FOTCM: New Online Application Form

thanx Sirius.... and like Anart said, what's funny about an undefined window? Sounds like an Occupational Health and Safety issue- I need some black and yellow stripey tape, or someone could fall! :shock:

And yeah the pdf should be no prob, it was just that I couldn't save the online application form to print it later.
 
Perhaps errors in Windows registry are the cause.
Not really important, I meant “no, not this again.” One could fall into despair due to such error messages, sometimes.

I will print the pdf version and fill it out exactly the same (cut&paste or by hand) and mail it with my donation- is this ok? If I have to fill it in by hand, don't worry, I'm not a doctor- my handwriting is easily legible!

Also, I have no idea how long it takes mail to go from Oz to the U.S. and back. Could someone please tell me roughly how long I need to wait before I should start to wonder where the reply is?

I live in the US, but the whole process took between three and four weeks, my response just arrived today and i sent in my application between the first and second week of August.
 
I've sent my hard copy on Mai 20, to Us address, but as Anart said it has to cross two oceans, so it take time, :)
 
same for me, it has been more than 3 months and i still haven't received it. as i mentioned earlier (somewhere), i also have subscribed to Dot Connector Magazine and there are a few instances where I've missed an issue or 2 because it never arrived in the mail (got the latest one though). wonder if its not just postal issues?

Ok, I have to use a money order, but i am under the understanding that you can either leave the recipient blank, or list it. Should i have the recipient as FOTCM, or leave it blank, or what?

Oh I received my package, :) I just don't know about the hard copy, as I can't see the logo above my avatar,
it is probably still on the way or just lost.

I have made a mistake by sending a $10 note instead of a money order, am I able to provide a donation through this site to make up the difference? the australian dollar has dropped a few cents since I snet that application. I will happily donate the difference if this is at all possible.

I can't speak for those persons here who can give definite answers, but I don't think that a slightly difference ± is of noticeable significance, since this small amount is rather a donation than a fee. Some non-US members have certainly already donated more than $ 10, e.g. 10 €.
 
I sent my application in September and would like to know if my hard copy arrived in the US and how long it will take to get the package.

Hi chaps,

Don't worry about it. It is actually not worth for us to exchange 10 autralian dollars at the bank, since the commission would take up most of it anyway. I was actually going to male the bill back to you, and you can send a donation any time in the future.
 
Sounds like a plan, just through this site? Or some different link? Keep the note as a souvenir.. In reality it's worthless anyway! Lol
