Jesse Ventura Conspiracy Theory

Re: Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory - Ep 1 HAARP

New season of Conspiracy Theory set to begin Friday, October 15 on TruTV.

_http://www.trutv.com/shows/conspiracy_theory/episodes/index.html

Episode titles for this season:

"Plum Island"
"Wall Street"
"Area 51"
"Police State"
"JFK Assassination"
"Great Lakes"

Think it will be more of a waste of time than the rest of TV? Maybe individual assigned reviewers would be helpful for this sort of thing.

Jesse Ventura doing an expose on the Pentagon strike right now on True TV

His series is called Conspiracy Theory. He is telling everyone on national TV that a missile hit the Pentagon. He is interviewing people that were there that day.
He also said this was the real smoking gun. He is going into quite a bit of depth for a show like this. I am very suprised it is being aired, actually.

It started at 10 pm eastern standard- will rebroadcast at 2 am.

Re: Jesse Ventura doing an expose on the Pentagon strike right now on True TV

I've caught a few of his shows online. However he is linked to Alex Jones now, and although I like what he has to say (Ventura), it seems very over acted, silly and actor-ish. But heck, spreading some truth here and there, more power to him.

I can't shake the feeling of 'set up for civil upset.'

Just my thoughts. :)

I agree with you .

But without throwing the baby out with the bathwater, I am amazed it made it to TV.

And as bad as the acting is, remember the audience it is geared to. I am sure they are not Sott readers, lol

Re: Jesse Ventura doing an expose on the Pentagon strike right now on True TV

I have a family member who likes to watch Jesse's show, and have sat through the past few. The production is horrible and distracting, but I must admit he asks pretty good questions and for the most part has interesting speculations about the topics I've seen. Being deeply suspicious of anything that comes through a tv screen makes me wonder why it is that these things are on tv. The only angle I can see is that because Ventura is seen by the majority as something of a maverick & crackpot, it is a way of marginalizing the serious topics he takes on, giving non-thinking people a handy way to dismiss them.

Jesse Ventura probes the Pentagon strike

This aired Dec 17th

Included is a flight simulation showing the airliner could not have been maneuvered in that way- even by an experienced pilot, Rumsfeld's admission of the missing $2 trillion from the day before the attacks- stating that the portion of the building that was hit is where financial files are kept, eyewitness interviews, explaination and demonstration of a voice simulator (regarding the cell phone calls). Neither did he forget to mention the people working inside the building that were killed. Not bad for MSM...doubt it will ever be shown again:

Jesse Ventura Conspiracy Theory blows the "official story" of the pentagon attacks on September 11, 2001.

I don't like all the conspiracy theory shows he's done but this one is pretty darn good.

I watched the Pentagon episode. Except for being totally cheesy (the conference scenes around the table are painfully scripted), it presented some good information. E.g., LA-X employee who overheard that there was a stand down order given to NORAD from the White House and that a missile hit the Pentagon. They investigated how the calls could've been faked, that the flight path was impossible, no wreckage or bodies, etc. However, the 43 min show had about 10 minutes worth of real data.

The show seems to be geared to appeal to those who don't like conspiracies.
It may seem contradictory, but putting the 10 minutes of data into a 43 minute show probably keeps the typical viewer's attention peaked in curiosity.

Hello all,
I just wanted to give my 2 cents worth on this show. I've watched both seasons of “Conspiracy Theory” and there are aspects about the show that impress me and some that doesn't. First here’s what bothers me: I get the feeling sometimes that the program is shown with a bit of a "tongue in cheek" type of presentation. I’m not sure why but it seems like the show pokes fun of itself to some degree thereby discrediting itself. It’s like it doesn’t really take itself seriously and is on tv just for entertainment value. I wonder if this is being done on purpose? I do like Jesse Venture and I believe he really is searching for the truth. I think he allows himself to be exploited, consciously or not, by people (Alex Jones for one) that want to push their own agenda by misdirecting or filtering the truth. Also, can the show go just one episode without mentioning multiple times the fact that Jesse Ventura was a Navy seal? Is JV a bit egotistical to continue to mention this fact so often?

Now here is what I like about the show: it touches on a lot of topics that we don’t see discussed on tv, i.e. 911, the Bilderberg group, the controversial Denver Airport, etc. I think JV sees the signs that something just isn’t right about these things and tries to shine some light on what bothers him but maybe doesn’t go far enough in investigating or misses the mark on finding the truth. The one thing I like the most is that he calls attention to the fact that the topics discussed on his show need to be looked at closer than what is currently being done if it is done at all. I think he at least gets people thinking about 911 or HAARP or the global warming hoax in ways they would not have considered before. I don’t think we can get all the truthful answers from just one source. We have to look under a lot of different stones to find the truth. The hard part is trying to figure out when we are being deceived and when we are not.

I have to agree with Rip...

Personally, I think he (Jesse) is leading some of the unawakened into the promised land...a land of confusion and half-truths. The very first show I watched was a kind of shock for me because one of the interviewed was wearing a Project Camelot t-shirt. A shock because I had only started watching Project Camelot videos on the internet and of course watching those can cause one to experience emotions like shock, fear, amazement, and OMG...so to see someone on mainstream television sporting one of their t-shirts was kind of in your face...for those who even noticed this. Once you venture into this land, you can't back out...that kind of knowledge is pretty unforgettable.

Check out "Police State". In his interview with fromer rep Cohen from TN, Cohen twice brings up the fact that the Fema camps have nothing to do with an Alien Takeover. Cohen was extremely red and nervous. First he says that the Fema camps were made up by those thinking aliens were taking over society...then, when Ventura shows him the bill that Cohen co-sponsered he changed is tune. Cohen said something like" now I remember, it's in case of another disaster like Katrina but has nothing to do with an alien take over". Ventura never prompted an alien threat idea, but Cohen just had to keep bringing it up whilst he was sweating bullets. Guess that's why Cohen is now unemployed?

I'm trying to figure out what I think of this series so I'm glad to find this thread.

Many here have concluded that he's cointelpro, and pointed to disinfo.
I'm still trying to decide.

Supportive of the cointelpro conclusion:
-He was a navy seal. Do they ever actually retire?
(Also, why do the most sinister people so frequently come from navy intel? All armed services have intel so why does navy intel come up so often as a red flag?)
-The show is embarrassingly cheesy and bombastic. Is this to cause people to recoil, or to entertain them to get them to watch?
-The name "Conspiracy Theory" is a reinforcement of the negative frame imposed on free thinkers by the Conspiracists. As George Lakoff points out frequently, using a term reinforces it (invoking the frame reinforces the frame) so the show could not have have a worse name.
-His network, TruTV, is owned by Time Warner. They are among the leading propagandists/mockingbirds since the days of Luce, and there's no way they would allow a legit show with legit researchers on the air to inform the public.

Supportive of the sincere researcher conclusion:
-Only one point but it's a biggie--I've just seen the JFK and Wall Street episodes and I saw NO disinfo. JFK is the subject I'm most knowledgeable about and care most about.
And in spite of the melodrama the info he presented was sound, the people he interviewed were well known and credible, and he covered an impressive scope of material for the limited time.

So, from my limited sample size I'm seeing GOOD/accurate info in horrible packaging presented on a network owned by known propagandists.
I'm still trying to decide what to make of it.

I watched one live recorded Q&A episode in the show's Livestream channel, and it gave me that rather traditional conspiracy theory discussion forum feeling. But then I watched the 9/11 episode and it was in a word TERRIBLE!

It's scripted badly, acted worse and uses some classic tricks to make conspiracy theorists look stupid and cardboard cutouts, what more there is to say? Definite disinfo. Too bad, Ventura in some interviews gave me an impression of an honest individual.

What disinfo did it contain Smallwood?
