I would like to help with transcribing - how would I go about in doing so?

Hi ashu,

An invitation to join the group has just been sent to you.

Please post a little intro as soon as you have joined the group and someone will give you the officail Welcome message explaining how to proceed.

And as you know, please remember the following note which is very important for all translators/transcribers :

"Notice to all those interested in volunteering to do translations/transcriptions: We would also like to strongly suggest that you participate regularly in the forum. As you can imagine, translating SOTT/QFS/FOTCM/Cass material also requires a desire to work on the self. This project, believe it or not, is a very useful tool for us all, as we learn a lot about ourselves, networking and the material itself while doing it. But most of the networking and work on the self needs to be done in the forum. The more you participate, the more you learn and the more other members learn with you! "

Thank you Gandalf. I received an email and promptly selected 'join this group', which took me to Yahoo whereby I proceeded to select 'join the group'. All I am getting is a page on Yahoo with the heading 'About Group' and a message further down saying 'Oops, You need to be a member to perform this action'. I have tried a few times for the past hour - maybe I should give it another go later on?

Hi ashu,

I don't understand why it is not working. It should.

Do you have a yahoo account? If not, maybe you could create one and I will send you a new invitation to that account.

Keep me informed.

Gandalf, I did sign up for a Yahoo account & experienced the same issue:

However, I have amended my profile to show my new Yahoo email account. Are you able to send another invite to my Yahoo account as per my profile update?

The Empathy Trap show #18.docx is completed and checked in. I have updated the Transops database, but am unable to log in to the Yahoo Group in order to update that database.

I have tried changing my password but even with 14 character passwords with all sorts of uppercase, lowercase, and numerical combinations I still get a 'password too weak' error message.

I had this problem too. I read somewhere that if you're using Firefox some of the pluggins may be causing this issue, most likely Adblock Plus.
Instead of disabling and re-enabling pluggins at random I decided to use Internet Explorer to change my password and it worked.
Hope it helps.

Brilliant idea, Eva. I do run Adblock Plus. I'll use I.E. Thank you :)

I have done it for you.

Thanks

Thanks.

I would be happy to help transcribe (slow) or proof read (fast) if you still need people.
Unfortunately I can't translate unless it's American to English :halo:

Done,

Nope it still has not worked. I have tried Chrome, IE (I dont have Adblock) but no such luck. It appears that others are getting this error message and have logged it on Yahoo answers (I have done the same). I shall practice patience and hope for a fix :)
