Éiriú-Eolas - Breathing Program

Well the only thing I can say is that I zoned out MUCH more last summer and fall that I've been the last 3 or 4 months. But whenever I do zone out now it's much shorter periods and I haven't noticed a particular correlation to being stressed yet. But I'll pay more attention and see if that's when I'm zoning.

I zoned out much more last summer, as well. When I do the program during the day, I find out I zone out more often than when I do it in the evening, before bed. And it's usually when I'm feeling worn out by the day's activities.

I must say that I zone out quite regularly. In fact, it would be better to say that it is very rare that i do not zone out.

I really love the POTS and I made a cd of around 45 minutes with Laura's voice saying the POTS. I listen to it every day trying to let the words penetrate all my hearth, spirit and soul.

It is such a powerful and beautiful prayer.

The POTS is indeed wonderful. So far, 2010 has been by far the most stressful year I have ever experienced. Without the breathing exercises and the inspiration of the POTS, I don't know how I'd make it from one day to the next!

In my case it's quite the opposite. I do POTS in the evenings before bed and I can basically count the total number of times that I zoned out on fingers of one hand. And those times I was very relaxed and totally in. When I'm tired, I find quite difficult to calm down my mind from wandering all around.
It could be more individual thing, this zoning out, like the speed and effects of EE cleansing process itself.

I totally agree.
It refreshes my system all throughout. :scooter:

I just wanted to note that when I do pipe breath / 3 stage breathing for the last 5 or 6 months, I sometimes have this vibration that develops that's somewhat similar to a cat purring. It's not exactly the same sound but similar. And it happens more often on the exhale but less often on the inhale too.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?

Hi everybody.

I was thinking about share my experience with EE program but i guess it'll take a long time because i have just realize i haven't recapitulate about it.

Last summer i started with the EE program, and the fisrt week i did it every day, i felt a pain in my back in the middle of shoulder blades every time i was in the first step (pipe breathing), so since this moment i do it in bed or in the ground, the following days (a month may be) i did the pipe breathing every day but the warriors breath and the meditation were reduced to twice at week. Some time later to once per week..... and actually i do not for a while (i don't know the time exactly one- two month), i have been spacing in time the warriors breath and the meditation parts and since a few days ago i'm starting to "fell the need" so i'll do it. (Sorry i don't use to be too much aware about the time)

Along this time i have been thinking that i ought impose myself to do the warriors breath and the meditation more frecuently, but it implies to do things in a mechanical way and i like to do things in a natural way, on the other hand i use to be too much exigent with myself and i was all the time between impose me it and to experiment and wait that my ownself ask me. Finally i had success with the experiment a few days ago and i'm waiting to this weekend because i love to do it in the country.

So in this situation i wanted to ask you if it's "normal" to do the the warriors breath and the meditation every month aprox. or if it's recomended to do it more often.

Speaking about the impact of the EE program in my life I have to say that the pipe breathing is very good to me and i fell the effects in my body and mind, and the stress is almost non-existent (at least in terms of perceived tension) except in some unforeseen ocasions.

About the warriors breath and the meditation i have to say that are incredible. I'm very overactive with metabolism and nervous system and it's difficult to relax myself completly or in a large degree, i have to concentrate a lot, and when i get it i'm very easy to shock, a lot o f times when i perceive something unexpected it fades out because of the shock.

Some things perceived between sleep and wakefulness can be observed without a shock, and the less shock me. And the following ones are the dreams that usaually don't wake me up.

I have expanded my perception and my conscience too, sometimes i have felt like if iwas going to go out of my body between sleep and wakefulness but you can image that the subsequent shock aborted it, but i remember that i did it when i was a child (but i don't remember if it happened when i was going to sleep or when i was sleeping). I have been experiencing this kind of things for all my life and the EE program experiences have enhanced them.

I suffer from allergies and this year has been the first one that i don't take pills and i have to say that there have been some days that i have gone wrong with it but in any case even less than other years taking pills (i have been speaking with my body's cells too telling them that natural things are not strange).

I fell a great affinity for nature too, like the nature were calling me.

I hope i didn't forget anything.

Greetings !!

;D Like a cat?, only if i'm cold before the throat clearing.

But usually it sounds like the wind with vibration in some occasions

I think there is a difference between forcing yourself to do things too often and self-discipline. But I am curious why you think disciplining yourself to do the warrior breath and the meditation is "mechanical"?

I do the pipe breathing and warrior breath every morning. I do the meditation every night. That is also what I suggest to my students when I am teaching Éiriú Eolas. It is the Beatha that we recommend to do less frequently. The different parts of the Éiriú Eolas programme fit together in a specific way because each part works on a different aspect of your emotional and physiological detoxification. The meditation should definitely be done every day.

Well, self-discipline implies an objetive or reason to be done. Until this week as i have told i was experimenting with myself and this was the reason or objetive in my mind while i was parallely thinking about do it with a continuous frequency.

Ok thank you, when i speak about meditation i refer to the Beatha (sorry for my poor explanation), because I do the Beatha followed by meditation. Meditation perse is done almost everyday.

Sorry for duoble posting.

In any case I have to admit that self-discipline isn't my strong point, because usually i do things by gusts.

Yes, I've had that as well, but didn't think anything of it. It especially happens when I'm totally immersed in the breathing, like letting it flow and enjoying it, being it, or so I would describe it. I'll have a closer look when it happens the next time, though.

Like you all have desribed, I've also been experiencing extreme zoning out these last few sessions, and also had the thought that it could be related to lack of sleep generally. It's especially the POTS I haven't been experiencing consciously lately. But I have the feeling in myself that this is totally okay, it still works on me. Some part of my being definitely experiences the POTS consciously I think. :)

Doing EE program diet , reading , sports, yoga , and now Dream work .

Dream work from 1 weeks Now I have more dreams and what is important all come better .
This night I was "dream working" about Relation ship with women - and I have 3 dreams IN this dream I get strength 2 words and Woke UP .
Then MY notebook JUST in 2 second when I woke up ( and get this 2 strength worlds ) POWER ON and start playing mp3 music .
IT was all in this same time- I fell that this is a message for me .

EE and Dream working - when you do it you get more consciousness about your Life

I made 30 min's POTS and use it. Yes it is powerful. If I do it while lying flat on the bed, I go to sleep. I am not sure of the impact, but If I sit on the chair and do it, I will be more conscious and I can feel the healing effect. I was some what deflecting of doing 30 min. POTS 2 times a day which I felt to be good. Just too many things to do and making choice is very excruciatingly painful for me . My original problem of concentration still persists. If I do it 10 mins of Baha I feel very refreshing, If I am able to concentrate. After that pretty much I feel switched off with some faint consciousness of some thing wrong or suspended hypnotized state. I don't know whether this state can be called zoned out or not. generally zoning out is you will not be conscious at all. so I try to avoid it. I started doing POTS while doing some other activities, I feel good particularly busy with other things.

I do hear a faint hhhh, but with other noises too (maybe because of the allergies that I have) .

This is very possible. I find that if i have phlegm in my throat while breathing there are more noises than just the hhhhhhh ;)

Yes I do feel that I am doing the exhalation correctly. I did what you have told me to do and I do hear a very faint hhhh sound, yes what you have said is clear :D. I can upload some sound clips onto youtube and post it here, so you can here how I sound, if I can do that?

You can upload the youtube videos if you want, but it doesn't appear necessary at the moment imo. From what i read it sounds that you are doing the breathing correctly. But if you want to be 100% sure, upload :)

I am also working on my diet added many vitamins and minerals, but still need to weed out some of the toxic food that I still take in. Thanks for sharing the joke. :) :flowers:

You are welcomed :) Keep in mind that by weeding that toxic food out of your diet, not only your body will feel better (you could say bye bye to your allergies) but also your mind will feel less foggy, and it will improve your mood.

I have myopia so it has always been quite difficult for me to see from afar, did anyone had good results with palming for myopia as said in the sott article here coupled with the EE ?

I have myopia too. This week on the radio there was a guy promoting eye health and he mentioned the exercise of palming and imagining darkness. He said also that we should look as far into the distance or horizon as we can for 8 minutes twice daily. And to take 30 second breaks looking at far distances every 15 minutes of computer or reading time. This is because looking near for so long strains our eyes and we were made for looking far away, like farming and seeing incoming predators. FWIW.
