) to intermediate depth (>70km <450km), while towards Sicily they range from shallow to very deep (>450km depth) reaching 500 km. If these earthquakes were precursors we could expect an earthquake up to M5.4 following the depth to magnitude rule. So far, activity in south-central Italy has remained at light levels.

Vesuvio Volcano earthquake, Italy

German Vulkane.net had an article about the light earthquake at the Vesuvio volcano, and goes like this:

Vesuvius: noticeable earthquake Mb 3.0
March 12, 2024 by Marc Szeglat

Moderate earthquake Mb 3.0 under Mount Vesuvius was felt in Naples

Date 03/11/2024 | Time: 18:08:15 UTC | Location: 40,846 ; 14,399 | Depth: 2.9 km | Mb 3.0

Yesterday evening, a moderate earthquake of magnitude 3.0 was detected under the southern Italian volcano Vesuvius. It manifested at 18:08:15 UTC under the northwest flank of the volcano. The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 2.9 km. It was the strongest earthquake at Vesuvius for several years. Another special feature is that it occurred away from the central crater area and at a greater depth than most of the other tremors that usually occur on the Neapolitan mountain of fire. It was the 172nd earth tremor at Vesuvius this year.

It is striking that there have already been several earth tremors with magnitudes above 1 this year, which also occurred at depths of more than one kilometer. The majority of the earthquakes still have magnitudes in the microseismicity range and are detected at a depth of a few hundred meters. They are interpreted as subsidence earthquakes in the vent. The deeper earthquakes could have a different cause. As long as the volcano doesn't start to blow up, these are probably tectonic in nature. In general, however, earthquakes could also be triggered by fluid movements or because the load of the volcano creates tension in the earth's crust.

At Vesuvius, there is no need to worry that the volcano is about to erupt. So far there are no signs of this. However, if further similar earthquakes occur in the coming weeks, this could be an indication that something is changing at the volcano.

The earth tremor was clearly felt by local residents and caused concern. The EMSC received reports of perceptions from a radius of 25 kilometers, with a particularly large number of quake witnesses reporting from the area adjacent to the Campi Flegrei. Presumably the initial thought there was of another earthquake from the Caldera volcano near Pozzuoli.

Earthquake activity continues in the Campi Flegrei, and 17 tremors have been recorded since yesterday. But more on this later in another report.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 14_2024

Moderate levels of seismic activity occurred in the past 24 hours. A shallow earthquake registered by the USGS as M6.0 hit the northern Mid-Atlantic Ridge. The quake was preceded by an M5.1 and so far the strongest aftershock has been a M5.2 The USGS issued a Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses.

A magnitude 5.6 earthquake hit Fukushima Prefecture No tsunami advisory was issued for the quake. There were no immediate reports of damage.

The earthquakes coincided with the planetary alignment: Sun-Jupiter-Uranus
2024-03-10-overview.png

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake struck the border region between Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The earthquake was widely felt in both countries, with some reports coming from further afield in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Serbia, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, and Albania. USGS issued a Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses. For this earthquake, 39 aftershocks have been detected so far. The strongest was a magnitude 3.4 quake that hit 8 minutes after the mainshock according to Volcanodiscovery data.

It is possible that this earthquake is related to the seismic activity in southwestern Italy. Given that two deep earthquakes were recorded, an M5+ earthquake was expected in the region.
Two M4+ earthquakes shook the northwest of Malfa Italy. The first with magnitude 4.8 occurred at 04:37 UTC at a depth of 221 km while the second, which occurred five hours later, had a magnitude 4.3 at a depth of 303 km.

... If these earthquakes were precursors we could expect an earthquake up to M5.4 following the depth to magnitude rule. So far, activity in south-central Italy has remained at light levels.

WORLDWIDE EARTHQUAKE REPORT MARCH 15_2024

Moderate levels of seismic activity occurred in the past 24 hours. Two earthquakes struck the Tatsugō, Japan region with magnitudes 5.6 and 5.2 (Aftershock) in the Philippine Sea. According to USGS the quakes might have been felt by over 120,000 people across Japan but issued a Green alert for shaking-related fatalities and economic losses. So far, only one aftershock has been recorded

According to Volcanodiscovery information
"Based on its magnitude (5.6), the fault that was active during the quake likely ruptured beneath a surface of approx. 40 km2 (=15 sqare miles) as a first-order estimate. The length of the rupture zone thus was probably around 11 km (7 mi)."

The strongest-ever recorded quake in this area measured magnitude 8.0. It had occurred 108 years ago earlier.

Given the M6.0 earthquake in Papua New Guinea last March 13, it was to be expected that the energy would move towards Indonesia, the Philippines and Japan. According to Jesús Ramos' analysis, an M6+ earthquake could be expected towards the Kamchatka Peninsula and the Akaska region and in the worst case an M8. SSGEOS also points out the Alaskan region as a possible impact zone for a significant earthquake, as well as the Tonga region.
chrome_screenshot_15 mar. 2024 18_27_57 GMT-06_00.png

On the other hand, according to the Ramos Analysis, the energy of the M6.0 earthquake in Mid Atlantic Ridge on March 14 could migrate towards the Caribbean, Central America and southeastern Mexico causing an M5+ earthquake and in the worst case M6 but for the region of Peru and Ecuador the forecast would be up to M7 in a worst case. Let's wait and see. In fact, an M5.0 earthquake has already hit El Salvador and M4 5 in Morocco.

The next planetary geometry will be on March 17 involving Earth-Sun-Neptune.
