Gluten Free diet: What do you eat for breakfast?

Once you switch from carb metabolism to fat metabolism, your body feels nourished and you don't crave variety. You are satisfied to eat to live rather than living to eat. We eat almost the same thing every single day (most minimal of variations as described above) and NEVER get tired of it.

This is my experience as well, I eat roast pork with salt morning, noon, and night. Sometimes roast duck, or other types of meat,
But mostly just roast pork. It's fairly cheep, very tasty, and doesn't violate the stomach.
Cold roast pork from yesterday makes a very satisfying breakfast for me, and I'm amazed that it keeps being so yummy even after eating the same thing for months.
In the transition period I'd boil some eggs in the morning, but now I only eat eggs when I can't get pork. (I like eggs, I just like pork more)

In fact I was wondering do you guys eat buckwheat blinis at all?

Not any more. Since we went Paleo and cut carbs drastically, that means simple carbs of all kinds are out. The only carbs we have now are the very few in xylitol and a limited selection of veggies and soaked-then-roasted nuts.

What is amazing is how many OTHER types of cravings/addictions/dissatisfactions also fade away. That's what made me come to the conclusion that a lot of people's unhappiness could be due to the fact that they are malnourished and the body is sending out "need nutrients" signals that are being read as vague, unsatisfied longings for this or that.

The diet has certainly done wonders for my mood, and sugar cravings has gone completely...I'm still drinking coffee though :-[
I'm kind of hoping it fades "by itself" like the sugar cravings (or cravings for munching on something) did.
I am about to order supplements (C-vitamin, D-vitamin, Magnesium, Potassium, and L-glutamine) as I haven't taken any yet except some omega 3.
After adding these (if the coffee need is still present) I hope to be strong enough to want to quit coffee.
I tend to get difficult when forcing myself, so I'm gently trying to convince myself to want to stop it, as should stop it, tend to make me double the dose instead.
(I know I sound a little crazy, sorry)

Thanks, that solves my 'what if i run out of buckwheat worry'. Same goes for whole thymes, i will use only little garlic, ginger, turnip and celery to make soup then throw them out after pressing.

On most mornings I'm up very early and I usually eat a tablespoon of virgin coconut oil. I'm waiting for nano greens to arrive and I will likely drink this to get started. I still have coffee.

What's wrong with bacon and eggs? You should ditch the coffee - it stimulates the production of deadly insulin.

Our daily morning meal here is bacon and eggs or Gluten free chicken sausages , and for me xylitol in my cup of tea thats it. Keeps us going until we need to eat again. Have to say since being gluten/dairy free I never get any hunger pangs. Also talking of cravings , just dont get them. My mouth use to water on smelling the cakes being baked in the supermarkets etc. The price even fell on one of my old time faves (killers) Jam Donuts and i just look through them these days.

Sorry this is a bit off topic, but just wondering
Has anyone heard of having a dietary deficiency and the body trying to compensate with smoking? I really don't have food cravings anymore, but I have noticed the amount of cigarettes I smoke are increasing rapidly. I also feel more "addicted" and have that need to smoke which I've never experienced before. I RYO American Spirit with RAW brand paper so I didn't think it was related to additives. I was thinking it has to be due to stress and not being able to practice EE, because of our power outage last week.

Not to mention it trashes your adrenals - just nasty, nasty stuff.

I have bacon and pork sausage patties every morning - without exception. It's fantastic.

I am SOOO glad to hear this, AWTF! Your condition was very serious a year or two ago, but getting a grip on your diet seems to have done the trick. Maybe you want to share what was going on then?

And yeah, I hear ya about just not ever feeling hunger pangs like I used to and being able to just walk past the bread and cakes and all of that without a moment's hesitation. It's an amazing kind of freedom.

I don't know if it would be a dietary deficiency, but I notice that I smoke more when I'm concentrated or really learning stuff, not to mention when stress is high. It might be a stress reaction to changing planetary frequencies or just increasing awareness of stuff that comes with the brain getting unfogged. I think it does level out at some point.

That's the thing I notice most....I crave fatty meat, and I don't want anything else. I don't even like fruit anymore, and smelling baked goods makes me feel sick. Hubby isn't to this point yet, and is still getting the carb cravings, but he's only been on the diet a couple weeks. (But he's never tired of his breakfast.)

Yes that`s my notice too. I can eat two eggs and bacon every day and I'm not getting tired of it. between the breakfast and lunch time I'm no hungry anymore as months ago. My wife said first time after 14 years together I see you like once I met you. after 14 years I got my 79 Kg. :D

You guys I totally feel the same way, the other day I walked by a bakery and the smell of bread just made me feel not only sick but really uncomfortable, like I wanted to get away from that smell as fast as I could! My friends where like "Is he OK? Is he crazy?" LOL

Just yesterday I ate and apple at a friends house, I was studying and had to choose between an apple or a green raw vegetable salad, so the apple looked more friendly. It was horrible, my tummy was hurting so bad until I got home and took some magnesium. It was really shocking to see that an apple could be so painfull, it made me feel bad for vegans.

Well for breakfast what I normally have is eggs made in butter or ghee and bacon, or sometimes chicharrones with fried sweet potato. YUMMY!!! for my tummy :)

absolutely nothing except I can barely crack an eye in the morning (5am) never mind an egg. I've got a ten minute interval from arising to getting in the car. Weekends it's the works without bread of course. Coffee is a strong addiction for me. But I will get there.
