Help with creating (and proofreading) transcripts of SOTT Talk Radio shows

I'm available to help in either task.

Hi kalibex,

Thanks you for your offer.

An invitation to join the group has just been sent to you.

Please post a little intro as soon as you have joined the group.

And as you know, please remember the following note which is very important for all translators/transcribers :

"Notice to all those interested in volunteering to do translations: We would also like to strongly suggest that you participate regularly in the forum. As you can imagine, translating SOTT/QFS/FOTCM/Cass material also requires a desire to work on the self. This project, believe it or not, is a very useful tool for us all, as we learn a lot about ourselves, networking and the material itself while doing it. But most of the networking and work on the self needs to be done in the forum. The more you participate, the more you learn and the more other members learn with you! "

Can I get an invite as well? Looks like there are a few left still to transcribe and I'd like to have a go.

Hi, I would like to help with proofreading and then if possible, work up to transcribing. I have experience transcribing at previous jobs, although it's been awhile.

Hi Gandalf,

I notice that shows 12, 28 and 29 have been in process for quite some time. Webglider's name is listed for 12 (Settled Science), Immersion for 28 (All and Everything p. 3) and Meager1 for 29 (All and Everything p. 4). I've finished the John Perkins interview (and will post when I get home), so wonder if I should/could start on one of these long-outstanding shows?

I would like to start proofreading/transcribing. This is one thing that i can say i would probably be pretty good at. Where can i start?

Edit: I already have the All and everything show downloaded. Perhaps i could start there?

Hi davey72,

Some of the All and everything have already been done.

So before doing it, would you like to be a member of the group? If so, an invitation will be sned to you as soon as you agree.

Thank you Gandalf. I will do my best, and am really looking forward to this.

I haven't received a message yet. Where is the invitation sent? If it is email then it may take awhile for me to receive it as My internet connection does not do well with email unfortunately.

Thanks Gandalf. I'll start No. 12. Also a great tip, to check blogs like Gilad Atzmon's for names.
