Is WW3 inevitable?

I like this image. It is so clear.

Sometimes when I imagine the few seconds before Hiroshima, before the bomb, those few seconds before everything, the explosion, the surprise, before the madness, I see a silence, like the silence of everything, like a second when everything is stale, paralyzed in the time, and then boom. Same when I imagine the tsunami in Thailand, when all is quiet, too too quiet. And then.

All wars are a game, a chess game.

Great piece of activism! Lets see how long this TV advertisement stays on the channels.

TV ad "Not again":

WASHINGTON — A new TV ad that urges Congress to oppose U.S. military strikes against Syria underscores the difficulty President Barack Obama is having in getting war-weary liberals to support him.

The 30-second ad by the liberal activist group MoveOn.org says the U.S. didn’t set out to spend eight years at war in Iraq and a decade in Afghanistan and predicts the same thing will happen if Congress approves Obama’s desired military action in Syria.

Obama says the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad should be punished for carrying out a deadly chemical weapons attack last month outside the capital of Damascus.

The ad, titled “Not Again,” concludes by telling Congress, “Don’t lead us down this road again.” Viewers are given a telephone number and urged to call Congress to voice opposition.

The full Senate could vote by the end of this week on whether to give Obama authority to use military force, though many lawmakers in both parties are opposed to doing so.

MoveOn says the ad will air this week on MSNBC, with a heavier rotation around Obama’s planned address to the nation Tuesday night.

The group is spending in the “mid five figures” to air the commercial.

MoveOn was one of Obama’s biggest campaign supporters, but Anna Galland, its executive director, said in an interview Saturday that the organization is following the will of its members. During a recent 24-hour vote, more than 70 percent of MoveOn’s members came out against military strikes, she said. Recent surveys also show public opinion running against U.S. intervention.

Galland said the group “will stand closely” with Obama on other issues, such as the implementation of his health care law. But on Syria, “we had a very clear mandate from our members to go out strongly on this,” she said. “This is a big moment.”

ADDED: Although I must say that i sense that there's something in this whole drama that smells fishy. The whole 'back and forth' stalling and threatening, the "allowance" of opposing opinions in major news papers - I could swear there's something going on behind the scene. Might be a cosmic threat and/or something else.

Indeed a great TV advertisement! I would never have thought that I would say something like that...
Is this TV advertisementit really on Mainstream American TV?

Hmmmm, ok, it is an anti-war ad but very "American". And too mild for my taste. In this ad we see nothing about war, on the contrary. When I say "American" I say it is just about America.

War is a very serious business, very brutal and very hard. I don't see this in this ad. Ok, maybe the intention is good.

What were odds of white house "admitting" no real evidence

To allign the thread with the latest Cs session, some of the PTB might not be aware of the cosmic threat, some are only doing it for money, I think it is safe to assume those who aren't aware of the cosmic threat and maybe another layer is doing it to keep the population distracted, assume those who know the real score.

I just posted on Sott re the 10 signs the global elite are losing control - but lost it whe I posted! damn. Anyway glad we get a session with the C's so wil go over there for the time being.

All does seem to appear to be rhetoric but in the next two days we will find out.

With this latest piece by Fox News, it's starting to look more and more like the PTB have decided to set up the Obama administration for a fall. As I see it, it can either be because:

A. This was planned all along. The PTB saw how Obama's popularity and support had declined, and they needed to change tactics and install new front figures. Perhaps the evidence for Assad's chemical attack was deliberately vague, sot that an opposing anti-war movement could be more easily initiated. So, the Obama administration in their stupidity would have believed that this would be "business as usual", while the hidden masters would know that this wouldn't fly

B. The PTB thought they would do "business as usual", but the awareness of the people got them by surprise. And perhpas they have calculated that the original plan is not working anymore. As they saw opposition and outrage escalating, they decided to jump on the same wagon, "helping" the opposition. So they decide to throw Obama to the wolves, get some new popular figure out there to scream "change", and then as the dust settles down, the new smoke screen is installed

Or, perhaps there's an option C.: the 'paths are just plain stupid and the different factions in the US are fighting against each other?

I am by no means an expert, but I think we are being played here. I don't know what to make of this Fox news presenter. Her indignation seemed a little false to me, but I could be wrong.

Somehow I get the feeling that there might be a power struggel going on in the midst of those Psychopaths?
I'm just wondering if they are not shooting themselfs in the foot right now.

And no, I don't think this FOX News report is happening for no reason and in fact I think that it is a speech that was send in to deliver for whatever reason.

Pretty interesting to watch right now.

I'm just wondering if what we are witnissing here has maybe something to do with what the C's have said here:

Thanks for that session excerpt, that's the one i've had in my mind for a long time now. This is what makes me believe that WWIII in the way many would expect it is not inevitable. The ongoing power struggle that rears its head at certain periods makes me optimistic (why i don't know since i've never really been an optimist about much) that the puppets of 4d & their "fruit loop" hangers-on will make a big mistake.
In fact, i'm waiting for several (dunno why) since my understanding of service to self keeps growing & we may be at the cusp of one of the (potential) mistakes, this would be the growing awareness of the lies & contradictions, and about time too. The other? I'm not sure. Perhaps they might rally 'round against the obvious thorn in their side that is the World Wide Web, with all its truth seeking non pathological types, & worse; the critically thinking fact finding investigative authors who readily disseminate info-knowledge at the drop of a hat, & all the while encouraging all to THINK!

Interesting, media moguls turned their back to obama and jet don't have a appropriate replacement? I sniff some big rush here... Some really big spiders, up to each other, realized that there is not enough place on higher step - i guess... Who is now the vice-president? Oh, just googled - Joe Biden... Let's find something about him...

First of all, I enjoyed that video quite a bit! But it worries me as much if not more than the issues and questions she was presenting. As was already asked here:

I don't believe anything would be shown in Fox News without an agenda, so what exactly is going on here? PTB power struggle? Setup for a new Presidential puppet leader? Setup for the US to be attacked? Distraction?

I don't suppose to know what's going on behind the scenes, but for Fox to put out something against Obama like that just makes me worry, watch and wait for what might be next...

Time for Plan B? US lawmakers, Russia push alternative to Syria strike

President Obama's "Plan A" for a military strike on Syria could be in danger just one day before he makes his case to the American people as Russia, the U.N. and some in Congress push for a newly emerging "Plan B."

Gaining traction is a push to compel the Assad regime to turn over its chemical weapons.
The idea caught fire unexpectedly on Monday after Secretary of State John Kerry made an off-hand comment that Syria could resolve the stand-off by relinquishing its chemical weapons within a week. Kerry claimed that Assad "isn't about to do it" -- and an aide suggested the secretary was not being serious.

But within hours, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow would push Syria to place its chemical weapons under international control.
Officials with the State Department and the White House have since said they'll take a "hard look" at the Russians' proposal.
"We would welcome Assad giving up his chemical weapons. ... That would be terrific," White House Deputy National Security Adviser Tony Blinken said, while stressing that Congress should still vote to authorize the use of force in order to keep the pressure on Syria.

U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and British Prime Minister David Cameron also reportedly indicated support for the plan to have Syria turn over chemical weapons to international control. And a pair of U.S. senators is already pushing an alternative resolution in Congress that would achieve similar goals.

Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., and Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D, who are opposed to a strike on Syria at this time, are pushing a resolution that would give Syria 45 days to join the international convention against chemical weapons and take "concrete steps" to comply with it.

In a written statement, Heitkamp said this would have Bashar Assad "begin the process of turning over its chemical weapons."
"If, after 45 days, the Assad regime mistakes our deliberate and careful democratic process for lack of will and immunity, it does so at its own peril," she said.

Manchin and Heitkamp have been promised a vote on their proposal, Fox News is told.
It's unclear whether the Obama administration, which is pushing a military strike in response to an Aug. 21 chemical weapons attack blamed on the Assad regime, will seriously consider these offers.

State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki seemed to walk back Kerry's original remark, clarifying that Kerry "was making a rhetorical argument about the impossibility and unlikelihood of Assad turning over chemical weapons he has denied he used."

She added: "His point was that this brutal dictator with a history of playing fast and loose with the facts cannot be trusted to turn over chemical weapons otherwise he would have done so long ago."

But the State Department said later in the day that it would take a "hard look" at the proposal.
Lavrov said he has already handed over the proposal and expects a "quick, and hopefully, positive answer."
"We are calling on the Syrian leadership to not only agree on placing chemical weapons storage sites under international control, but also on its subsequent destruction and fully joining the treaty on prohibition of chemical weapons," he said.

Syria's foreign minister said the country welcomes the Russian proposal.
The alternative plan could offer Obama, who is planning a national address on Tuesday, a lifeline as he prepares for a tough set of votes on Capitol Hill. The Senate could hold a key test vote as early as Wednesday. However, with the defection of Heitkamp and many others, it will be a tough climb to corral the 60 votes that are likely necessary to advance the use-of-force resolution. The House is an even tougher sell.

Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid was expected to formally tee up the test vote on Monday.
Lavrov's statement followed media reports alleging that Russian President Vladimir Putin, who discussed Syria with Obama during the group of 20 summit in St. Petersburg last week, sought to negotiate a deal that would have Assad hand over control of chemical weapons.
Speaking earlier in the day, Lavrov denied that Russia was trying to sponsor any deal "behind the back of the Syrian people."

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
