  • Elon Musk, a billionaire entrepreneur and critic of government overreach, has expressed concerns for his life, suggesting that his efforts to expose corruption in Washington, D.C. could lead to his assassination.

  • During an interview on "The Joe Rogan Experience," Musk hinted at the dark side of political power, implying that the so-called Deep State will go to great lengths to protect its secrets, reigniting debates about corruption in the nation's capital.

  • Musk criticized NGOs, suggesting that they are used for financial manipulation and money laundering under the guise of charitable work.
  • Musk attributed the relentless attacks from left-leaning media and political figures to his stance against entitlements fraud, particularly benefits for illegal immigrants, which he believes incentivizes illegal immigration and drains resources
  • Musk's warnings highlight the growing hostility towards dissent, with incidents like the Butler rally raising concerns about the safety of those who challenge the establishment. His revelations serve as a call to action for transparency, accountability and justice, urging Americans to take a stand against corruption.
Elon Musk, the billionaire entrepreneur and outspoken critic of government overreach, has once again stirred the pot—this time with a chilling warning that his life may be in danger for exposing corruption in Washington, D.C. During a recent appearance on "The Joe Rogan Experience," Musk hinted at the dark underbelly of political power, suggesting that his efforts to uncover the truth could lead to his assassination.

The interview, which has since gone viral, has reignited debates about the extent of corruption in the nation’s capital and the lengths to which the so-called Deep State will go to protect its secrets. Musk’s revelations are not just a wake-up call—they are a damning indictment of a system that thrives on opacity and unchecked power

Musk: "This is really gonna get me assassinated"

Musk’s most shocking statement came during a discussion about how politicians and elites amass wealth beyond the reach of ordinary citizens. When Rogan pressed him on the methods used by those in power, Musk hesitated before delivering a grim warning: "I mean, this is really gonna get me assassinated. It’s like, I’m not lengthening my lifespan by explaining this stuff, to say the least. I mean, I was supposed to go back to D.C. How am I going to survive? This is f%$king going to kill me for sure."

Musk’s fear is not unfounded. History is littered with examples of whistleblowers and truth-tellers who faced dire consequences for exposing corruption. From the mysterious deaths of journalists investigating political scandals to the silencing of dissenting voices, the pattern is clear: those who threaten the status quo often pay a heavy price.

Musk’s comments suggest that the corruption in D.C. goes far beyond the well-documented insider trading scandals. He hinted at a web of financial manipulation, illicit wealth accumulation and systemic exploitation that benefits the elite at the expense of the American people

A multiple parts exposé of Elon Musk by Larry Romanoff.

But Elon Musk is not an engineer, not a scientist, and there is absolutely NO evidence that Musk has ever actually achieved anything in technology, not even the fictional kind.

A multiple parts exposé of Elon Musk by Larry Romanoff.
He makes some valid points (which have been raised here before), in particular that Musk is not a traditional CEO for any of his companies, that he spends way too much time posting on X and that among his "claimed achievements" is that he is a very good gamer (which also takes up time).

However, the article is also stuck too much in black-and-white thinking:

- The claims in the beginning that Einstein was a complete fraud and that E = mc2 is completely false are simply not true. Nuclear weapons are based on that formula.

- Musk did not necessarily need any degree to become a good engineer. He does seem to have retroactively bought his degrees with a generous donation, but at least in the case of SpaceX he does seem to be deeply familiar with the engineering details and challenges.

- The fact that he gets a lot of publicity also helped Tesla save a lot of money since they didn't have to buy any advertising. So you could say that he is very good at marketing, instead of the derogatory "he is an influencer".

- Musk did start SpaceX himself and both he and the company were close to bankruptcy early on when the 3 initial test flights all failed. Finding a way to successfully land rockets later on was also far from guaranteed (people ridiculed him for even trying it), yet it was his company that did it first.

This one’s gonna get me banned for sure 🫡

Not me talking but Ian Carroll about is response to Elon Musk is apparent blindness concerning Israel.

Musk sure lost a few feathers here and may judge that he as more to lose if he answer.

I m unaware if Musk responded to Carroll post but sure will love to read it if he did.

Just to keep the thread up to date, Musk has since left government, and did so right after Trump's "Beautiful Big Bill" was passed (in the House). His departure seemed amicable enough, certainly with respect to Trump, and the official White House line was that Musk left simply because his 'short-term special employee status' came to an end.

Today, a week later, Musk has spoken out:

His disgust with the spending bill is understandable, given that he labored under the assumption that his "1$ trillion cuts" via DOGE would naturally translate into reducing the US govt deficit. Instead, the bill, which has yet to pass the Senate, and which probably will - more or less in its current form - increases the federal deficit, by as much as $4 trillion over the next 5-8 years.

It's interesting that the anti-Tesla vandalism and "Nazi" slanders came to an abrupt stop a few weeks ago. If I recall correctly, those began in earnest right as Musk was teasing DOGE investigations into Congress critters' spectacular 'side earnings'. Well, the critters appear to have called off their attack dogs*, now that they've got what they wanted: dirty business as usual and Musk gone from govt.

[* Another similarity with Ancient Rome, by the way, where 'street gangs' controlled by senators and tribunes would whip up a storm against targeted interests of their political/corporate competitors.]

Grok powered by the xAI Data Center (Colossus) in Memphis, Tennessee at the expense of Residents.

The residents around South Memphis are faced with having to breathe in polluted air quality that resembles that from a gas stove. It has obviously affected their health, quality of sleep and in general their whole living standards. The residents claim an increase in respiratory illnesses. Local utility company Memphis Light, Gas and Water (MLGW) has faced criticism for its handling of the situation, with the NAACP accusing it of a "lackadaisical approach". In April 2025 the residents got together at a local school to vent their frustrations about the xAI Data Center and what it had brought to their community. At the event/ meeting the xAI representative never took nor responded to the residents questions; simply read out a company statement and then left the premises.

xAI has installed up to 35 gas turbines to power Colossus- without proper permits, emitting hazardous air pollutants such as formaldehyde and nitrogen oxides, which exceed Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) limits. Additionally they falsely claim that only a few turbines are operational. Radar data proved otherwise. We find some of the DOGE (eGOD) cuts targeted/ defunded regulation bodies that could place pollution barriers (standards) for companies to uphold. This would explain how Tesla quickly got approval; just this year to build an even larger Data Center. xAI has plans to expand its operations in Memphis with a new 1 million-square-foot facility.

It is also careful to note that in Memphis is to be found a natural gas plant, wastewater treatment and a garbage dump. Does xAI feel less guilty polluting the area because other industries have already done so in the area? Is it just a wasteland to them?

Oh dear, this is embarrassing. And distracting. I wonder if they are trying to take the media attention away from somewhere else?

"He Just Went Crazy!": Trump Rages, Threatens To Terminate Musk Contracts As BBB Spat Goes Nuclear"

And this:

"Musk Claims Trump 'Is In The Epstein Files' After Daring Prez To Cancel SpaceX Contracts"

Update (1520ET): As the spat between Elon Musk and President Trump seemed to have reached cruising altitude, Musk just hit the afterburners - claiming on X that President Trump is "in the Epstein files," adding "That is the real reason they have not been made public...

Update (1255ET): The tech-bro industrial complex has to be shitting themselves as the Trump-Musk spat just hit a new gear; Elon Musk is calling for a new political party, while Trump just threatened to pull Musk's contracts.

"Without me, Trump would have lost the election"

"Trump then 'truthed' that "The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!"

"Musk, meanwhile responded with "Whatever" to Trump..."

"Trump on Elon Musk: "You saw a man who was very happy when he stood behind the Oval desk. Even with a black eye. I said, do you want a little makeup? He said, 'No, I don't think so,' which is interesting ... Elon and I had a great relationship. I don't know if we will anymore."

Much of the X battle is in the article below and as it say at the bottom, it's "developing" the day aint over yet.

I haven‘t yet looked closely into the new situation between Trump and Musk, but from what I have seen my first hunch is that Musk might be the more unreasonable party in the situation.
I agree. Musk had already reacted irrationally last December on the issue of H-B1 visas (from which his companies benefit greatly). Trump had remained largely silent at the time, as their “bromance” was still fresh. If Trump mentioned cutting subsidies for electric vehicles, subsidies that still contribute significantly to Tesla's financial success, I can easily imagine Musk completely losing it, leading to these recent tweets.

It does not seem to be about that. Musk wanted to cut government expenses while Trump just massively expanded the expenses, basically breaking one of his election promises.

At the same time, bringing Epstein into this and making it personal seems stupid on Musk's part.

I don't think Musk cares much about government spending. He sold his DOGE (which ended in almost total failure) as an attractive proposition echoing Javier Milei's afuerism, “what I did with Twitter by firing 80% of the employees, I can also do with civil servants,” but he didn't really have any personal stake in government spending. A cut in subsidies for electric vehicles, on the other hand, affects him directly, and that's why I think it was the breaking point between the two.
