I would also like to introduce myself, and explain what is going with the article I mentiond
I signed onto SOTT several moths ago under the user name Larry Ogg, and my name is mentioned in an article that is now on SOTT best of the web page titled “Political Ponerology: A Science of Evil Applied for Political Purposes” that was posted on the Democratic Underground (DU) web site, of which I go by the same user name there also.
Time for change (Tfc) is a very gifted author that frequently writes about world events and atrocities that plague the world and the U.S. as a result of U.S. policy and politics; which I now know better as Pathocracy. (Tfc) also critiques many popular books that address these issues in an attempt to inform people and keep them updated, and he is a very popular and well respected author on (DU), he also has my greatest admiration, and I frequently post comments to his articles.
It was about eight months ago, someone reading one of my comments on (DU), could apparently see that I would be able to understand and handle Ponerology and Introduced me to some of the links that were available so I could learn more about the subject. Needless to say I was instantaneously hooked and bought the book. When I began reading it, things began to become so much more clearer, although it was very difficult and I had to start the from beginning about three times, I also increased my vocabulary by about a 150 words; and I tell people it’s like learning a new language, i.e. the language of psychopath and how it is used against people of conscience; but I did manage to finish reading it about three months ago, and it was just prior to that that I began to comment on it and recommended to (Tfc), and I would like hope that maybe I influenced other others to buy and read it also.
I know it was also a difficult subject for (Tfc) as we had frequent discussions about that also, but he to, did finally finish it, and the result was the article that you now see on the SOTT best of the web page.
Tfc had planed to do a series of articles on ponerology if it had received a good response on DU, and I was deeply horned when he confided with me as to how to present it. He thanks me in the opening of the article so I would like to think that I had some effect on the its content.
Here’s the summary of my advice to him.

I think most people will find this subject interesting, and maybe even a little apprehensive for some; might this explain your concern as how to present it, if so I share the same concern, you want to say the right things so people will become interested and want to learn more, but on the other hand you don’t want to sound like your talking in Greek, offend their belief system, scare them off or overload them to the point ware their heads explode. But I think their curiosity will make it interesting for them, and they will begin to examine their own mind though introspection, but like I said if they start to get overloaded and confused, apprehension might become a factor, but then I have tendency to be overly cautious; I know some people will be able to absorb more than others.
Some thing to consider as people examine this material.

The next day was April 1st and the article appeared on DU, and the response has been overwhelming and I hope the SOTT staff will take the time to read the replies which are close to 100, in addition the article has been viewed by over by 1430 readers at this time.
But the reason I am now writing to SOTT is because of reply #93 which one might say, is a vicious psychopathic attack, which I am posting here.

I took the liberty of doing a little research last night and found the discussions on the SOTT web site ware Laura defends herself and explains the allegation raffle, though the articles and replies are quite lengthy I didn’t have the time to read much of it, but I’m sure I will at a later time. For now I know that there is two sides too ever story and I don’t need to comment on that or make any judgments prior to having a clue.
As to the other things that the Fulcanelli points out, I will say a few things. First of all, I have been accused of being in occults myself, my experience would be akin to what people refer to as new wave religion as well as metaphysical, but I don’t want go into my experiences now, although I will say that, I have had experiences that most people would find unbelievable and imposable. With that in mind I have learned over the years, that one persons religion is anther mans occult, and most people have the tendency to condemn that which they don’t understand, thus is the bases of which I told Tfc in the summery I gave him (shown above). There is a quote in the Bible ware Jesus sais to his disciples who asking question of him, that if he were to answer, their heads would explode (Metaphorically speaking of course). And his reply to them was as follows, “I have fed you with milk and you could not bare it, how is it that you would now have me feed you with meat.” Again this is part of the premise for my suggestions too Tfc, as to how to present Ponerology.
Personally I don’t care what other people believe, as long as their beliefs are not causing other people to jump of a cliff, or causing them to throw innocent people who disagree with then over a cliff. So what who cares, besides, it’s like what Albert Einstein said, “You can’t discover what you can’t imagine”, and I have no doubt that there are a lot of truths that some people could never imagine, it doesn’t mean such things are not true, but it does mean that if someone with a closed mind hears it, they will reject it or they will be afraid or their heads will explode.
So it’s plain to see what the intent of this psychopathic attack is, not only is this person out to destroy the messenger (Laura), he is out to destroy the message (Ponerology).
I have been coming here to SOTT for a few months now and have read a number of phenomenal articles written by Laura, and I think her knowledge of history, combined with the understanding of Ponerology is the most amazing and objective perspective I have ever seen. In addition I have read many other articles here on SOTT posted by other authors that are equally phenomenal. Although I am mostly interested in politics, world history and Ponerology, I am not distracted by or interested in the smorgasbord of articles and discussion forums on SOTT that deal with and handle the diversity of other human experiences. As to some of it; I’ve been there, did that, got the shirt, been ridiculed, grown, crashed and burned, got on with life and something different, and right now I’m trying to be a part of something that will save the world from a bunch of psychopaths. Because what’s going on in the world right now is something everyone is going to have to deal with sooner or later, but that will be very difficult if the psychopaths can do what this idiot has done on Democratic Underground.
So that the situation and the main purpose for this correspondence, and I was hoping that it might be possible that someone at SOTT could help with a little damage control.

This little group of men (there appear to be two main ones) spend an inordinate amount of time searching the web for references to Laura to spread these lies - they must earn a good living doing so. I know that these men are behind this because NO one else attacks this work - time and time again all attacks are traced by to these two, even when they use one of their many alias screen names and email addresses.
It has gotten to the point that when they don't come rushing in with the defamatory lies, that we think we've missed the mark or what we're saying isn't 'true enough'.
As long as we're on target, in they come. It would be comical if so many people, not knowing any better, weren't distracted or taken in by it - as it always is with psychopathic lies.

The problem with dealing with agents like Vincent Bridges, StormBear Williams and Jay Weidner is that they don't have anything else to do, like have a real life (which naturally makes one assume they are paid). They literally can spend entire days, weeks, months, and years (and have done) attacking, creating alternate personalities to make it look like they have "followers," and so on. Also, the hyperactivity of the pathological deviant is legendary. They beat that lottery dead horse endlessly, make stuff up, and it is obvious that the main target is the knowledge of psychopathy. Our experience has been that they will go on and on and on, co-opting any board they appear on until it becomes a free-for-all food fight, and the only way to deal with them is to delete them and ban them. That was exactly my sensation when I read through pages of muck on a God like productions forum thread. It was a strange experience. It was unpleasant, and exhausting because closure just never happens. If these were normal people trying to cope with a real situation, they would be primarily concerned with how to best cope with the damage and move on.
Make no mistake about it. These people and their rhetoric are toxic. At a certain point, I delved into everything they had written to find out what they were about for myself. I got lost in a fog that took weeks to clear.

Larry, for what it's worth, I was very excited and inspired by the Political Ponerology article on DU. It's proof that the word is getting out and it's a good example of someone working various sources together in the effort to help the average person begin to "get it." Thank you for your work. I was moved to share the link to that article and a couple of others--which I chose for their diversity (by source and author) and quality and the comprehensive introduction to the subject that they provide; that I hoped would be helpful to open minded, intelligent persons that really wanted to know better what's really going on. I really think that Political Ponerology is one of the greatest revelations of true knowledge in our time.

|| BEGIN Review "Handbook of the Navigator" ||
My Comments in BLUE
Eric Pepin's book "Handbook of the Navigator" to me is a projection of a narcissist's mind into the mind of the reader.
"Handbook of the Navigator" provided me a view into the mind of the inner workings of narcissism acting out on a grand scale. I find "Handbook of the Navigator" to be a great example of how far we have gone down the path of the "Cult of Self" in our everyday world and of how common it has become so that most people don't even bat an eye when they encounter it, even in its extreme.
"Handbook of the Navigator" tries to manipulate my mind as the reader. By covert and not so covert means, Eric Pepin's own mind attempts to direct my thoughts and feelings to where he, Eric Pepin, wants my mind to go. The only Navigator in this book is Eric Pepin. Eric Pepin attempts to make me the reader feel special for reading the book, then through almost unintelligible logic in his story telling Eric Pepin tries to lead me down a path of guilt if I the reader do not choose to follow the self specialness that Eric Pepin tries to project into my (the reader's) mind.
Almost the first sentence of the preface shows grandiosity. "This is no ordinary BOOK. In FACT, Eric Pepin labels his own work as EXTRA-ORDINARY. Right out of the gate Eric Pepin is stroking himself, calling himself extraordinary as Eric is the author of this EXTRAORDINARY mechanism. This is Eric Pepin telling me the reader what he thinks of himself, his special abilities, how great he is, from his own mouth. I have no doubt that Eric Pepin carefully and specifically designed this book to attempt to psychologically effect the reader. This book will create inside my being a "vibration" of "specific thought" that Eric Pepin has created his own word for. This specially created effect he will produce inside my being he will give the name, "multi-dimensional consciousness". Eric Pepin is able to do this EXTRAORDINARY feat by giving birth to "thought patterns". These "thought patterns" Eric Pepin calls "realizations". WOO WOO!
Now if a car salesperson assesses you, approaches you and initiates a conversation specifically designed to put you at ease, perhaps even to flatter you, makes you feel good, then is able to softly direct you toward his goal of getting you to purchase a vehicle, what is that called? Weren't the salesperson's tactics specially designed to create a special effect on you the customer? Weren't the salesperson's words crafted to elicit a certain "vibration" of "thought patterns" within your mind? Should the salesperson or their method be called EXTRAORDINARY? Should the salesperson create a new word to describe this technique?
But Eric Pepin is different right?
I find over and over again Eric Pepin projecting and manipulating (my) the reader's mind. Eric uses embedded suggestion over and over like the above to subtly attempt to train the reader's mind into thinking that the reader is not worthy unless they choose Eric's way. Don't you want to be like Jesus or Buddha? They chose and so must you! You are free to reject what I say here, but you will suffer in hell fire if you do reject it! You won't be special like Mr. Eric Pepin. This happens over and over. In effect you and I must submit to Eric Pepin's thought processes otherwise we are less of a person. If you do NOT SUBMIT, you are ASSURED to NEVER FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE. "ASSURED TO NEVER" "TO NEVER FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE" - Eric Pepin says so. You will never make it unless you SUBMIT to Eric. In other words if you don't follow Eric, the only one that loses out is you. It is assured. On the playground the kids demonstrate this by making an L-sign on their forehead with their index finger and thumb - Loser. I found Eric calling me as the reader a loser if I did not submit to his projection of mind.
Later in the book Eric Pepin even tells me that if I SUBMIT I will be one of a very few that are special.
As I proceed with my observations I will quote a few of the hundreds of examples where Eric Pepin's mind tries to manipulate the mind that is reading the book and I think I can provide a method for others to see it themselves in an easy way.
Eric Pepin's supposed scientific explanations are pure nonsense to me and I think to anyone that knows a little bit about the subjects he actually tries to describe. I got the feeling that Eric Pepin was treating me the reader like I was a seven year old listening to some New Age Mr. Rogers trying to come down to my lowly level. The problem is that Eric Pepin's explanations and stories are generally fantasy that he appears to have began developing in the recesses of his own mind at the age of seven.
This book is so full of examples of nonsense, bogus assumptions of what scientific terms mean, Eric Pepin projecting his inner world upon me as the reader in an imposing manner, that it is flabbergasting. I find it difficult to decide what examples to use as I see the whole book as an attack on my mind (the reader's mind) and intelligence.
Eric Pepin begins his book with a story about himself as a seven year old. The story is all full of sensory adjectives describing nature, attempting to immediately disarm the mind of the reader by taking the reader into a sympathetic state with Eric himself and his words. In a work of fiction where the reader knows they are looking for entertainment or even in a work of non-fiction where for instance an author describes the sounds and smells of war, such literary devices work well. Here it is used for psychological management. Manny Otto who came to the SOTT.NET forum used the same technique but in a slightly different manner. To get what you want, set a tone from the start that flatters the target mind, compliment or put at ease or make them feel good somehow about themselves and they will tend then not to look so critically at what follows. It is a mentally disarming of the other person or persons gaining positive favor for yourself in whatever you may then attempt to get or achieve.
With such great powers at such an early age and now having listened to his own navigator for some thirty four years, how was it possible that Eric Pepin found himself in a criminal trial under such heinous charges? Where was Eric Pepin's navigator? It seems hardly possible to me.
Here I would like to quote a little bit about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).
I make a point of highlighting in RED Alice Miller's excerpt from "The Drama of the Gifted Child". I do this because it is just such a state that Eric Pepin seems to set up from the very beginning of this book, that sets the tone for everything to follow. Eric Pepin tries to overwhelm the reader's senses with that longing and connection to when you were a child. It is very easy to see how a person could fall into Pepin's play for the reader's mind. I suspect many people looking for answers to their longings and searchings for answers who are no doubt damaged themselves, as nearly everyone is, could fall for this without some strong psychological knowledge to ground them before they start to read this book. In effect Eric Pepin has set the trap. He is a psychological predator and you are the prey.
Another reason I quoted this passage from "The Drama of the Gifted Child" is to point out the possibility that Eric Pepin himself may be very damaged. If some such event took place when Eric Pepin was seven, even though he so over embellishes it all, it is possible that this is the time where Eric Pepin dissociated so completely from reality due to his own narcissistic wounding that he went over the edge and found that specialness in himself that he needed so badly and could not find in his real world.
Eric Pepin does attribute everything of his special powers and special abilities to this event. His finding of submarines, over 100 lost and missing persons, ... paranormal, psychic. It all started with this event.
I would actually recommend that each person here read this book "Handbook of the Navigator" under specific conditions.

Nearly 1 in 12 words are about self, either Eric or his target (the reader's mind).
The overwhelming use of the these 'SELF' words are packed with imperatives. Telling the reader's mind what they are thinking. Telling the reader what they need to do. Eric continually takes the perspective of the reader's mind and projects what he assumes the reader is thinking. This is a completely assumptive Theory of Mind being practiced by Eric Pepin. Eric Pepin speaks for the reader, saying what he wants the reader to say back to his own self-conversation. It happens so often that I think it is purposeful on Eric Pepin's part. I think Eric Pepin designed the book very carefully with the express purpose to psychologically undermine and control a reader that is not aware of these manipulative techniques. Most normal people would call this a technique of the confidence man.
Additionally, at times I get the impression that Eric Pepin is actually talking to different little Erics and the little Erics talk back saying just what the big Eric wants them to say. Eric Pepin has trained them to respond in exactly the way he expects them to respond. It is a little creepy at times. The reader then sees how agreeable these little Erics are, how amenable they are to the big Eric and it makes it all the more easy to fall into confluence with Eric Pepin's little Erics and find yourself joining in with them.

Now for some Examples:
In the medium of a book, the dialog is usually a one way exchange. The reader cannot really respond back.
Works of fiction may take the reader on a journey or fairy tale as it were, with the reader knowing in advance that this is what the book is - fantasy. A non-fiction book will generally present data as facts and or opinion with research sources to back up the data. Self-Help and How-To books are a little different in that they do assume the role of the reader at times, "do this", "if you want a better texture in the cement, add more sand", "to get a stronger shelf, add an extra cross support underneath", "you might think that adding vinegar to the recipe will make it more tart, but it actually makes it sweeter".... There are books that tell the reader what to do or assume the perspective of the reader.
In Eric Pepin's book "Handbook of the Navigator" though, we see an unabashed level of the author, Eric Pepin, telling the reader what to do, what they feel, what they think, trying to coerce the reader in that if they do not choose Eric's way then the reader will be a loser - ASSURED. Eric Pepin not only makes grand assumptions through his own filters and buffers of what the reader's state of mind is, Eric Pepin goes a step further and actively plays the role of the reader as if it is he himself who he is talking to. In other words Eric Pepin takes the position that the reader is in such confluence with Eric's own mind that Eric actively plays and switches between both roles, reader and author, as if they were both him. This is rather disturbing to observe psychologically in the fact that I realize Eric is really messed up, but it is even more disturbing to think of its possible effects on the psychologically susceptible mind. These are the same covert techniques that sociopaths and narcissists use, the same techniques of hustlers and swindlers and con-artists.
It appears that Eric Pepin's Theory of Mind in creating "Handbook of the Navigator" is Eric Pepin talking to another Eric Pepin. The state Eric Pepin seems to interpret of the reader is basically a disregard of the reader's perspective entirely. Eric Pepin is the Director of the reader's mind, telling the reader what to think, what to do, what is what, this is that.
As an exercise myself, in the Abobe Reader word search of the "Handbook of the Navigator" I did a 'whole word only' search on 'Navigator'. It returned 99 occurrences. I envisioned replacing every instance of "Navigator" and "the Navigator" with "Eric Pepin". It worked very well as Eric Pepin is "The Navigator" here, The Director, The Manager, The Manipulator, of your mind as the reader. The title of the book then becomes, "The Handbook of Eric Pepin", which I find very fitting. It fits quite well into the whole grandiosity theme.

There are hundreds of research papers that should scare the pants off anyone thinking they can just start consuming copious quantities of magnetite for numerous reasons.

I am hard pressed to understand where there is any conscience demonstrated by Eric Pepin in his total disregard for people and people's minds in his abuse of science by implying over and over that science backs his claims in both his selling of his mind altering multi-multiple-hyper-higher consciousness programs and the Magic Psychic Pill. The people in his organization are also complicit and without conscience in allowing it to continue, Eric Robison, Tom Roberts, Baard Williams, and others.
Baard Williams and Eric Pepin's blatant disregard for others in pushing Eric Pepin's magic pill in the face of true scientific research showing so much evidence that magnetite is found in greater proportions in brain tumors and degenerative brain diseases borders on the criminal. The evidence does not mean that magnetite causes tumors and the degenerative brain diseases, but it should engender great caution by any normal person and especially for any normal person that cares at all for others. Eric Pepin's 'science by implication' and nonsense logic could literally get someone killed.
Eric and Baard's science - Birds have magnetite in their brains. Birds have great navigation skills when they migrate. Birds migration/navigation skills must be because they are psychic and can sense the earth's magnetic field. Magnetite is magnetic. Therefore magnetite is what birds use to navigate by using the earth's magnetic field. Human's don't have as much magnetite in their brains. More IS BETTER. Put more magnetite into humans brains and they will be psychic.

Eric Pepin's book "Handbook of the Navigator" to me is a projection of a narcissist's mind into the mind of the reader.
"Handbook of the Navigator" provided me a view into the mind of the inner workings of narcissism acting out on a grand scale. I find "Handbook of the Navigator" to be a great example of how far we have gone down the path of the "Cult of Self" in our everyday world and of how common it has become so that most people don't even bat an eye when they encounter it, even in its extreme.
"Handbook of the Navigator" tries to manipulate my mind as the reader. By covert and not so covert means, Eric Pepin's own mind attempts to direct my thoughts and feelings to where he, Eric Pepin, wants my mind to go. The only Navigator in this book is Eric Pepin. Eric Pepin attempts to make me the reader feel special for reading the book, then through almost unintelligible logic in his story telling Eric Pepin tries to lead me down a path of guilt if I the reader do not choose to follow the self specialness that Eric Pepin tries to project into my (the reader's) mind.

Weren't the salesperson's words crafted to elicit a certain "vibration" of "thought patterns" within your mind? Should the salesperson or their method be called EXTRAORDINARY? Should the salesperson create a new word to describe this technique?
But Eric Pepin is different right?
I find over and over again Eric Pepin projecting and manipulating (my) the reader's mind. Eric uses embedded suggestion over and over like the above to subtly attempt to train the reader's mind into thinking that the reader is not worthy unless they choose Eric's way. Don't you want to be like Jesus or Buddha? They chose and so must you! You are free to reject what I say here, but you will suffer in hell fire if you do reject it! You won't be special like Mr. Eric Pepin. This happens over and over. In effect you and I must submit to Eric Pepin's thought processes otherwise we are less of a person. If you do NOT SUBMIT, you are ASSURED to NEVER FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE. "ASSURED TO NEVER" "TO NEVER FULFILL YOUR PURPOSE" - Eric Pepin says so. You will never make it unless you SUBMIT to Eric. In other words if you don't follow Eric, the only one that loses out is you. It is assured. On the playground the kids demonstrate this by making an L-sign on their forehead with their index finger and thumb - Loser. I found Eric calling me as the reader a loser if I did not submit to his projection of mind.
Later in the book Eric Pepin even tells me that if I SUBMIT I will be one of a very few that are special.
As I proceed with my observations I will quote a few of the hundreds of examples where Eric Pepin's mind tries to manipulate the mind that is reading the book and I think I can provide a method for others to see it themselves in an easy way.
Eric Pepin's self described use of story telling, allegory and simple language in the "Handbook of the Navigator" seems innocent on the face of it. But as I looked in depth at what he is doing, what I saw was an over abundance of self grandiosity and mental manipulation. What Eric Pepin calls simple language is confusing and often so downright misleading that I felt actually offended. Eric Pepin continually talked down to me as the reader. Eric Pepin invents words and meanings, uses multiple words to mean the same thing, then contradicts his own statements, all the while giving himself a backdoor excuse to continue his own fantasies and his right to mess with my mind as the reader. To me this is offensive arrogance.Handbook of the Navigator said:
Eric Pepin's supposed scientific explanations are pure nonsense to me and I think to anyone that knows a little bit about the subjects he actually tries to describe. I got the feeling that Eric Pepin was treating me the reader like I was a seven year old listening to some New Age Mr. Rogers trying to come down to my lowly level. The problem is that Eric Pepin's explanations and stories are generally fantasy that he appears to have began developing in the recesses of his own mind at the age of seven.
This book is so full of examples of nonsense, bogus assumptions of what scientific terms mean, Eric Pepin projecting his inner world upon me as the reader in an imposing manner, that it is flabbergasting. I find it difficult to decide what examples to use as I see the whole book as an attack on my mind (the reader's mind) and intelligence.
Eric Pepin begins his book with a story about himself as a seven year old. The story is all full of sensory adjectives describing nature, attempting to immediately disarm the mind of the reader by taking the reader into a sympathetic state with Eric himself and his words. In a work of fiction where the reader knows they are looking for entertainment or even in a work of non-fiction where for instance an author describes the sounds and smells of war, such literary devices work well. Here it is used for psychological management. Manny Otto who came to the SOTT.NET forum used the same technique but in a slightly different manner. To get what you want, set a tone from the start that flatters the target mind, compliment or put at ease or make them feel good somehow about themselves and they will tend then not to look so critically at what follows. It is a mentally disarming of the other person or persons gaining positive favor for yourself in whatever you may then attempt to get or achieve.
And there you have it. At seven years of age Eric Pepin had an experience that made him special. It is the secret to everything and now he is going to share it and help you to find your navigator.Eric Pepin Handbook of the Navigator Page 9 said:
With such great powers at such an early age and now having listened to his own navigator for some thirty four years, how was it possible that Eric Pepin found himself in a criminal trial under such heinous charges? Where was Eric Pepin's navigator? It seems hardly possible to me.
Here I would like to quote a little bit about Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).
I make a point of highlighting in RED Alice Miller's excerpt from "The Drama of the Gifted Child". I do this because it is just such a state that Eric Pepin seems to set up from the very beginning of this book, that sets the tone for everything to follow. Eric Pepin tries to overwhelm the reader's senses with that longing and connection to when you were a child. It is very easy to see how a person could fall into Pepin's play for the reader's mind. I suspect many people looking for answers to their longings and searchings for answers who are no doubt damaged themselves, as nearly everyone is, could fall for this without some strong psychological knowledge to ground them before they start to read this book. In effect Eric Pepin has set the trap. He is a psychological predator and you are the prey.
Another reason I quoted this passage from "The Drama of the Gifted Child" is to point out the possibility that Eric Pepin himself may be very damaged. If some such event took place when Eric Pepin was seven, even though he so over embellishes it all, it is possible that this is the time where Eric Pepin dissociated so completely from reality due to his own narcissistic wounding that he went over the edge and found that specialness in himself that he needed so badly and could not find in his real world.
Eric Pepin does attribute everything of his special powers and special abilities to this event. His finding of submarines, over 100 lost and missing persons, ... paranormal, psychic. It all started with this event.
"Handbook of the Navigator" becomes even more overtly manipulative as the reader continues to turn the pages.Handbook of the Navigator said:

Nearly 1 in 12 words are about self, either Eric or his target (the reader's mind).
The overwhelming use of the these 'SELF' words are packed with imperatives. Telling the reader's mind what they are thinking. Telling the reader what they need to do. Eric continually takes the perspective of the reader's mind and projects what he assumes the reader is thinking. This is a completely assumptive Theory of Mind being practiced by Eric Pepin. Eric Pepin speaks for the reader, saying what he wants the reader to say back to his own self-conversation. It happens so often that I think it is purposeful on Eric Pepin's part. I think Eric Pepin designed the book very carefully with the express purpose to psychologically undermine and control a reader that is not aware of these manipulative techniques. Most normal people would call this a technique of the confidence man.
Additionally, at times I get the impression that Eric Pepin is actually talking to different little Erics and the little Erics talk back saying just what the big Eric wants them to say. Eric Pepin has trained them to respond in exactly the way he expects them to respond. It is a little creepy at times. The reader then sees how agreeable these little Erics are, how amenable they are to the big Eric and it makes it all the more easy to fall into confluence with Eric Pepin's little Erics and find yourself joining in with them.

If we look at a Theory of Mind as being able to properly interpret someone elses sadness, happiness, mental state, even what another person is possibly thinking, taking their perspective. In the medium of a book, the dialog is usually a one way exchange. The reader cannot really respond back.
Works of fiction may take the reader on a journey or fairy tale as it were, with the reader knowing in advance that this is what the book is - fantasy. A non-fiction book will generally present data as facts and or opinion with research sources to back up the data. Self-Help and How-To books are a little different in that they do assume the role of the reader at times, "do this", "if you want a better texture in the cement, add more sand", "to get a stronger shelf, add an extra cross support underneath", "you might think that adding vinegar to the recipe will make it more tart, but it actually makes it sweeter".... There are books that tell the reader what to do or assume the perspective of the reader.
In Eric Pepin's book "Handbook of the Navigator" though, we see an unabashed level of the author, Eric Pepin, telling the reader what to do, what they feel, what they think, trying to coerce the reader in that if they do not choose Eric's way then the reader will be a loser - ASSURED. Eric Pepin not only makes grand assumptions through his own filters and buffers of what the reader's state of mind is, Eric Pepin goes a step further and actively plays the role of the reader as if it is he himself who he is talking to. In other words Eric Pepin takes the position that the reader is in such confluence with Eric's own mind that Eric actively plays and switches between both roles, reader and author, as if they were both him. This is rather disturbing to observe psychologically in the fact that I realize Eric is really messed up, but it is even more disturbing to think of its possible effects on the psychologically susceptible mind. These are the same covert techniques that sociopaths and narcissists use, the same techniques of hustlers and swindlers and con-artists.
It appears that Eric Pepin's Theory of Mind in creating "Handbook of the Navigator" is Eric Pepin talking to another Eric Pepin. The state Eric Pepin seems to interpret of the reader is basically a disregard of the reader's perspective entirely. Eric Pepin is the Director of the reader's mind, telling the reader what to think, what to do, what is what, this is that.
As an exercise myself, in the Abobe Reader word search of the "Handbook of the Navigator" I did a 'whole word only' search on 'Navigator'. It returned 99 occurrences. I envisioned replacing every instance of "Navigator" and "the Navigator" with "Eric Pepin". It worked very well as Eric Pepin is "The Navigator" here, The Director, The Manager, The Manipulator, of your mind as the reader. The title of the book then becomes, "The Handbook of Eric Pepin", which I find very fitting. It fits quite well into the whole grandiosity theme.

There are hundreds of research papers that should scare the pants off anyone thinking they can just start consuming copious quantities of magnetite for numerous reasons.
Then I also wonder why in cases where magnetite has actually been used as a contrasting agent in MRIs, why there are not fantastic reports of psychic ability side effects, of Eric Pepin 'Sixth Sense' abilities, or at least of transgenic mice that fly or some such thing?

From researchers such as Hare and Cleckley it is conscience. I am hard pressed to understand where there is any conscience demonstrated by Eric Pepin in his total disregard for people and people's minds in his abuse of science by implying over and over that science backs his claims in both his selling of his mind altering multi-multiple-hyper-higher consciousness programs and the Magic Psychic Pill. The people in his organization are also complicit and without conscience in allowing it to continue, Eric Robison, Tom Roberts, Baard Williams, and others.
Baard Williams and Eric Pepin's blatant disregard for others in pushing Eric Pepin's magic pill in the face of true scientific research showing so much evidence that magnetite is found in greater proportions in brain tumors and degenerative brain diseases borders on the criminal. The evidence does not mean that magnetite causes tumors and the degenerative brain diseases, but it should engender great caution by any normal person and especially for any normal person that cares at all for others. Eric Pepin's 'science by implication' and nonsense logic could literally get someone killed.
Eric and Baard's science - Birds have magnetite in their brains. Birds have great navigation skills when they migrate. Birds migration/navigation skills must be because they are psychic and can sense the earth's magnetic field. Magnetite is magnetic. Therefore magnetite is what birds use to navigate by using the earth's magnetic field. Human's don't have as much magnetite in their brains. More IS BETTER. Put more magnetite into humans brains and they will be psychic.
